Olivier was a superb host, fantastic evening meal after arrival, fixed "menu" of superb local cuisine (if opting for evening meal on arrival it would be a good idea to forwarn Olivier of any dietary requirements). Breakfast was exceptional, all guests gathered around the dining table which was very sociable and really enjoyable. The house has a lovely feel to it. Excellent private car park behind the house. Would certainly stay again. We were only there for one night stopping off en-route to the south-west and didn't sample the spa facility - but a French couple staying there told us it was excellent.

No signage, in a very narrow one-way street, drove around three times before getting out of the car on the third circuit to explore. Once found, all was great. It is actually located immediately after the old bridge on the left side of the (Vieux Pont) road. Proximity to the stream meant Mosquitos, lots of them, take repellant with you (we didn't).

Fabulously renovated old house, with a beautiful garden in a peaceful village setting.We loved our stay here even though it was only for one night. The house has been brought back to life with much love and a lot of creative style to a very high standard. Our room was spacious, had a view of the pretty garden, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent and the space well thought out. There was a private car park behind the house and we enjoyed using the jacuzzi. Olivier cooked us a fantastic dinner ( better than some of the restaurants we have eaten at) and breakfast was also excellent with fresh fruit, pastries and home made yogurt. Olivier was utterly charming and very helpfully recommended us some excellent places to visit locally. We thought the pictures looked lovely when we booked but it is so much better when you visit. We hope to be back.

Just watch out for Millie the cat… she fast with her claws if she doesn’t like the way you stroke her when she is lying down! ( but she is super cute otherwise)

A fabulous place to stay. The food was outstanding and very well presented. The room was a generous size. The bed was super comfortable. The gardens were well kept. Olivier was a great host, chef and a very likeable guy.

Wish we could have stayed another night or two and explored the area a bit more.

Stunning home and garden in a quiet but well serviced town. The rooms were thoughtfully furnished and very tastefully decorated . The dining room and gardens were relaxing and welcoming. Food and host were first class

Nice room, with AC perfect on hot days. Comfy bed. Very good breakfast and also very good 'table d'hotes' on the evening. Warm welcome and very dog friendly. And available parking.

We stayed one night in June on our way back to the UK and enjoyed it so much that we returned for a longer stay to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Oliver made us very welcome and the evening meals were so good we ate there for 2 of the 3 nights. Can’t say enough good things about Oliver and La Tillaie. He made us very welcome including our dog as this was a key factor in returning as a number of places say dog friendly when in fact they aren't.

Everything was great, Olivier was able to accommodate us providing with vegetarian dinner at last minute. The little garden is lovely, the room was nicely decorated, comfortable, and fully equipped. Nice plus to be able to relax in the Spa after 6 hours of biking. Olivier was very helpful and make us feel like home, I highly recommend Olivier's place even for a longer stay than us (that felt way too short). Merci Olivier!

The breakfast was amazing. Oliver was happy to supply more if we required. The room was large and very comfortable with a great bathroom and amazing views over the fantastic garden. We chose the optional evening meal which was superb plus a great selection of wine. Would definitely recommend.

A little gem. Olivier and Christophe are wonderful hosts. So accommodating ... We arrived much much later than expected, Olivier rearranged my amazing massage so that I was able to relax before being served a delicious meal, made with some home grown produce. The latter being served in a cozy dining room where logs were burning on the fire. Our dog was made more than welcome. The bedroom and bed were extremely comfy and too much breakfast for us to eat! Well worth a visit ... Use the masseuse, she is excellent.

Nice room and helpful owner. Great interior design and smart and super clean, spacious room. Great en-suite. We were also extremely grateful to the owner for a very good early breakfast (07:15) as we had an early start to get to Dieppe. We had had a very bad stay/experience on the way down through France at nearby Crazannes, but this was a lovely stop at La Tillaie. Fully recommend to anybody.

Very minor but we were unsure of the main entrance/parking location. Turned out to be at the side down a small lane. Prob would help to have a sign at the garden door, which has a bell.
