The chalet was absolutely lovely and especially the jacuzzi was perfect. Everything was provided .

Hotel should have informed us of renovations that where going on. Bit of inconvenience.

Cnstruction is currently taking place, wont allow you to connect to other devices than your phone, Check in is at 3pm with no flexibility - most places allow an earlier check in. inflatablee water park looked dirty and dated and nothing like the video being much smaller in reality, plus there are additional charges for kids facilities where most resorts have it for free.

Delightful surprise. So well laid out and excellent maintenance. Clean and the views and facilities were amazing. Loved the drive to the dam. The supper was lovely. Excellent food and service. The view was breathtaking, too beautiful.

On arrival no tea or coffee available in the unit and when it was requested there was a shortage of milk. No phone contact with reception.

the restaurant is a big disappointment. The menu is limited, understaffed, minimum waiting time for the food is 1hour even if there are only two tables being served. the food is not tasty at all, they prepare them they way they want/know not according to your request. they don’t have a chef but it is just a general worker trying their best.

The place is beautiful and clean

The road leading to Cayley is horrible especially with a small car, the restaurant is bad with limited options and the food is almost tasteless, they have nothing not even a simple chicken, please stop saying your breakfast is a buffet because that's not the case instead you are embarrassing your staff coz we were forced to ask them do you guys know what is a buffet? We were then forced to use your horrible road coz we had to go out to get some proper food from the nearby restaurants, your mushroom sauce had zero taste.

The weather was not good during our baecation. It was cloudy and / or raining.We liked the fact that there was a jacuzzi in our room, so we took advantage of the Jaccuzi. The cleaning service that is provided daily on the rooms is much appreciated. We never ran short of anything in the room. It was our first time riding the quadbikes, and the gentleman who guided us was too friendly and patient . He even took pictures and videos while we were enjoying the ride. We didn't inform the staff of Cayley logde that it was our anniversary, but they made sure that we received our gift the following day. We also went for chocolate tasting at Drakensburg chocolate memerios. We really enjoyed the spa on our last day.

Beautifully appointed villa, thoughtful and high quality fixtures and fittings, shed loads of things to do and stunning views over the entire Champagne Valley as so high up. Plunge pool a real bonus.

The temporary restaurant and shop were well below standard - a makeshift hut with canteen style tables- and unacceptable poor quality food. The entire central facilities - reception restaurant, shops and games’ areas are currently being totally renovated and should only be completed by the beginning of December 24. We were not forewarned of these extensive works. The advertised menus on their website has been considerably reduced and the quality of food was poor. Fortunately we brought enough food to use the excellent self- catering facilities and abandoned the plan to have a special dinner for our son’s birthday.

Truly horrible road leading up to the resort in terrible condition. No aircon in the room, just a fan. The lady at the front desk is terrible, rude and arrogant. Also forgot to load my wifi username so I had to come back and she was totally unapologetic. Shocking that she is the first and main point of contact for guests. She would put me off returning again. No responses to my emailed queries about late checkout (which they charged me for even though it was only an hour) nor about the bed. Spa was closed early for no reason ahead of advertised closing time so could not make a booking for the next morning.

Beautiful location and setup. Whilst the road to the lodge is damaged,it is drivable and filled with sand which makes it better. Check-in was a pleasure.The accommodation is pristine and was pleasantly surprised the splash pool was heated. The WiFi speed is good enough. Backup power kicks in during certain slots so plan accordingly. The beauty spa was very good. The quad biking was good, although for a 1hr tour,it gets repetitive. The beach area is amazing.

The walking trail to the dam is not in the best condition and there's overgrown grass on the trail making it slippery at times. This can be improved.
