The staff were very nice, the lobby and restaurant on site were air conditioned. The pool was nice. There were a few complimentary bottles of water in our room. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a pretty good selection. We had made to order omelettes. Other breakfast items included pastries, yoghurt, fruit, boiled eggs, beans, and a potato dish. Coffee and tea were also offered at breakfast and available in our room. We also ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The prices in the restaurant were very good. We also had some clothes washed and pressed. The prices are per item; however, the cost was very reasonable compared to other hotels we stayed in. We paid around $6 for 6-7 bottoms, 3-4 tops, 1 nightgown, 3 pairs of socks, and 3 undergarments. The hotel is right on the Nile, and the view was beautiful! There was a security guard and gate at the entrance of the property, which made us feel safe.

The hotel only accepts cash, and the ATM right outside the front door did not work for us. We tried 5 ATMs across the street before we found one that worked. The base of the shower was dirty.

Our room was HUGE. Great value. The view from our balcony of the Nile and the balloons rising at dawn was just AMAZING. we really loved this place. If you do stay here we HIGHLY RECOMMEND a walk across the road and go to your right - just a few paces up the road is ALADDIN's CAVE. You have to see this place. Saladin has EVERYTHING in this shop. The gentleman who cleaned our room each day was so nice, friendly, and went out of his way to be helpful. He made up some very clever animal figurines with our towels and left them on our bed each day. He didn't have to do that BUT you know it is the little things that count and we really appreciated it.

The only negative - there is no eftpos. We had to pay in cash only.

The staff in the restaurant were not friendly. They did not try and engage with us and were just stiff professionals. Rather disappointing as we were treated really well in a guesthouse in Aswan just before coming to Luxor. Also, couldn't work out if the staff were being racist with us because of our Asian ethnic background or if that is how they are. We decided to avoid the restaurant for meals and ate out inside. Lady (with hijab) at reception was great though!

It was there with my family and i was by far the best hotel we have been in our trip to Egypt.. Very clean and value for money for a 4 star hotel.

The only negative point i would say is that the swimming pool closes at 8pm.. after a long day of sightseeing at the valley of the kings and queens etc… you really need to relay in the pool but unfortunately that was not possible as it closes at 8pm. Also they do not have visa… so you cannot pay with your visa or master card, which is really strange for a 4 star hotel.

Fantastic Hotel with direct Nile view, very elegant style, clean & spacious rooms, close to City Center, to corniche and all historical monuments, and Tourist attractions. Many thanks to all teams : administration , reception , housekeeping , breakfast & restaurant. Special thanks to General Manager for his kindness & warm welcome. Egypt is the best country i had visited.

Lotus Luxor is quaintly nestled on the East Bank of the Nile River. If you choose the Nile View, you can wake up every morning to a view of this beautiful and iconic river. The hotel is modern, comfortable and safe. With that said, what impressed me the most is the staff. I have traveled to twenty five countries in my lifetime and I wholeheartedly believe that this was the best staff that I have encountered. Especially Mirriam. Mirriam and the rest of the staff go out of their way to ensure that you are comfortable, safe, not taken advantage of and most importantly that your Luxor experience is incredible. Kudos to Mirriam and the rest of this incredible staff.

Most of the Reception staff were amazing and really looked after me. Mariam, Mone and Mahmoud were fantastic Breakfast was nice and a good start to the day. The room was very nice with good facilities The pool area was lovely

Abdul on Reception was difficult and made asking questions difficult / I ended up avoiding reception when he was on. The breakfast dining room could do with some brightening up but staff and food is good The mattress did feel like sleeping on a slab of concrete and I did leave with back pain. housekeeping staff entered my room even though I had the Do Not Disturb on my door on the last day to tell me I had to leave - two hours before the arranged checkout🤬

Huge room, king size bed (w/ soft sheets), shower was big w/ good pressure/ hot water. 2 beautiful balconies that faced the Nile river. The outside pool was clean, lots of umbrellas, friendly staff to provide towels and you can buy soft drinks. Highly recommend.

You have to pay in cash (they have a ATM right outside the lobby) no fees as it is a Muslim bank.
