We enjoyed staying in this hotel. The owners are friendly and communicative. The hotel's location is excellent. Centrally located. We had a room in the back which was very calm. We enjoyed the breakfast.

You have to know about the parking limitations...because the hotel is right in the center on a pedestrian street, parking can be an issue. However, the hotel provides ample information about parking. It's just something to be aware of ahead of time.

Room and bathroom had plenty of space. There was a chair, desk and mirror in the bedroom, so it was suitable for more than an overnight stop. Despite our room on 2nd floor overlooking the semi-pedestrianised main street it was quiet at night! (midweek at end of May) The secure storage for bikes was excellent, with electric charging points. Very good lift. The man on reception was very jovial and helpful. Location very handy for all activities/services in the town.

The hotel is an older building so the breakfast area was a little cramped, and not much room to spread a range of food items.

Very warm welcome by friendly and helpful couple, great location, spotlessly clean, room just about big enough, very comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, excellent breakfast selection, coffee was served personally (ie. Not a self-service machine) very good scrambled eggs (best I have tasted in a long time) quiet at night.

Didn’t particularly like the room fragrance so put it on top of the wardrobe to minimise aroma.

Hotel a bit 'old world' but charming. Large, comfortable quiet room with large bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Garage parking for our motorcycles a short walk from the hotel (parking for cars might be tricky?). Central location in really nice small town with bars/cafes/restaurants very near.

Breakfast seemed a bit expensive so we ate at a boulangerie nearby.

The hotel's location does present some challenges with regard to parking. It's best to know where to park before going to the hotel. Otherwise everything was good.

Super friendly staff, great room, fabulous location, and the icing on the cake for motorcyclists - the secure lockup garage. Would certainly recommend the Hotel des Alps and would make a point of staying there again if in the area.

Room a little small but no bother.

Very centrally located in Die, Hotel des Alpes is a former coaching inn with a small outside terrace protected from the sun by the surrounding buildings. We had a good breakfast there. There is a lift to the upper stories. There is considerable parking within 50 metres: Our room was a reasonable size with a spacious bathroom. There is a pharmacy just over the road and a laboratory that does Covid tests. Never having been fought over in the last few centuries, Die has some very quaint corners.

Partly because the city does not allow the placing of signs, it is difficult to reach the hotel navigating either by GPS or by the instructions on the hotel website. The former tells you to go down a street that is one way in the other direction and the latter tells you to follow a now nonexistent sign for the cathedral. Perhaps the hotel should focus on getting people as far as the large parking only 50 metres away. Our room had no airconditioning but did have a fan, important in the high temperatures this summer.

Hotel had underground parking which the owner kindly directed us to and unlocked. Breakfast was very good, cooked or continental. Hotel brilliantly placed to visit die. Owners were charming.

Room had a slightly strange smell

No Kettle in room

Room clean and beds comfortable. Friendly reception. Owner kindly drove us to the station when we left. Breakfast very good. Great central location. I have recommended this hotel to a few friends over the years and have stayed there numerous times myself.
