Amazing part of the world; the drive there wasn't a problem. The team were in constant communication from midday to check when we will be arriving and if we would be having dinner at the lodge. We arrived in the evening and Check in was a breeze. We really enjoyed the dinner; I highly recommend eating there. The same with breakfast; we had an amazing buffet breakfast; compliments to the chefs. The lodge is well kept with a nice balcony overlooking the mountains.

Nothing to report to be honest

The stay was fantastic...on a dream location in a magnificent building. Ryan and Princess were super kind, such great people. Taking a swim in the infinity pool during sunset. Price/quality of the food & wine is really good. Diner was fantastic... Personal approach once we were there. Good tips from the manager/the warm welcome of Princess

First that we had to leave after only two nights. Second some minor details: dusty behind the bed, a pool towel the first day that was a bit smelly and the second day it was a bit dirty. But... what disturbed/annoyed me the most was that they work with a third company to handle the payments/indemnity. These people were pushy/importunate. Asking to provide credit card details thru websites I've never heard of. Furthermore, they lacked professionalism (forgetting stuff, asking things twice). This company would be the only reason for me not to book this stay again.

Breakfast was 5 star and setting was excellent. The decor is stylish with several lounges to relax in. The beautiful royal sets of fine tea cups in rooms was something never seen before. The infinity pool and beautifully kept gardens added to the overall experience of tranquility.

I missed a bottle of fresh water in the bedroom and a white cotton gown, I do believe that its not normally supplied but unfortunately I missed out,

The owners are always present and make sure you are well looked after. The breakfast and dinner were delicious! The Lodge is tucked away in a quiet corner of the Champagne Valley with beautiful views of Cathkin Peak.

They have beautiful antique furniture, which I must add gives the lodge a lot of character, but perhaps too many pieces in the room we stayed in which makes it a bit crowded.

Honestly can’t think of anything major that I didn’t like, I suppose some people would prefer it if they had wifi for guests, but I also think they might be a conscious choice to keep guests more in the moment, instead of on their phones & laptops

During my recent stay at a Inkungu lodge with breathtaking mountain views, the exceptional hospitality from attentive hosts and friendly staff truly made my experience unforgettable. You could not wish for a better location .. looking onto Champagne Castle .. the Drakensberg Boys Choir school is 5 klm away .. they normally have a concert on a Wednesday Afternoon... 3.30 pm .. we also went to the Falcon Ridge bird of Prey Rehabilitation centre .. well worth avisit 😊🦅

The location for our purposes was ideal. The view from the lounge area towards the mountain was just incredible. Kelly and Ryan were very friendly and helpful with any request we had.

The room was slightly overcrowded, but maybe because it is the smallest in the lodge. No electric plugs behind the beds which make the use of appliances (mobile phone chargers etc.) a bit awkward having one outlet with numerous needs for that plug.

Very nice and unique lodge with friendly staff and atmosphere. Food was good, especially the New Year's Eve buffet!

The bathroom in the room we had could do with some updating - the open concept shower left water all over the floor.

A real gem of a lodge so close to the mountains. Great facilities. Nice breakfast and dinner. Beautiful Lodge with pool, bar and interior. Fantastic antique furniture everywhere. Super staff. Close parking.

With the very cold weather I would have expected an electric blanket in our room.
