The whole hotel in general and the rooms in particular are made with high quality and design. Patio with pond, lobby, restaurant, fusion style looks very good. Designers also worked in the rooms, although there are no extraordinary solutions, everything is done wisely and at a high aesthetic level. The breakfast is modest but nutritious enough.

The location itself is convenient on the one hand (next to the station), but at the same time it doesn’t look very good (dirty streets, many homeless people and refugees in the area), but they didn’t bother us

The hotel offers good service value, is clean and has all the main facilities you would expect. Breakfast is decent and the breakfast room offers a view to what I will describe next ...

The hotel is located in a very dodgy and dangerous place. While I was there, I saw a brawl between maybe 10 ppl, and I walked past someone bleeding heavily while on my way to the hotel in the evening. 20 policemen arrived minutes after. The square in front of the hotel is EXTREMELY UNSAFE, and there's always gangs around. I never felt so unsafe in my whole life. Going to the hotel at night was like fighting for survival. The streets around the hotel are all littered also. Avoid that hotel if you value your safety. I won't go back and don't recommend it to anyone until the safety improves. It's a shame as the hotel is really nice.

The staff was very helpful and very polite, every small interaction put a smile on my face (and it's not a joke, I felt the need to smile every time I went to the reception or bumped into the cleaning crew down the hall). Btw, the room was impeccably clean and smelled wonderful evey night coming back to the hotel. If the managers are reading this, know that they deserve a raise :)

I didn't quite enjoy the area, there is trash everywhere on the streets (not hotel's fault but...). On the plus side, it's close to Gare du Midi. I guess it's the same story in every city - the closer to the train station, the dirtier the streets.

The hotel offers a charming blend of modern and rustic design, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. Conveniently located, the hotel is within walking distance to both the Eurostar terminal and the city center, approximately 10-15 minutes on foot, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

The hotel's immediate surroundings are currently under construction, which results in noticeable noise throughout the day. Additionally, the area lacks local amenities such as restaurants and bars, so guests will need to walk into the town center to access these. It's advisable to do a bit of research beforehand, as dining and entertainment options are scattered throughout the town and may require some planning. Overall, the location feels more industrial than vibrant.

The aesthetics, comfort, access and furnishings of the hotel were absolutely wonderful. The staff was caring and exceptionally nice and provided assistance whenever they could. I liked the hotel very much

The location of the hotel meant that I had to cross a dangerous area in the evening and was promptly accosted and nearly mugged. However, once safely ensconced in the hotel, I was given a lot of support and went only next door for an evening meal not wishing to tempt fate again. I would have preferred to arrive by taxi, but the hotel's proximity to the Eurostar terminal (in itself a bonus) means that taxi drivers advise you to walk as it is too short a journey for them to be profitable.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the Urban Yard hotel. The room is nice and comfortable. The bathroom is among the best we have experienced in our travel. I, my wife, and our kids really like the breakfast with a wide range of food and drinks. If you plan to stay in this hotel, try the breakfast! One of the best things of the Urban Yard Hotel is the location. It locates in the area which we could easily reach to metro/tram/bus stations and also walk to famous places such as Manneken Pis and Grand market (12 minutes walking). From the hotel, we took a train to visit Royal Belgian institute of Natural Sciences which was only 6 minutes for the ride. In short, our travel is complete thanks to the Urban Yard Hotel!

There are some construction sites near by which is a bit messy, however we could still find the way to the hotel easily from the Midi station.

Great hotel 10 minutes walk from eurostar Station. 15 minutes easy walk to centre of Brussels. Lovely breakfast and lovely room . If you want a weekend city trip then this is the hotel to stay in thanks for a perfect break. 👌

The actual hotel - breakfast, staff from the girl at the reception who could speak some Portuguese to the lovely guy cleaning the rooms! Large room, great shower, large bathroom, great lights & decor all around… a good distance from the MIDI station and to the city centre if you take Stalingrad road… it’s a great value for money. Lovely Belgium cone sweets at the pillows were a lovely detail!

The location is very convenient in terms of walking distance from train stations and city’s main plaza. Sadly the whole Brussels is a bit ran down, it doesn’t feel safe. The hotel makes their very best to keep you cosy once you’re inside, the neighbourhood is a bit unsettling and you need to be street smart to navigate it. But that’s the whole Brussels apparently not just around the hotel.

All but one members of staff have been very friendly, and kind. The breakfast was very nice; good variety of food options, both continental and British/American. The location of the hotel is very close to the Midi/Zuid station, only around 5-7 minutes walk, and around 15-20 minutes to the city centre. The room was very clean and modern.

I did not appreciate one of the hotel members of staff approaching me outside of the building and trying to scare me by saying I am going to get robbed. The way in which he spoke was very unprofessional. A subtle reminder to be mindful of pickpockets at reception would have been more appropriate. The area around the hotel is somewhat on the rougher side, and it is something to be mindful of when booking. Overall, I did not have concerns for my safety during the 1 week I stayed there but you may see some people arguing in the street as well as some homeless people in the vicinity of the hotel.

Nice and comfortable hotel in a convenient position, near the train station and 10 minutes walking from the city center. Large room and nicely furnished, however a bit more store space for clothes and luggages would be better. Beautiful bathroom with large shower and quality bath products.

The price is too high, considering that breakfast is not included. The room is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine (which is definitely appreciated), but it's not for free: two coffee capsules are free for the first day only, for the remaining days you have to pay them, while they could be offered with no effort within the high price for the room.
