We stayed here in the Deluxe king-size room for 2 nights to attend a wedding at Willow Marsh Farm, which is only 10 minutes away. I fell in love with the room, and the bed was do comfy, very clean too. The staff were all lovely and very friendly and free on-site parking available. Despite other feedback complaining about the small car park, yes, it is small, but if you reverse into it, it's much easier to get out. The breakfast selection was good. We had the free continental one morning and paid for the cooked english breakfast the next morning, which was fab. The decor of the restaurant is very lovely. The place itself is a bit rough around the edges, but don't forget it's a 17th-century building, so it's got character and very well priced anyway compared to other places. You are also a very short walk away from the town

This room is at the front of the property and above the restaurant, we did hear some noise but not loudly so if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest using another room

We stayed in "Hastings". A large comfortable room. Nice views overlooking the church. Extremely comfortable large beds. Tidy shower room with lashings of hot water. Despite some comments to the contrary, we couldn't hear anything from the restaurant downstairs, although there was some external noise on the Saturday night, it was not a significant issue, and nothing to do with Caravelli's. The breakfast were Continental style, but with a good selection of pastries, cheese and meats as well as of cereals. The restaurant itself was first rate with very much an Italian menu, rather than the "Anglo-Italian presented by many so called Italian restaurants. The food was hot as tasty, the portion size was good and prices reasonable at least compared to what we pay in the South East. The wine was well kept and we would recommend the House Red as being very good value for what is a surprising good quality wine. The location is good for visiting the local area, and we would recommend the Great Central Railway within walking distance as well as Leicester Cathedral and the tomb of Richard iii, as well as Calke Abbey, and Kirby Muxloe Castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back in due course

Shower room "compact" but given the restrictions of a listed building the best use possible had been made of the space available. The room can get quite warm, but this can be mitigated by judicious use of blinds and open windows

We had a lovely room, spacious, with character. Breakfast was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was superb. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

There was only one bedside light and that was glaringly bright. Main room lights also bright so no soft lighting. The room wasn't very warm even with the radiator turned full on. We would have preferred to have a cooked breakfast but the continental breakfast had adequate fruit, yoghurt, meats and cheese for our dietary needs

Staff were friendly upon arrival, room was extremely large and spacious, huge bed and comfy and spotless, small car park Tbf as I still walled in there’s not a lot they can do about that.we eat in the restaurant the food was amazing and the prices were reasonable.

Restaurant closes at 10/10.30pm yet there was a lot of talking coming from the bar till about 1.30 so suffice to say we didn’t sleep much, which was a shame as the bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever been in! As the carpark is tiny I think they should take your registration upon arrival,so if you’re blocked in they no which room to go to!

Situated in the heart of Loughborough, the Caravelli boasts a prime location that initially raised concerns about potential noise disturbances. However, to my pleasant surprise, the hotel proved to be an oasis of tranquillity, offering a serene and peaceful ambiance. Nestled amidst the bustling town centre, this hidden gem manages to create an atmosphere of calm and serenity, ensuring a truly luxurious stay. As I stepped into the bedroom, I was immediately struck by the impeccable attention to detail and the exquisite design. The bed, adorned with plush linens and adorned with an array of plump pillows, provided the epitome of comfort. It was a haven of relaxation, inviting me to sink into its soft embrace after a long day of work. The Caravelli's commitment to providing a restful night's sleep was truly evident in every aspect of the room's layout and furnishings. In addition to its exceptional accommodations, the Caravelli also boasts an Italian restaurant that is nothing short of extraordinary. The menu options were a culinary delight, offering a tantalizing array of authentic Italian dishes crafted with the finest ingredients. From the first bite to the last, each dish was a symphony of flavours, expertly prepared and presented with finesse. The combination of the menu's diversity, the reasonable prices, and the impeccable quality of the food made dining at the Caravelli an unforgettable experience. In conclusion, the Caravelli surpassed all expectations, leaving an indelible impression of luxury and excellence. From its tranquil location to its sumptuous accommodations and delectable dining options, every aspect of this hotel exudes sophistication and refinement. Without a doubt, I eagerly anticipate my return to the Caravelli, where I can once again indulge in the opulence and splendour it offers.

When we arrived we found a parking space at the back and were a bit alarmed as it didn't look that good. However once we were inside our opinion very definitely changed. We were in the Hastings room which was large with a lovely but not usable fireplace and a big very comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was very quiet at night. It was definitely a good choice. We were there on a Tuesday night which was Pasta night. Starter, main and a glass of wine for £19.50 and the food was excellent. The restaurant was packed and buzzy and has an old fashioned Italian feel to it. Lovely. We had the continental breakfast the next day which was more than enough and there was a machine making good coffee. Would stay here again.

The room didn't have a bath which was fine for me but my other half would have preferred it. My only complaint about the shower was the tray was quite slippy. We are used to a non slip which is very non slip. But we were OK with it.

The staff were lovely and the restaurant downstairs had incredible food, I had dinner twice and would go back again! The bed was super comfortable and the location is perfect for anyone needing to be near the train station and centre of town.

My room specifically had some noisy water pipes at night. Not a deal breaker for me, but I think anyone who is a light sleeper would struggle with the constant water flow.

We stayed in the Hastings room and it was lovely. Large room with nice decor Tea coffee making facilities, hair dryer and an iron & ironing board which was an absolute bonus We booked a table in the Italian Restaurant and the food was delicious we ordered antipasto & garlic mushrooms as starters, seafood pasta and lasagna for mains. The food was delicious and the garlic mushrooms were particularly amazing Breakfast came with our room, it was a nice buffet breakfast with a choice of cereal, croissants, pain au chocolate, yoghurt, fresh fruit, continental meat and cheese, toast & jama etc. all were lovely and fresh and there was plenty there. You do need to book a carpark space as their carpark is tiny. Only downside of the hotel being above the restaurant has a later check in time than most hotels. Fortunately when we arrived earlier there was someone available to allow us to check in and our room was ready. Would definitely recommend

Our room was really very beautiful and they offer a nice breakfast in the morning. The hotel rooms are above an Italian restaurant which we did not try but it looked very good. Luckily we could leave our luggage with the hotel after the check out, so we did not have to carry it around with us while walking around in town.

Unfortunately it was a bit loud in the evening. Not sure if we were just unlucky and one of the other guests or the guests in the restaurant were just a bit loud that evening. But apart from that it was a really nice stay.

Excellent and spacious room directly above the property family restaurant. There is a desk space and separate toilet, and a nice bath within the room, which is unusual but adds to the charm of the room.

The parking is a little tight, but it was included in the room price. The rooms are excellent, but the doors close very loudly if not shut with care and whilst it didn't ruin the stay if I owned the property I would look at adjusting the doors as it was a bit annoying hearing everyone arrive and leave. Our room was excellent, but the mattress could do with replacing to a thicker one for more comfort.
