Positives: Lovely Room - Good value - good location - nice grounds and building - great bathroom towels - nice view. Beautiful Maine Coon Cat. I feel that this facility could be better run, to make it a much better destination. I think is has more potential that could be realized. I think the owners could raise the standard with just a little outside input and applying some customer friendly ideas and personalizing the experience more.

Negatives: 1. Didn't meet the owner, reception needs personalizing. 2. Staff were nice, kind and accommodating, but I didn't know where to find them if I needed them in the night. 3. The blind in the bathroom could not be brought down for some reason. 4. There is a "save water" sticker on the bathroom wall, yet as there is no way of telling which of the taps in the sink is HOT or COLD, I wasted some cold water running the tap as I thought it might be the hot tap. I suggest you mark them better. The taps also have a slight leak.

Churchill House was quite a find for us. The service, comfort, peacefulness, and breakfast were excellent but what really stood out for us are the views from the house. We just couldn't get enough of them. The location is second to none. Far enough from the center of town to give you the full country feel, but close enough for easy access to all the amenities one might need. The drive to the house down the beautifully tree lined Jan Smuts Avenue sets a lovely scene for the ambience awaiting you at Churchill House. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the venue.

The location is perfect. It is private and silent, and in a very good neighborhood. It is very clean and well taken care of. The host is on point! Bulelwa - the staff is fantastic!

I used two rooms while I was there because I had to extend my stay due to unforeseen reasons. In each of the two rooms, two matrasses were put together to make a big bed. That was very uncomfortable due to the gap between the two mattresses. Also, the pillows were very unconformable leading to a stiff and painful neck in the morning. The breakfast is nice but leaves room for improvement.

Staff where friendly and always helpful. the Proprty was well maintained and all facilities where to my liking Comfortable big beds, and had great sleeps, nice big bathrooms. rooms alwasy had something to drink, whether it be hot or cold drinks. room was made up nicely and alway fresh towels. beautiful view from the property

If you could give an extra happy for staff I would, the staff here were fantastic, willing to help and just generally friendly. The room was huge with a grand 4 poster bed and a loft space for the kids. The view is where they win, in the morning we threw open the patio doors and lay in bed drinking coffee admiring the vista. Breakfast was good, again with a view. There is plenty of parking and the neighborhood is peaceful and quite.

The property is beautiful and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast, it was great and delicious. Bulelwa (the staff member) gave us such a warm welcome. We will definitely go back when we are at Hillcrest

I couldn't charge my phone on their USB socket they should get an Electrician to check it out.

Stayed at this guest house for my ECE exams. It's a very peaceful place. The quietness is ideal for last-minute studying. The views are truly breathtaking. Your eyes just get lost in the unending green pastures💚. The staff is friendly and quick to help. Spacious rooms

I loved the tranquility that came with the stay since it’s in a very quiet neighbourhood. The owner Leanne was very friendly and resourceful, along with her staff. The room was elegant and spacious, the breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay definitely coming back.

Just positive criticism, the pictures on the website don’t do justice to the place. The house is really phenomenal, but the pictures don’t show case that.

Absolutely beautiful location. The view from the front lawn was just extravagant. Fantastic rooms. Very kind and friendly hosts and staff. The best bed and breakfast my wife and I have ever stayed in.
