Our one night stay at the Bus Collective was almost perfect. I had previously had excellent comminucation with staff at the resort, particularly with a member staff named Edison, who was very helpful. Our flight was scheduled to land after midnight, and I was worried that we would not be able to gain entry so late. However, I was reassured someone would be available on the front desk 24/7. This was not the case. The place was closed. Our taxi driver tried ringing, but there was no answer for quite some time. Luckily we received a response from a member of staff who appeared to have just been woken up. Communication was difficult. We could not understand us. He insisted I pay cash, even though I had agreed earlier to pay card ( and did not have enough local currency on me) The location is near the airport, but not within walking distance. It is based in Changi Village. There is an outdoor bar on site, which is open early in the morning. There's a Hawker Centre next door where you can buy allsorts including cheap food. It is a short walk to the river nad the beach. A bus stop outside the reception. Day staff were helpful and offered to book a taxi. Tip: download the Grab app ( like Uber). The bus was tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was the most comfortable we'd had on our trip.

We tried eating outside at the benches, but there were just too many flies it was impossible to eat peacefully. the bus beside us had a bbq going on, and once they left, a flock of crows came to eat the leftovers and were noisy till the morning. So i would recommend just to eat at the hawker centre.

I loved the concept of turning decommissioned busses into a hotel! Something unique and fun compared to normal hotel rooms. Loved how the rooms were done up, so cozy and practical.

My husband and I felt that the floors could have been cleaner. It felt like there was a layer of something over the floor that made it sticky.

Complete. Well facilitated in a bus. Interesting and fresh concept of a staycation. Well located to hawker ctr, shops and beach. Allow up to six guests and can borrow chairs from the checkin office. Also can borrow umbrella. Bbq pit is always clean by the next morning. Staff is super friendly.

It is far from the rest of the island. Carpark is expensive if you drive there. On the expensive side. But if don’t look at the cost, it is a relaxing location. Side gates of property needs auto close, guests don’t close gates-compromise the safety of guests especially at night. Also locks from side gates need to be removed, as I encountered a locked gate when I come back from outdoors.

i like the fact that i dont need to go far for the experience of staying in a bus. my kids totally enjoyed themselves during the stay, from the BBQ to plane sightings. the bus driver seat itself was so popular that my kids often fight for it! 🤣 i definitely love the stay, definitely recommend to those who seek a quiet place to recover. The plane noise was bearable as well for our sleep. Service definitely was exceptional. Check-ins/ check-outs was a breeze as well. Now, my kids are bugging me for another stay!

the mozzies! definitely need those mosquito coils for outside while BBQ-ing & insect repellants. otherwise everything else is topnotch.

This is not the usual hotel, I see it more like glamorous camping where you have a nice bed, proper shower & toilet, extra bath tub for the kids, and being in a bus is quite special. Bring everything you need for BBQ but you need side dishes, Changi Food Village is next door! We were able to explore the beach, do cycling and jogging which is really pleasant Towels and bedsheet change daily, which is a good thing for us with kids Adaptor with multi ports is provided on bedside, very convenient.

Room cleaning was super late. We went out 11am to 3.30pm but the room still not cleaned. After checking with the staff they said it will be done after other rooms are done for new guests to check in. Not very acceptable excuse in my opinion. Secondly, no slippers! This alone can make the room dirty. And vaccum alone won't be enough. If you don't offer slippers then the floor should be mopped & sanitized

There are some leaking in the toilet and a bit smelly so we went to get a air refresher. The patio light spoilt so it's very dark at night. We got a family room for 4 pax but they only provide 2 drinking cups in the room. When we requested for 2 more the reply was it's standard for all rooms..... The bunker bed is very badly designed and dangerous. No proper safety guard on the higher bunk. The ladder very badly designed too.

This is a really quirky and fun place to stay if you are just looking for something close to the airport. We had one night in Tokyo and an early morning flight so this was a great option for us. It was extremely well priced, and the bus was perfectly large enough for three people. It is right next to the hawker center, so very fun to go over there and explore for dinner. I would absolutely stay again if I'm looking for Budget accommodations near the airport.

Lovely little place. Very nicely converted large buses made for modern comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Lovely walks and quiet naighbourhood, nice eating places nearby if you don't want to go into town.

Check-in and check-out are within certain hours, so you will need to communicate ahead of time if possible.

Firstly, the customer sevice👍 Second, the staff are friendly👍 Third, the room is exceed of what i expected👍 Forth, my son all are Very Happy and my Birthday Boy are most very very Happy as he is really interested in Bus. Its a birthday surprise for him👍 Fifth, my family members are all Happy and satisfy👍 And last is the BBQ, its like a unique place rather than normal Chalet👍 Will come back again for my kids👍👍👍
