A beautiful hotel with fabulous staff! The Marrol's staff were so attentive and welcoming (especially David on our check in and check out was very helpful with everything we needed and all our questions) The hotel is beautifully appointed and feels so charming and elegant! The inclusions we had in our room were generous and the hotel restaurant is also great to eat at too. We will definitely be back for our next stay in Bratislava!

Nothing, our stay was great! My only constructive feedback would be that the mattress is due for an upgrade soon

Fair value for a fair price! The atmosphere at the place made me feel concentrated on my trip but still provided a chance to relax. Big thanks to David, for showing hospitality.

I am sad that I did not have a chance to use a laundry service as it takes 2 days for processing, and I asked for that on my last day. But it is not a real facility problem. Also, the spa option does not make sense for one person with a price of 90 euros for 6 persons, so did not try

The hotel was a little jewel in the middle of Bratislava. From the perfect location to the attentive and friendly staff, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The facilities were modern and well-maintained, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great start to each day. I am someone who usually finds things that could be improved wherever I go, but for this place, I have no complaints at all. It truly deserves a 10-star rating! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bratislava!

The only thing I would suggest for improvement is the breakfast. It wasn't an issue of variety, but some of the hot dishes, such as bacon and eggs, were missing and needed to be replenished. As a result, I ended up not having any hot food, and the toaster took a long time to toast the bread.

It’s an elegant and stylish hotel with a lovely ambiance. David at the front desk was superbly helpful and efficient, impressively professional and simply the best front desk man I’ve ever experienced in the world! The room was quiet and a good size. The staff, apart from my restaurant experience, are efficient and notably professional. I asked for an ironing board and it was delivered so efficiently. I asked for help with the shower and the lady came right away. I greatly appreciate such efficient service. Guests please note that you take Tram 1 to and from the train station to the hotel. I wish I’d know this.

The breakfast restaurant service wasn’t attentive. No one seated or greeted me or provided me with eating utensils or cleared the dirty plates from my table. I don’t like to be surrounded by dirty plates and have to scout for utensils.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the city centre. The location is perfect, and the staff at the reception ( czech speaking guy) was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, making for a relaxing experience. I especially appreciated the L’Occitane cosmetics in the bathroom – such a lovely touch! Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and great service.

The breakfast selection was nice overall, but I experienced a bit of disappointment during the rush hour. It was quite crowded, and some items like scrambled eggs and fruit were missing at times. However, the variety of food available was good.

I have stayed at Marrol's many times, since they opened in 2003. It is an excellent hotel in an excellent location. The staff are obviously well-trained, helpful, willing and very polite. It is easy to walk to any part of the city from the hotel. The Old Town and the new shopping and restaurant area are within a 5 minute walk. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is good quality and varied. I didn't use the Jasmine Spa this time, but I have on previous occasions. It's quite a special experience with friends or family.

If I have to make a criticism, it would be only regarding this one occasion. I had a single room this time, whereas I have always had double rooms or the family suite on previous occasions. The single room was just that, quite small, and for some reason it was really warm. I turned the thermostat down for the air conditioning, but the temperature only fell to 22 degrees, which was still too warm for a good night's sleep. Apart from that, everything was at Marrol's usual high standard.

Kudos to the doorman, such a nice and helpful fellow. We really enjoyed chatting with him, as a fellow ex-pat. Breakfast was great, room was great with staff ready to help with a water leak (they gave us a bottle of wine for the trouble, which really was no trouble). Good location, and luckily the flood waters never got to us. We were quite near the Danube which was terrifyingly over-full! We never had dinner at the restaurant so I can't comment. Our double room had its own private patio!

All good. Luckily they had a garage underneath the hotel, a little pricey, but I understand. A tight fit for our Ford pickup truck.

This place is amazing: clean, nice staff ( special mention to Andreas) very polite, room are impeccable (kiddos go the cleaning ladies, fantastic work thank you). Marrol’s is top notch. The breakfast is amazing too.. once you enter the hotel, it’s like being in the 50s. We privatised the spa and let me tell you that it’s the best 90€ that we spent during our summer. They prepared a large fruits plate, agrumes water.. the spa is like being in Roman Empire.

No mini bar in the room :)

Perfect location for exploring the city. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. The premises are so pretty and the room was well decorated with thoughtful touches. The room was very cute. A good size with plenty of space to move around. There was a chess board coffee table which was a fun addition. The bathroom was spacious with all the amenities you’d expect. The Houdini restaurant was amazing. I loved the food and the wine was delicious.

The bed was a little creaky when I moved around. But I slept very well whilst there

As a matter of fact I wanted to explore Bratislava but then get caught in my hotel room for 48 hrs to fix some business issues. Which means I had a lot of time in the hotel. Breakfast was okay - nothing special but served from a very friendly staff. But sitting in a salon/bar with a business partner took me a while to get drinks, although we were the only guests and a barkeeper kept himself busy with other things. Room service was top and the quality of served food as well. Check in/check out was professional friendly but nothing more - could be improved by a hotel that does not belong to a chain.....was not even asked,if I enjoyed my stay!
