If travelling from Tambo Airport, use the train . Direct line, 15 minute journey, costs about R250. Stanton Station is directly across from hotel . The staff are lovely. Professional and efficient. Excellent quality of cleaning. Felt totally safe. Across road from Santon Shopping mall. Buffet breakfast included, thanks to the lovely gentleman chef, greeting everyone with a huge smile and friendliness. Cooked a perfect omelette to individual preferences. Buffet breakfast amazing, huge variety. Door staff very helpful, gave good advice on local area. If doing Hop On /Hop off tour, bus will call to hotel at certain times in the morning and evening . There was nothing about the hotel that was not to like. Staff and facilities great.

The gym, the room and all the facilities were good. I enjoyed them.

I did not eat the breakfast because I was abused by the staff. I dished it up and I asked them to bring to my room. I then decided that I wanted to add some fruits. As I was dishing the fruits the staff started gossiping in a language they thought I don't understand, saying that I cannot pay for one breakfast and eat for two people. They then packed the breakfast. The lady who brough it demanded to get inside my room and demanded payment from me. I had already paid when I entered the restaurant. She was dismissive when I told her this, saying that she had checked my booking and it said 'room only'. I even had to show her the message of the payment confirmation on my phone. I was mistreated a great deal in this hotel.

The first thing I noticed when I got in the room was the bathroom, it had a shower and a bathtub. I always request a bathtub when I travel with my son, now I had both. The cleanliness. The gown and sleepers and bath towel. And so many toiletries. And lots of variety of tea. The tv. The safe. The coffee maker and fridge. I have never had so much luxury in one room. Felt spoilt. The breakfast was so good. So much food. And my son had a birthday treat, for free. We felt spoilt. The view was good.

The spoiling us. That was too much. From the sweets at the reception. Now we cant do anything for ourselves, we are thinking about you.

The location is great, few blocks away from Sandton Mall/Mandela Square, free shuttle bus was available, few blocks away from the train station. Without requesting for early check-in I walked into the hotel hours before check-in and I was checked in without any question. Checking out was without hurdles even though I checked out more than 2 hours after check out time. Breakfast was great, the room was neat and comfortable. No load shedding. The gym was well equipped, and the swimming pool was great.

The bathroom had just a transparent glass demarcation from the room, no blinds, you might have a guest and can't even use the toilet or bathe if you don't want to be seen naked.

Ideal location for people taking the gautrain from the airport. The hotel is very easy to get to from the station, literally across the road. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The rooms are soundproofed so you barely hear any traffic noises, the hallways are also carpeted so you don't hear too much through the door when people are walking around. The rooms are small but comfortable with a lovely big rainfall shower. This was the 3rd hotel we checked into within 24hours as the other 2 were so awful, very relieved we eventually got to the Radisson! Will definitely be our hotel of choice if we come up to Sandton again.

The food from the room service menu was a bit hit and miss. The chicken mayo toasted sandwich was very tasty, but the pizza we had for dinner was more like a hard bread with toppings.

- Selection of items in Breakfast is spot on. Not a fancy display but just what we would want for breakfast time. - Location is excellent. The provision of a car or a shuttle bus to carry us to Sandton mall is a great service - Staff is very friendly and polite. Most of them would go the extra mile to ensure your request is being served

- The lighting is close to dim. For someone like me who is not very comfortable in dim areas, the lighting in the room was border line uncomfortable. - I was lucky that the receptionist was kind enough to get me a room with a carpet. Designing rooms with no carpets at all is very poor for your image as a 5-star hotel. Please consider the redesigning of your rooms - Some of the wood furniture in the room like the wardrobe and the desks are worn out. Scratches all over which is not well reflecting on the fact that you are a five-star hotel.

The staff was friendly and the hotel provided a bar and restaurant with near access to Sandton Square. The room was clean and well-serviced. The easy access to everything made the location perfect.

The uber/bolt were unable to come to the hotel as it is seen as a hot spot. We had to take the uber and bolt away from the hotel. The shoe cleaner in the hotel took an entire day to clean one pair of shoes, it was not worth it.

The hotel is very comfortable and just across the street from Sandton Gautrain station, which is only a short direct ride from the international airport. It's a good alternative to the hotels directly at the airport for a long layover. The concierge was incredibly friendly and helpful in finding something for me to do during my short stay.

Crossing the intersection from the train station to the hotel is a bit dangerous, as there are no traffic signals protecting pedestrians.

The menus both room and dining was limited, The swimming pool was miniature more like a plunge pool. The front office needs coordination - information and transactions were omitted,. I went to verify my bill the day before after being incorrectly queried while I had made full payment on accommodation. On checkout there was a mystery amount that had not existed the day before. I suggest a dedicated express checkout service. The red tape and delay was totally uncalled ofr seeing that I had requested to clear my bills the night before and I was told thai I need to wait to do so that morning.

Good location, friendly staff, nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast is very good value with lots of options. Beds were a little soft for me and I am not a fan of the window between the bathroom and bedroom! Overall I enjoyed my stay though, was good value.

Although I had paid for early check-in room was not ready so was delayed at reception which was annoying after a 17 hour journey and I just wanted to rest. Was fixed quickly however
