Words can't describe how much i loved staying here! Not only is the surrounding landscape breathtaking, the game drives (thanks to Ilse&Renneck/ Terrance&Harry) incredible, and the manor itself beautifully furnished. The staff itself has been so kind, helpful and funny. They were always up for a chat, made me feel very relaxed and being in good hands. When i was the only guest one day, they put my dinner table right at the infinity pool, with the best view of Drakensberg. The chef made the most delicious meals! They made sure to call me, when the rare African wilddogs came to the water hole. Spa was incredible as well! They, also, kindly organized a day trip to close by Kruger Nationalpark for me. I will always cherish these memories. It was a dream come true. Thank you again for this memorable holiday!!

the location is great, its closer to town and main road and train track but yet still tranquil, the staff was very friendly and always check on you. loved everything, the breakfast options , the boma dinner, the game drive , the massage... every activity was handled professionally. I loved that they always put water by the bedside table just in case you get thirsty in the middle of the night

lunch and breakfast menus mostly accomodate people who eat pork, otherwise everything else was lovely

The place is absolutely stunning. It has the necessary ambience and views. You can spot animals from just chilling on their deck or breakfast. Very attentive employees. Truth, Tinashhe and Terrence provide the best services and made the stay more enjoyable. They literally made Khaya feel like home. I would be doing a disservice if i don't mention the Game drive with Mpho. It was the best game drive ever, very Informative and engaging. Overall stay was beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves

My only complaint was the cold showers we were subjected to in our rooms. Water was only warm first few seconds and completely cold thereafter. Reported this and only got warm water 1 day of reporting and thereafter back to cold

Everything! Let’s just start with the view…enough said! Facilities were just so comfortable and a next level of luxury and enjoyment! We didn’t want to leave the pool area, sitting there with a drink in hand overlooking a busy water hole with the beautiful mountains in the background is just incredible. And all credit to the staff who were just so incredible and so accommodating and friendly, we were treated like friends and made to feel at home than just guests. Just wonderful people to talk to and interact with. Well done everyone! You guys were all amazing!

What is there not to love if you are after a perfect African bush experience? Ideal location overlooking an active waterhole from a superb elevated dining and viewing deck. If you are after exquisite sunsets as you sip your sundowners you won’t be disappointed!

The directions got me lost there is no signage before the train tracks. My partner got lost for 3 hours. The GPS is of no use once you are on the reserve. Please improve the signage to the lodge

What a Wonderful experience, we loved every minute. Beautiful lodge with an amazing view. Customer service was 10/10, amazing staff they couldn’t do enough for us from the beginning to the end. Food was superb and the best bit was of course the safari, we seen so many animals and so close which in some places you don’t get this experience.

The staff are wonderful here, so friendly and welcoming. Special staff shout outs to Cissy and Truth! We loved our garden suite - felt very homey and also had a lot of space. It was great to have the laundry service - this stay was part of a much larger trip so we really appreciated it. The food was very good and we loved the massages!

My only feedback would be that I booked activities through email ahead of time (day tour, massages, airport shuttle), but the person checking us in wasn’t aware of them. More communication would have made us feel more comfortable, but everything did work out great as planned.

I liked a lot, firstly the place is to die for and very relaxing... 2ndly ,the staff was exceptional. I can't remember when was the last time I re eived such great service. Each and everyone of the staff there was helpful, what ever we needed they provided, they don't have No or I can't in their vocabulary. Very friendly.

It was amazing, the gamedrives with Semmy, the lovely food and our stay in the tent! What an excellent view, we were sitting in the middle of nature with the zebra's, wildebeast and girafs around the tent. At night we could hear the lions and hyena, we loved it The tent was really one of a kind, with a bath and a nice bed, outside shower and room/tent service You guys really spoiled us and we didnt want to leave, so we booked every day an extra day untill it was really time to fly back home Thank you so much and see you soon at the manor house, because we will be neigbours later this year 🥰🥰
