The toilet wasn’t flushing and the shower wasn’t a pleasant experience

I enjoyed the peace and quiet at this place even though there were some upgrades or work being done at the facility which is very understandable. Rose our host was hands on and always available whenever we needed her.

As a Professional Tourist Guide I would advise that the property be more accommodating money wise or fees on their game drives as I felt that it was overpriced considering that it's very close to the Kruger National Park Gate. Guest will simply decide to drive straight into the Kruger which is less than 10min drive from the property and do a Safari at a very reasonable price. I would also recommend offering Bush walks which is something that guest would be keen on doing.

Clean, spacious rooms with a very unique African style. The breakfast was decent, and the two staff members there were mostly pleasant. Also a bit of a drive from town so very peaceful and quiet. Very well maintained property.

False advertising of the wildlife. They don't really have elephants on the property. Only when they break through the Kruger fences and come onto the property. The intercom at the entrance is too soft and needs repairs.

The lodge is located in a beautiful, quiet space. Sphiwe was very welcoming and made sure that I had everything I needed. Breakfast was lovely. It was nice seeing animals walking around the lodge.

The room was old. The bed and bedding need to be changed. The common spaces are beautiful but some improvements can be made in the rooms. It would have been nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room instead of sharing the main kitchen with the other guests.

The rooms are large and spacious, and equipped with all the essentials. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a breakfast with fruit and cottage cheese, toast, bacon and eggs. As a base to go to Kruger NP a good place to stay. In front of the fence of the accommodation impalas and waterbuck and many birds could be observed. The starry sky was outstanding.

The way to the accommodation is a bit adventurous, about 15 min over gravel road into the bush. We did not dislike this per se, we just did not expect it.

This is a beautiful setting, within minutes of arriving a heard of elephants came to the watering hole. It is set in the bush and is about 20 mins drive from the local town. The people were friendly and helpful and everything was clean and tidy. There is great access to Kruger park and the host arranged a days safari with Elias which was outstanding. If you are looking for luxury this isn't it, they have obviously struggled through covid and some things were a little tired but if you are looking for a base to chill close to the park in a wonderful environment then this ticks all the boxes

Whilst the breakfast was great, there was no other catering available albeit you could use the lodges fully equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook yourself. There is also no Bar on site but you can again bring your own and store it in the fridges in the kitchen.

the property is stunning. based in a private estate exactly next to Kruger Park. it’s so close you can see the animals from the Park while having breakfast. We encountered an elephant on the premises while driving to the lodge. there is beautiful craft all around. you have to remember that this is Africa so you might encounter a spider or two in your room, but there is a mosquito and bug net over the bed. Tom the manager and Rose are fantastic people. breakfast is 5stars! If you’re looking for a stay close to Kruger and in the setting of a true african lodge than this is the place!

Great location in the Bush. Peter and Shipiwe were very friendly, hands-on, and ensured we had a comfortable stay. Enjoy the terrace overlooking the bush. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is well prepared and presented beautifully.

The location is in the middle of the bush. So quiet, with squirrels and interesting birds all around - yet only 5km from the town. The rooms are all private, built in such a way that no one overlooks anyone else's room. Breakfast was excellent, perfectly cooked and well presented. Sitting around the fire boma at night is a win!

There were a few lightbulbs out in our room, so the dressing room and bathroom were a bit gloomy in places. No milk for tea and coffee is provided in the rooms, but there is some in the communal kitchen.

Oh wow, where do I start!! Fantastic from the get go.. Cozy little oasis. Well organised, clean, friendly environment. Staff available and visible when needed. Always willing to assist and accommodate what our specific need were ie: Served breakfast in front of our room, made coffee when we asked.. Man this was truly truly above what we expected.. Beautiful feel inside and out.. Felt like we were away from the hustle. Will def book longer.. Much love to you guys..
