Didn't realise it was just a room above a pub! Slightly misleading description on your page. Very heavy traffic area.

Comfortable hotel a very short walk from the train station, cafes and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were hearty and appetising. The room was appealing with modern decor, comfortable bed and everything required for a relaxed stay. The website photographs were an accurate depiction of the facilities and there was plenty of car parking outside the hotel entrances.

The hotel is located next to the train line and busy highway. However, I did not notice any extra noise during sleeping hours.

It's quaint, clean, economical, and has good amenities. I needed to ask for a room upgrade to a room with a desk, and they accommodated me without changing the price.

It's above a pub. I thought it would be more like a traditional hotel. People should be aware it's above a bar, a casino, and BWS. Those things didn't affect my room or security or bother me while in my room, but since I wasn't really expecting it to be a hotel of that nature, I'm not sure you'd list it as a traditional hotel. I can't complain, though, as the price was extremely reasonable.

A small but very convenient motel for an overnight stop. The price was good for suburban Sydney. The ensuite bathroom was excellent and bigger than others we have stayed in, in other motels. The old hotel had been renovated and the motel room was modern in decor and well presented. The bar fridge was adequate and the room well organised. There were no chairs - so we went down to the bar for our free driink. We could have had discouned bistro meals. It was surprisingly quiet give its location next to Pacifc Hwy and the railway line.

Parking was promised but the parking spaces were all taken by those in the bar until late in the evening. At least 1 chair in the room would have been good.

Stayed overnight on the way to Brisbane. Location close to proximity to highway. We stayed on Thursday night which is a Trivia night. So we can hear the microphone 🎤 from downstairs. Though the noise was manageable. Not overly loud. And music as well. We didnt mind. Ear plugs were provided. But we didn’t use. Free car park is a bonus. Pub downstairs has a very good meals. And free inhouse drink included. We will comeback.

we booked a 3 beddy, but on the day, the accommodation had some electricity issues, so the staff moved us to 2 separate room neighbouring each other for no extra charge. Nice cold aircond, esp during the muggy summer days. Ear plugs as the hotel is located next to a main arterial and train tracks. Nice touch with ear plugs. Basic ammenities - tea, coffee, complimentary water, Netflix! Comfy bed, with complimentary beers for each guest.

Being next to the major roads made it a little noisy - but earplugs provided.

I’d been working and driving all over Sydney all day, got back at 7:30pm, settled back in, went downstairs to have dinner and they had closed the kitchen already as they had run out of food. pity. but I am sure they hadn’t intended to. just a busy day and my loss. seems so fun lively and I wanted to be in on it, but a woman sitting alone, without food, just drinking seemed a sad option! haha

The beautiful old hotel has been lovingly restored, with tasteful renovations whilst maintaining the original charm. The restaurant downstairs was very convenient as there aren't many good local options. The nearby train station was also very handy as was the location to get back to the highway.

No ability to open windows for fresh air was challenging, however there was an a/c, albeit noisy. Note noise from downstairs bar can be heard in rooms, and there is some traffic noise as the hotel is located on a busy street.

Room was lovely and very clean and the bathroom was very nice the staff were all really nice and welcoming close to the train station so easy access to the city without having to drive Also it had parking which is important to us

Only thing I could say negatively about this property is as my husband had a bad back in this visit we would have liked a chair in the room but it wasn’t a real issue

Simple and basic but modern renovated rooms. Great value for $. For the price was not expecting much tbh. Pleasantly surprised.

Nothing. Perfect value for an overnighter that wont break the bank. Esp in Sydney.
