Our guy Kevin went above and beyond to take care of our group. We were missing two golf bags and a luggage bag, with limited response from the airline. Kevin and his staff were diligent in demanding the airport/airline deliver our bags, which arrived the next day, after being promised 3 days later. He was very attentive to our needs as a group, and provided us service above and beyond anything we expected. If you are looking for a place to stay in Cruden Bay, this is a must.

Location to the golf course, quality of service, quality of restaurant and staff, comfortable, clean rooms.

The building inside and out was beautiful, very clean and food was really good.

Our room the family suit was very very cold. The heating was switched off during the night and we ended up with the younger children in bed with us to keep warm, by the morning we got up and dressed without showing it was so cold. We did have an electric heater in the room but it didn’t seem to make much difference. It was such a shame because everything else was beautiful! If it was summer this would not have been a problem.

The owners and staff were fantastic- so welcoming and looked after us very well. They were really friendly and great fun . My mother is coeliac & everything was so well organised for her from gluten free treats on arrival to all the lovely food at breakfast and dinner. It’s in a gorgeous location overlooking Slains Castle and a perfect base for touring around the area.

Friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean room. Comfy bed. . Great breakfast including a selection of fresh fruit, avocado on toast, variety of breads. Vegetarian choices. Great location, gorgeous view. Rocking bar with pool table

The food was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! Best we’ve had for ages. Really tasty and big portions. Also the staff and hosts were brilliant.

The rooms need updating a bit but the owners are new and working on that.

The village is very beautiful and the little hotel was fantastic! The view is stunning from the room and everything is cozy and comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back!

The room, fabulous view of the golf course and sea. Food well priced, cooked well and plenty of it. The staff all excellent, nothing was a bother for them.

We booked a night away to take in the lovely views The place was dated but oh so clean...the staff so welcoming ..the food was too I slept like a log in the huge double bed with linen so crisp and clean Will soon be back for more in the spring...with friends we will fill the whole hotel

Cosy and traditional which is what we loved! Alison and her family and staff are lovely and so friendly and warming! the breakfast and dinner were more than you could ever ask for. filling and delicious! just what was needed after a long travel! Exceptionally clean!! couldn’t ask for anything more as perfect.
