Amazing location, friendly staff. Great for a family or couple. Also had certain lights on solar for when there is any Eskom issues. Great location a stones throw away from mall of africa.

The stay was great, nothing we didnt like. However, just a few side notes: 1. Do take your own knives and other essentials for the house. Although most items are provided. 2. Home provides Netflix and Disney plus etc on your own account - don't forget to take your log in details. No DSTV.

Tuareg Guest House was completely above and beyond my expectations. The garden is from heaven and the house from the outside looks divine. On entering you are being met with a beautiful porch with a wooden door. Maybe its just me, but I really felt like royalty when I stayed at Tuareg Guest House. The staff is so friendly and the hostess is very welcoming and so easy to chat with. The rooms have Tuareg desert feel to them, they are very clean and tidy and we slept like logs. Now that is rare, a Guest House with a good quality bed. You cant find that around every corner. Tuareg Guest House will definitely see me again, To be able to get tranquillity in Midrand is also very rare.

I think the bedroom carpet was a bit rough getting out of be, but that's about it. Other than that the place is perfect.

The garden,it has a bushy feeling,home away from home,it’s a hidden gem,what a beautiful place .I was travelling with my elderly mother and she was immediately given ground floor villa without extra charge,the host is very nice and professional,I’m definitely coming back

Breakfast bit too early

Very quite, peaceful location, still close to the Mall of Africa, set in a wonderful garden. We had booked two double rooms (for a family of four) but were offered a spacious two-bed-room unit with a full kitchen and big lounge when we arrived - at no extra cost. The unit (a seperate house in the garden) was in very neat and clean condition, beds were very comfortable and the lounge had big, comfortable sofas. Breakfast was very good, staff friendly and you can even order dinner, if you wish. We would surely book again when we are in the region.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. The guest house is situated in a lovely setting in a treed garden with lots of birds chirping - it truly feels like an escape from the hustle and bustle of Joburg. Very spacious and comfortable room with a king size bed - bonus was it has a kitchenette and couch, as well as a TV. A delicious breakfast was served in the morning. The staff were helpful and friendly. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would recommend it.

The owner of the property is very nice and helpful, very comfortable room with everything you need a nice balcony to have a coffee and hear the birds singing 😍location perfect according to my travelling purpose, I’ll always remember this place.

The people, Russo, the Danish dog, breakfast and the rooms are wonderful. The garden is really nice too, with a lovely swimming pool. All great.

The TV setup is always a bit of a trouble to me..., but support was quickly available 😎

Had a lovely stay at the Tuareg guesthouse. Bertha helped a lot with making arrangements for transfers from and to the airport. She even went with me to see the Cradle of Humankind caves! The room was comfortable and relaxed with a wonderful view over the garden. I loved the majestic dogs that were wandering around. The garden was also a marvelouse place to wander around and relax. I've enjoyed the breakfast and some lunches and dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love to come back to this home far away from home!

I liked the cozy and green environment outside town a lot, but I can imagine that the location is a bit far from Joburg city center and other attractions. Shops and the race circuit are nearby, but you will need a car to get there. However, if you don't mind to have some travel time on days that you want to visit those attractions, then the guesthouse is a great destination!

Such a lovely host, so welcoming, caring and her dogs are guest friendly. The place is lovely as seen on the pictures and it is indeed a home away from home. Hence, I will definitely book again.

Nothing I didn't like. It felt like I was in a farm hotel.

The rooms are specious with large bed and large TV. The staff are great. The property is extremely safe. I slept with my doors wide open on to the veranda. Great.

The room that i had could do with an aircon.
