The room is very clean, and we received a complimentary upgrade. The staff are very helpful and polite.

I didn't like that they charge an extra 25 euros for parking in the hotel's garage.

The property was perfectly located to explore the city and not have to constantly worry about driving your vehicle. Plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as events if you have a family. The price was great for the location I will definitely make this my go to hotel when I am around Genoa again. A big thank you to the staff as I had to extend am extra night due to the ferry not leaving the date it was suppose to. The staff told me the hotel was booked but they worked their magic so I could keep room an extra night thank you!

Not really a complaint but I did not really feel any air conditioning in my room. The room was not hot but it could have been cooler with more air flow.

Location, location, location. We were thrilled to find this lovely hotel right across from the Brignole train station. We took a day trip to Portofino (an easy 20 minute train trip) and had an early train to Venice the next day, so it was super great to be a five minute walk to the station. Our room was beautiful and very much up to standards common in nice US hotel chains. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, clean and lovely. We were there for two nights and it was very reasonably priced.

For some reason, the hotel uses these crazy heavy tasseled room keys. It was easy to leave the key at the front desk on our way out (because we didn't want to carry the silly key with us) but I don't know why they don't use key cards like most modern hotels.

the reception asked me for a bank card when I checked in, for guarantee, and the hotel tried to take the same amount that I paid in Booking through the bank, but the good thing was that I had to approve the payment, and when I told them that, they said that we thought that you did not pay the fees, knowing that the withdrawal was during the middle of the night. While I was sleeping, the stay was generally comfortable, but there was a scam in the reception

The location was very nice. The very good promotion to upgrade with a price. The room was spacious and clean. We were on the 9th floor. The minibar was ok. Breakfast is included but with no variety. The staff was nice and helpful.

Breakfast is expensive for what you get. You have to pay extra for eggs on a pan. Still Very very poor Breakfast. Parking is extra and you have to pay. We wish that this would be included for a 4 star hotel in the main room price.

Reception - there are 2 reception staff who are exceptionally personable, with very good soft skills. One is the lady with black hair who called a taxi for us and the other is the gentleman (around 50+ years old maybe) who handled our check out. Bar man - he is very welcoming. Lovely attitude towards guests. Housekeeping - very fast and awesome cleaning. We had our daily supply of coffee and sugar packs. Location - very close to the train station. The city center is within manageable walking distance with a kid in tow. Breakfast - spread is good and has a lot of choices (sweet and savory).

Reception and breakfast staff - apart from the 2 reception staff, the staff's soft skills may be improved. Smiling to guests won't hurt. The tone of the lady at the reception who handled our check in leaves a lot to be desired. Wifi connection was on and off but that's fine because we have data anyway. Room temperature - we called the reception to ask how can we adjust the temperature because it was getting hot. We were informed that the heater was on and that she can send someone to open the window. We said it's fine, no need. We just turned off the aircon and it was much better.

From the moment we walked in the staff were so friendly and helpful full of local information and tips. The room we were assigned had a problem where the bath water wouldn’t drain. Without question or checking my complaint they moved us immediately. The location to the main train station , subway and centre of Genoa was minutes away. The rooms were so clean, well presented with a very comfortable bed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to stay in Genoa.

That they have a parking but they don’t tall you if is available till the last second that you make a check in, and when i asked for other options they give me pure options. At the end i find a parking alone in the garage 1KM from the hotel for less cost than the hotel parking. When i asked about other options they didn’t mentioned that one.

The room and bathroom were lovely and large and the bed was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was also good. I was delighted to see that shampoo, shower gel etc were in large refillable bottles to reduce plastic wastage.

We would have appreciated some complimentary water perhaps the hotel should consider installing a water fountain and providing guests with refillable glasses/bottles to reduce plastic wastage

The hotel is beautiful and situated very close to plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff were the highlight as everyone we interacted with greeted us with a smile and so much kindness. I would like to make special mention of the barman, Elvio (please forgive me if this is incorrect spelling) We enjoyed aperitivo with him every night and it was our favourite time of the day. We didnt have breakfast or make use of any facilities, but the room was lovely and spacious. We will definitely return.
