The fitness center is very simple, but has the essentials that you need for a quick overall workout. The wellness area is really nice, especially the outdoor area during winter. To use the saunas you need to adjust to the local customs, but it is totally worth it. The surrounding late and area is beautiful and really nice. Totally worth the visit. The rooms are clean, and nice, but could be upgraded a little. The breakfast is nice.

The hotel is a little outdated, and needs a little of renovation. The comfort of the beds, and pillows were average. For the money you pay it should be a better quality. The restaurants food options were ok, and nothing special. I would recommend to go eat in the near by restaurants, just be aware of the timings as slovakians like to eat very early for dinner.

The hotel is perfectly located! Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view of the mountains. The breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options to choose from, including vegetarian and even some vegan options. The coffee was great, too. We enjoyed the wellness, especially the sauna outside, even though it can get busy during peak hours. It's nice to see that the hotel gradually invests in refurbishing the space (new shower with good pressure, a new fitnes/gym centre, to name a few examples). Finally, we loved that it was dog friendly.

The hotel has a bit of an old-school look and feel, and could definitely do with some further renovations/refurbishing (e.g., the carpets, paintings, decor overall). There was a really bad smell from the shower drainage every morning, and we spotted several stains on the carpets, both in the room and common areas. The wellness centre is big and offers various options, but again, you can tell it has its age and could be improved (not everything worked 100% well).

Kids in the 'silent part of the spa', where children under 16 are not allowed. It's really sad that staff doesn't react to that anymore. It was one of the biggest advantages, that there was a part of spa for kids and there was a part for adults, where one could really relax in silence. I am really sorry it has changed, now it's more like aquapark than spa:(

Mostly everything. We knew this hotel from 40 years ago when my grandparents stayed there. It was a fancy hotel back then and although it aged, they managed to revamp it in a way that it is a very good value for money. The wellness section has so much variety we could spend the whole day there. Room is spacious and comfortable. Other facilities like kids club and bowling are great addition for families with kids. Location is fantastic, all the main hiking routes pass by the hotel, we didn't even take the car out most days.

I could have done with an electric water kettle and/or coffee machine in the room. Also the whole outdoor area for the wellness is reserved for adults, it would have been nice if the outdoor jakuzzi at least could have been used by kids. I felt bad keeping the kids indoor in such beautiful weather. Buffet breakfast has decent variety although not many items change from day to day, something which we would have enjoyed during our 5 day stay.

The room and the location of the hotel were wonderful; I had a chance to show my girlfriend High Tatras for the first time and thanks to the hotel she loved it. We did not have a chance to use lots of hotel facilities, but we greatly appreciated parking and breakfast being included in the price.

Some parts of the hotel seem like they are awaiting renovation, so they were less cozy and comfortable.

Breakfast was very varied and fresh. There were lots of homemade cakes and pastries. The restaurant is spacious with a nice view of the lake. The room was large, bed comfortable, bathroom great, quality solutions and materials. The spa is exceptional, many steam rooms and saunas, outdoor, indoor facilities, jacuzzis, pools, lounges, the whole area is spacious, no crowds. For those interested in skiing, the lifts are a few minutes walk away.

The breakfast buffet had no labels next to the food, so sometimes you had to guess.

We stayed in the hotel only for 1 night as the price might be a bit steep, but it was a nice experience. We were unexpectedly given a better room, which never happened to us and it was a kind gesture which was appreciated. If you want to stay only for a short time, I would recommend paying a bit more to get a room overlooking the lake as it is in most cases the reason why people stay exactly here. Even though we had the deluxe room, it is not exceptional, it is your standard hotel room. It was spacious enough, it was clean and had comfortable beds. The wellness area was much bigger than we expected. It included multiple saunas, pools, etc. The breakfast offered variety of salty and sweet food and we were very surprised by the 'live cooking' and serving style of the breakfast chef - I must admit it added a bit of luxurious feeling to our stay.

Cannot say anything bad. The only thing is the higher price and the full parking lot when we arrived.

Lovely staff with flexible check-in/out times, which was greatly appreciated. Amazing location right on the lake & walking access to many amazing hikes in the area. Free on-site parking. Great complimentary wellness center with saunas, steam rooms, and jacuzzis. Yummy breakfast and late-night lobby bar for a nightcap. Felt like staying in a large wood cabin with modern features - would recommend it! Strong enough wifi for working (20ish mbps) but it did drop a handful of times in the room but nothing that was concerning. Lastly, the nearby restaurant they own on the lake was a highlight - great food and live music almost every night!

The wifi was a little unstable in the room but 90% of the time it was excellent and if needed we just worked in the lobby. During a holiday weekend there were so many kids around...don't get me wrong, I love that it is a kid-friendly hotel but as a couple without children it got a bit distracting, even in the wellness center it was hard to fully relax at times. Fitness room was really basic - but no need to use it with all the wonderful hikes!

What a fabulous hotel with stunning views from each side of the building. The facilities were new although the shower kept falling off. The hotel is great - it was just like the holiday brochure we had from 1989! The food for breakfast and dinner was great and the walk round the lake lovely. It did feel like the best hotel I’ve stayed in given its location and design.

Great location next to the start of many hiking trails and great views from the room. Excellent breakfast choices. Staff was very fourthcoming when it was needed to change booked dates at the last minute. In the room it was very quiet as we could not hear the neibghours. And the option to use the swimming pool after the hike to the Rysy was excatly what was needed.

No air conditiong in the room, but it was remedied with the mountain air.
