Location was excellent and very practical for me, since I arrived by car and the hotel has parking spots right in front of it. Extremely close to two very big shopping malls, with several possibilities to shop and eat, including supermarkets. Also close to the old historical center, just a short and easy walk (about 15-20min). Breakfast was also very good, with more than enough options for a good start in the day.

Nothing at all, but just a remark that my GPS was a bit confused with the address, so I did a few rounds before getting in touch with the Hotel and being then successfully directed to it. Maybe ask for more details in advance, if you'll be arriving by car.

Large room and bed. Quiet room but our room. Layers of security to enter property. Breakfast buffet adequate. Great value for the money. Close to bus station, shopping mall and taxi lane.

The ceiling windows did not have shades so adjacent higher floors could look into the bedroom and no way to keep sun out. There were controls to the non-existent blinds on an adjacent wall. Room was too warm to sleep when we arrived. There wasn't room for me to eat breakfast inside and it was freezing in the outside eating area. Limited lighting on the sidewalk leading up the the entrance door. Informed management of late arrival and were given room directly above breakfast area so heard chair movement at 7am after arriving after 11pm. Would have preferred room away from morning noise.

We stay at the hotel the second time and will probably stay there again if we visit Bratislava. Because the location is perfect, the hotel is very clean, and the staff is welcoming. I'm not a breakfast person, but I think the variety of breakfast food is good. Hotel staff is leaving at 5 pm, so there is no one at the reception, and the main door is closed, but you get the code to access the gate and the side door. Make sure you check the code with reception because the code is being changed every day. Overall, I'm satisfied with this place and would recommend it to anyone who travels to Bratislava.

Garni Hotel Dock is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for a clean, stylish and practical hotel right by Bratislava’s main bus station. It was perfect for my overnight stay, seeing as I arrived in the evening from Košice, and had a bus to catch the next morning. The hotel is decked out in contemporary wooden designs, with pleasing minimalistic touches throughout, and my room was large, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast the next day was decent, with a variety of continental European offerings, and set me up for my day of travel ahead! I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a competitively priced hotel in a convenient location in Bratislava.

There was no air conditioning in my room, or at least if there was I couldn’t find it, and so it did get warm overnight seeing as I was visiting in the summer. I couldn’t locate a fan either.

We recently had the pleasure of staying for two days at this wonderful property, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. We booked three rooms for our group of six, and each room was a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect, making us feel welcomed and valued. The cleanliness of the hotel deserves a special mention – it was impeccable! Every corner, every surface was spotless, earning a well-deserved 10 out of 10 from us. It's rare to find such attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness. But what truly set this experience apart was the extraordinary kindness shown by the owner. In the rush of our departure, I accidentally left behind a blouse in our room. Not only did the staff find it, but the owner personally came after us to return it. This level of care and personal attention is rare and truly appreciated. From the warm welcome to the fond farewell, every moment of our stay was perfect. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and look forward to our next visit. Thank you for an unforgettable experience and for showing such remarkable hospitality!

Very nice staff, really very kind and great to talk to, good size rooms, comfortable. Great breakfast. In good spot of the town. Public transport just around the corner. Walking distance through nice neighbourhood to the river. Rooms nicely cleaned (I had a little mess around my shower drain but nothing major and overall the room was really clean), nice sheets, good mattrace. In general I really enjoyed the stay and the hotel is definitely one of the better ones, for reasonable price.

The hotel is hidden in between two larger buildings, rooms in one side of the hotel have very low light. The walls between rooms are exceptionally thin. I was laying in bed watching telly and still heard my neighbour brush his teeth and floss. Every phone message ping from a neighbour room was heard as if his mobile was lying on my nightstand. It is to be expected when staying in hotels, still it is important to know/realize.

Amazing place, clean, modern & with integrated technology for easy access, but in the room with a feeling of a mountain resort which I love it. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is tasty and sufficient from my point of view. I have chosen this place for it’s location, being a business traveller and office was very close. Otherwise the area is great with a lot of restaurants and bars but also Nivy shopping center across the street. For sure I will choose again this hotel when in Bratislava.

Nothing to complain.

This is a modern, clean, and quiet hotel very close to Nivy Mall. Lots of public transport options nearby. It felt a bit like a hostel as many young people were staying there at the time, and hung out together in the reception/breakfast area. But private rooms were quiet and staff were very friendly. And breakfast was great. It's a good option for visitors on a budget.

It can be a little tricky to find, and the main door is locked at night so you need to use a side entrance, (which is not accessible for persons with mobility limitations).

This small hotel is conveniently located just outside Bratislava's old town and business district, just a few steps away from a big and modern shopping center (Nivy) with integrated bus station (frequent buses to Vienna Airport), shops and cafes. Reception working until 17:00, but clear access instructions (gate code, key location, contact phone) provided beforehand. Spacious, cosy (1st floor) room (TV, WiFi, fridge), with clean bathroom. Quiet location (good sleep), walking distance (15-20 minutes) to Danube and the old town. Abundant, variable breakfast with good coffee.

Coffee/snack vending machine would recompensate lack of restaurant or bar. Also, no staffing overnight makes impossible to complain against loud co-guests.

Here are my main highlights of my 6 night stay at the Hotel Garni Dock in Bratislava. When booking a hotel, the most important aspects I consider are cleanliness and the location. That being said, read below: - The hotel is at a perfect location and I feel like it should be commented on a bit more. The hotel is right next to the brand new Bratislava bus terminal, so if you come in from Vienna airport by bus (or anywhere else) you just have to cross the street once out. The new station is actually underground and above it sits a brand new 3 storey mall with a rooftop garden and great views over the city. It is a 10-15 minute scenic walk to the historic centre with great bus connections. The danube and the Euronova mall and leisure broadwalk are even closer. - The hotel is very very clean, the room was spotless and very spacious. My room was located under the roof with automatic blonds and windows. Despite a week long heatwave, the room was cool and fresh. - The wifi is great. I was there for work and needed it a lot for zoom meetings etc. - Breakfast; Family owner hotel actually with lovely staff, both the manager Dušan and his coworker at the breakfast. The hotel is human sized and it was lovely to have hotel outside. - I am vegetarian and the breakfast featured many options despite some of the reviews claiming it was very limited. They had vegan tofu spreads, all kinds of jams. They actually make the bread themselves and they have typical slovak bakery goods as well as hot and cold breakfast options. Absolutely nothing to complain about, and I was there a week! - The staff is very friendly and reasonable when it comes to special requests, provided it is within their power to do so. I had requested for my partner to join two of the nights, I let them know in advance and it was no issue at all and we were welcomed warmly by the hotel manager.
