This is one of our favorite spots to stay when we visit Ormond Beach,FL. It's our own little 'get away' place to relax & have fun. Room 216 was great. Never stayed in a room with a full kitchen/dining room set-up which would be good for anyone with an extra long stay. Rooms are always clean & beds are always comfy. It was our first time experiencing their newly renovated breakfast area - they did a great job and it appeared everyone was enjoying the selections. All rooms have a view of the ocean & the pool is nice. This hotel never lost beach access even after the hurricane.

Each room needs to be equipped with a broom due to the beach sand that gets tracked in. We bought one at the dollar store just so we could keep the floors 'sand-free'. I don't have anything bad to say about the hotel. The soft sand on the beach is a bit troublesome to walk on and plenty of cars get stuck in it. Just putting that out there as an FYI.

The location is amazing. We stayed Ocean View and still felt as if we were Ocean Front. The way these rooms are designed leaves a great view when sitting on the chairs outside of the door. You are right on the ocean. The big covered cabana type sitting area by the pool was so nice, as well. we enjoyed sitting out there. You could be right by the ocean but not in the sand. The pool was awesome. It's not a luxury place, but the rooms were very clean and the location is perfect. So much quieter and more secluded than Daytona.

Several weed smokers who were doing it openly in front of everyone. They sat in the chairs right by the pool. I'm not sure of the legality but this was bothersome that they were doing it openly in front of kids. I hate the smell and it hindered our enjoyment of the trip as they were always out there.

Great fresh and abundant breakfast food selection. Lobby coffee always available 24x7. Night watch personnel (Blain and Mathew - new in training) were very friendly when up early mornings for coffee (6 AM) such as not to disturb wife still sleeping in room. Parking was abundant and safe.

** Room keys are plain white on both sides. Laying same on bed with white sheets lends to not being able to find same. Room door keys need to have some color/design on both sides. ****** BATH TUB SHOWERS NEED TO HAVE EITHER NON SLIP STRIPS APPLIED TO SURFACE FOR OBVIOUS SLIP-FALL PROTECTION or RUBBER SHOWER MATS WITH BOTTOM SUCTION CUPS NEED TO BE PROVIDED TO EACH ROOM. We used regular towel to stand on as optional remedy.

Nice and affordable. the new person at the front desk was very helpful.

We stayed a couple of more days but had to switch rooms to a kitchen which we didn't use except the fridge and microwave. We stayed in our first room 6 days and never so no bugs. But the two days in the other room I killed two roaches. The owners husband came up there and sprayed but I still killed another roach the next day and this was after having to pay over 400 dollars for this room. Don't know if we will be back there again. C W

The outside has me nervous but the inside is perfect and nice. I loved the access to the beach as well.

The pool could have been a little better and with a hot tub. The construction was a little frustrating but I know it will look great once it's completed. I would have liked to be a little farther down on the strip, but that was our first trip to Daytona and it was pleasant.

Location was great. Staff was very nice and helpful. It's obvious the building has been around a long time, but the room was very clean and nicely updated. Air conditioning worked well, even through Tropical Storm Debby (we were on the outer edges.)

Breakfast sausage would look better if they were browned a bit.

Cannot find a better location! Every staff member that I encountered was super nice! The inside did not disappoint, it was clean and the beds were very comfortable! I will stay here again!

There wasn’t anything that I disliked about the property.

Breakfast was ok, needs more food like grits and ham and more fruit and Pop tarts I love them and so do my grandkids I love the place, I have stayed there for the last 5 years.

Needs lights on stairwells and pool area and the stairs and rails need to be painted

The hotel was directly on the ocean. The pool area was clean and good sized. The common area was very clean as was the lobby, elevators and walkways. The front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. I loved the “grab and go” breakfast selections. Every employee we encountered was friendly and courteous. We will surely return often to this facility.

Staffing was great, the rooms are updated. Didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool but seen everyone having a amazing time. I enjoyed the Ocean Beach more.

I was disappointed about the breakfast. When i called to ask about the continental breakfast as I booked my room. I was miss led by the manager on duty. The morning I went down for breakfast It was just a grab bag to go breakfast.
