I had booked the Oxford Inn but when I arrived they didn't have a ground floor room like I had requested and was confirmed. The front desk clerk was behind a bullet proof window and had a very thick Indian accent I could barely understand. He informed me there was no phone, no wifi, to tv and I'd have to pay cash since the computers were down due to the recent hurricane that hit much further south. I thought it was odd that the ATM worked but nothing else. He tried to offer me a downstairs room with 2 beds for a higher price but I declined and cancelled the reservation. I booked the Comfort Inn in the parking lot and it had a room for me and was even closer to where I wanted to be. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, no bugs, comfy bed, good a/c and quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Everything went smooth. The front desk went above and beyond to make sure our rooms were all next to each other as a family. It made our trip so much better

It needs bigger beds.

This was one of the BEST places I've stayed at and we spent 2 night's. The staff went above and beyond what I needed. Brandi was a life saver for me when she helped me print off documents I needed for my cruise. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were big. This will always be the place I stay from now on while traveling to Galveston.

Room 217 A/C didn’t blow cold. The room was just semi cleaned. Smashed Oreos on the floor on one side of the bed. Couldn’t see them since the carpet is dark. Drink rings on the nightstand on the same side of the Oreos. Not much of a breakfast. One of the main reasons we stayed here. I get the whole Covid-19 thing but don’t advertise that you have one if it’s scaled down or nothing at all.

The staff hotel employees are very kind,generous, outgoing,and make you feel right at home. All of them.

Pool was too cold so couldn’t enjoy it and construction on hwy near it hard to get back to hotel after visiting Galveston

The breakfast was great and location was good.

The carpet was dirty and not enough towels for a family of 4. The pool was also closed.
