It was super safe. You had to have a key card to even get near the rooms. Plenty of parking. IHOP was next door and we got 10% off with our room number.

We had an issue with our tub on our second morning. I went to go run a bath and noticed there was water in it already. But I also had my overnight bag sitting in there. Everything got soaked and water logged. My shoes were in the bottom! It was a hot mess. Called the front desk, manager was there in minutes. She was awesome. She got us moved to a new room, and helped us move. She even knocked 50% off of our second night. That wasn’t necessary, but extremely helpful. Just a wonderful experience all around.

The hotel is located next to the highway and has easy parking access. I had to work at Palo Alto (Stanford University) and every day I was walking around 12 minutes to get to the railway station to get the train (10 minutes to Palo Alto). It was very convenient for me. I had a quiet room and had no issues with noise etc. The room was big enough, two double beds and a small office to work. Hot water was available at all times and bathroom's size was OK. Furnishing, decoration etc. was decent although a bit outdated. There was no closet and someone may find this as a problem. About cleaning I can't say many things. Every day they were changing the towels, not always the trash bins and the room was cleaned once in a week. I didn't have a problem since I was out of the room most time of the day but someone can have an issue with it. Overall my staying was satisfactory and the price was very good compare to the amenities but also to the prices of adequate places to stay.

Very clean and somewhat updated rooms make this a great value choice close to the heart of Redwood City. The front desk is great. The rooms are not smelly for an older hotel and have enough space. They are medium sized rooms, and even provide a small basic coffee maker and two coffees. The lobby also provides coffee.

The noise of the freeway is a bit of a bother, it is the worst thing about the location of the property and most of the rooms.

Staff could be more friendly. Blankets could have been more comfy. Towels could have been thicker.. Was not advised if the property had an ice machine for guest use. Was only told about what I had to pay if I broke anything in the room .I found the last part as very unfriendly and unprofessional. More training on how to deliver information in a tactful way. No cupboards to hang my shirts and coat. Hangers were out in the open.

During my first trip to the United States, I booked a room at this hotel using booking.com. It was a really nice experience because the staff were super friendly and helpful. I want to give a special shoutout to Donald J, who helped me a lot during my stay. He helped me get groceries, find food, and even gave me rides to my campus. It made me feel like I was at home even though I was in a new place. I also want to mention Mary, another staff member who was really nice and made my stay better. The rooms were really clean, and the service was great. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. Especially if it's your first time visiting the U.S., this hotel is a great place to start getting used to life here.

Great hotel property if you are on a budget. Its price is great for its value, offering affordable accommodations without compromising quality. The rooms are clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere for guests to relax in. Additionally, the hotel amenities such as a pool and fitness center add extra value to the overall experience. Very few good options for food.

The value for price was great. It had a good pool view. It was in a silent environment. There were good places to travel near hotel (Beautiful redwood). There was a restaurant near the hotel and they had discounts for this hotel. Stuff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean. There wasn’t a hair dryer, I just asked for it and they provided ASAP. Everything was provided that they promoted.

On my third day the room service refreshed the towels but sink wasn’t cleaned (I didn’t ask for it though).

Hotel is 1,5 km from Redwood Caltrain station, in walking distance. Next to the hotel is IHOP with amaznig breakfasts. On the other side is Pizza Hut, Chick-fil-A and a few places where you can buy food, so it was very good. Accomodation itself is very clean and it has everything you can imagine like coffee machine, iron, hairdryer, etc. Hotel has machine for beverages and snacks. The people at reception desk were nice and helpful. The pool looks good as well. Bed was comfortable and the room has powerful air conditioning. I was extremely satisfied and recommand this accomodation. And for people who has a car it is 10/10.

We spent the night here after coming in late into SFO. Super easy to find, just off the freeway, but quiet. Beds were very comfortable - I remember thinking good nite sleep indeed. Easy checkin, nice hot water, good shower, room was plenty big for us and our luggage - some rooms are a little tight. Would definitely do again.

I recently stayed at the Good Nite Redwood 2-star hotel and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I appreciated that I could leave my belongings in the room and feel safe about it, as security seemed to be taken seriously. One aspect of the hotel that I appreciated was its quietness. I'm a light sleeper, so I was concerned that noise would be an issue, but I didn't have any trouble sleeping during my stay. Additionally, the staff was accommodating. They were always available to answer any questions or help with any concerns. I must give a big thanks to the lady at the front desk that has the night shift. She was very nice. Overall, I highly recommend the Good Nite Redwood 2-star hotel to anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay. The clean rooms, quiet atmosphere, and helpful staff made for a pleasant experience, and I would consider staying here again.

One slight improvement that could be made is to replenish the coffee station more often, especially for guests staying for extended periods. But this is a personal preference, the hotel is great!
