It was a beautiful and relaxing property that made you feel calm. Well designed. Great location. Peaceful. Great breakfast made to order. Polite and accommodating staff

The bathroom situation in the room was odd. There was no door to the bathroom and the shower and toilet were separated by see-through glass. Essentially, zero privacy when needing to do private things.

Everything was amazing! From the first moment we were blown away. The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful - stunning architecture and interior design. The room was perfect, with the bed being one of the most comfortable I have slept on. I can’t begin to explain how amazing the staff were too. They were all so friendly and so helpful, every time my partner and I interacted with them we were even more happy and content. The food and drinks provided by the hotel were truly sublime! The breakfast was a true highlight of the day and meant an easy start to every day. The cocktails in the evening were a perfect finish after a long day exploring. We were incredibly sad leaving Majagua and cant wait to be back! If you are looking for a place to stay in Oaxaca city, this is it. You will not be disappointed.

Super cute hotel with a lovely rooftop and easy walking distance to everything. The staff kindly extended our check out time as we fell sick on our last day, which was so so helpful.

Given the price of the hotel, there are some easy updates they could make to improve the staff. For example, a list in the room of local places to visit and important information about the hotel/facilities would be great. There isn't a real door to close off the toilet, which is challenging in close quarters.

The staff were exceptional and always very friendly. They explained everything about our stay very clearly. It was a very modern and fashionable place to stay. It was a bit of a walk to local markets but that didn’t bother us too much. The rooms were clean and modern and all amenities were available to us.

The upstairs bar didn’t have much of a vibe, it opened late and closed early so we rarely were able to enjoy it. I didn’t bother with the breakfast as it was very basic. It would’ve been great to have afternoon snacks available whilst enjoying a drink or two before heading out. It can get a bit noisy in the hallways and transcends to the rooms at night so if you’re a light sleeper; something to consider.

The property is beautifully decorated and the room is a good size. The roof terrace is lovely and served a delightful breakfast every morning.  The staff were friendly and Fatima in particular was superb and gave us a great restaurant recommendation. 

The breakfast service was a bit chaotic and slow. The waiter seemed to half serve a table then move to the next one. They also had a confusing “included breakfast” that didn’t include certain random things on the menu. The only natural light in our room came through a courtyard which is shared with another bedroom. This made it a bit awkward to open the curtains and so the room is a bit dark. Although we coped fine you can definitely hear the noise from the road outside pretty clearly in the room.

The location was great, the staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee at breakfast was excellent. The size of the room was great, made for a comfortable stay and didn’t feel cramped.

Our room location was a bit noisy. We were in room 1 on the first floor. I also expected a bit more from breakfast, the options were limited.

How clean and modern it was. The room was chic and very comfortable for us as a couple. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The patio access from the room is such a plus detail. They made sure you were happy through the staying. We highly recommend it. And we will definitely comeback

Maybe having the free coffee at the room available through your staying. We had to pay for the nespresso coffee capsules after the ones they give you for free as a welcome token.

I loved everything about this hotel, the ambience, rooms, location, the daily homemade treats left in the rooms and the rooftop !! The chef and food at the hotel was an added plus with amazing food and baked goods. Breakfast on the roof was honestly one of our favorite parts about our whole trip. Not to mention the amazing staff, some of the most friendly and caring people we met. Front Desk super helpful with getting us set up our day trips with Jorge which was a blast! highly recommend! 10/10

The location was great, its a quick walk from the main tourist area. Its quiet and theres a lot of amenities close by. The employees were exceptional, super helpful and friendly!

The room was a bit small and outside porch is shared with a divider between units.

The hotel is gorgeous. Modern and chic. I travelled with a friend but we had our own separate rooms. I loved my room! It was spacious, clean, cosy and cool. I recommend asking for a room at the back, not the street side of the property. Initially I was room #1 by reception on the street side but it was so noisy (guests and street traffic) the first morning, I was wide awake at 6:30am! The hotel was apologetic and moved me a few hours later. Breakfast was great, lovely man called Daniel who told us all about the dishes and the special tea. Great staff. Great location. I will be back!

It’s noisy in the mornings if you’re on the street side.
