We liked our stay! The houses are very nice, directly over the water, each house is with its own terrace. Breakfast is delicious. People are very friendly. There was one restaurant opened in the area and we visited it every evening, the dinner was wonderful. Or you can take a boat for 1 USD and in 5 minutes you are on the main island where you can find everything - restaurants, supermarkets, tourist information. If we come to Bocas one more time, Faro del Colibri will be surely the first choice!

This is not a complaint but rather a suggestion: - a WC brush (birst) would be nice to have, a shoe mat in front of the door (cleaning is perfect, thank you stuff, but we could clean our shoes before entering the house so that we don't bring so much sand inside), and it would be helpful.to have one more shelf in the wardrobe. Of course there is one, but it is fully occupied by a huge safe, and as a result, there is no place for t- shirts, socks (not all people use hangers especially for a simple kind of clothes which is used on Bocas)

This is a super unique place sitting directly on the water. It’s very peaceful and the staff is so warm, friendly, and caring. It’s gorgeous you can literally jump into the water from your bungalow! The room had every amenity you need and hot showers. There are activity books as well as restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff is very accommodating for any activities and there is much to see in the area. It’s a very beautiful place!

Grateful for laundry service but was pretty hefty, other than that no complaints whatsoever!

Breakfast, location and view was excellent. The private deck was very nice to sit and read my book from. The staff were amazingly nice and cooked an awesome breakfast each morning with fresh fruit and fresh local eggs.

The maids could have left my Air Conditioner running as when I came back from my travels for the day it was hot in the room because the ac was turned off. The bed was pretty hard some might like this but I would like it softer. Internet connection speed was quite low only 5mb download and .5mb upload. I was able to sleep through the noise, but there was music going most nights and boats driving by often making noise, but if you choose to stay on the water it should be expected and for me not a big deal.

Very centrally located hotel. Nice little bungalows over the water. Rooms have everything you could need. cable tv, Wi-Fi , outside patio, air-condition, Private bathroom, small fridge. A stone's throw away from Bocas Town and Caranero beach. Various restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. Plenty of boats and water taxi's passing by so it is relatively easy to catch a ride. The breakfast area is very nice and breakfast itself was basic but very adequate and tasty. Friendly staff , who did not speak English, but that is luckily not an issue for us.

The hotel cannot arrange water taxi's for you. So you need to wave at the boats passing by hoping that they will stop for you. The room is very noisy due to the traffic of boats passing by and the noises of parties from Bocas town. This was the case two out of the three nights we stayed.

Dreamlike experience over the water! We have seen several giant stingrays, passing just under our bungalow 2 evenings out of 3 we had!! Just stay on the balcony wait and watch! That was amazing! The bungalows are very well maintained, of a good wooden quality, everything is Caribbean style bright and lovely. The shower worked perfectly. Adorable experience. Those who complain about boats - come on, it is a mode of transport on that island, apart from that the island is car-free and bikes-free, it is fully pedestrian, which we found very unique. We had earplugs and slept perfectly.

We wanted to spend more time there! Loved it!

Great room on the water with very friendly and accommodating owners and staff. An small issue with the air conditioning was quickly fixed and the cleaning service was very thorough.

The 2 floor suite could maybe use another A/C on the first floor but the fan and sliding door to the private deck kept it adequately cool. The second floor A/C was great and kept the whole floor cool.

The room was awesome! We had the very last hut. From our balcony/dock was a light shining in the water. We enjoyed to watch the fishes in the night. 3 ray's swam across!! The staff is really friendly and makes you feel welcomed!

The motor boats were really annoying!!! They bring the employed people to the main town around 7 am or party people away all night long. Earplugs highly recommended (we needed them)! They are passing by really close. During weekends or national holidays there will be noise coming from Bocas-town as well (music from the discos). So, if you looking for peace and no sounds, I can't recommend this place. Breakfast was okay. You can hear (and if you look under the pier, you can see it as well) the water from the sink and the shower going directly into the ocean. I don't know, if there is a filter or something in-between. Environmentally questionable!

The location was absolutely amazing. We had the last bungalow in the row so we were able to literally jump off our balcony into the water to swim. The staff was also incredible, the owner was quick to help in any way he could, which was really nice when our AC started leaking. And the woman who made breakfast was so lovely

It would have been nice to have a ladder or something to allow us to get out of the water right back onto our balcony. The AC was leaking, which isn’t anyone’s fault, but it wasn’t able to be fixed that day and we weren’t given the appropriate materials to handle the leak (we ended up putting an empty trash can under it), but again, that is nobody’s fault.

Location is a quick boat ride from the busy town. Good walking to beaches and great restaurants. Amazing views of Bocas Town and the out islands. Loved hanging out on the porch watching the fish, pelicans, and boats coming and going. Also, kayaks and paddle boards available for a reasonable price. Wonderful staff.

Decks would be nicer with shade and cushions for recliners.

Bungalow is located on a small quiet beach on Isla Carenero, a water taxi away from the hustle and bustle of Isla Colon. Nestled in the middle of a friendly neighbourhood of locals, and a short walk away from the few restaurants and bars on the island. Adriano and his staff are some of the nicest people you could meet in Bocas, When he's not busy in his office, you can find him during breakfast flipping omelettes for his guests :)

The occasional mosquitoes, but shouldn't be a problem if windows and doors are kept shut.
