The aircon really needs a service or perhaps an upgrade. It sounded like it days are over. Sometimes it runs ok, and sometimes it really makes a lot of noise which was not ok. Please have it looked at. Thanks!

We love the old lowveld feel of the property. Beautiful established gardens, old-feel building facade and restaurant area. Just awesome. Regarding staff, German, Paul and Elphus were just the best. Amazingly helpful, intuitive and caring. Sharp on their duties. Very professional and efficient. Communicate well. Phumeza on the other hand was a grumpy, unfriendly, unhelpful grouch. At first I thought it was maybe just a communication issue, but that thought was put to rest when, later during breakfast she insisted on pushing past me with a tray of dishes, forcing me to squeeze myself between another guests chairs and table just so she could (thanklessly) force her way past me. Seriously - she almost spoiled our breakfast with her useless careless helpless attitude. Unimpressed with her. She stands around doing nothing while the rest of the staff flit about being very productive.

Where to start? Excellent value for money. Extremely professional and friendly staff Breakfast is unbelievable value with both cook breakfast and awesome fruit salads including fresh local fruit, passion fruits, paw paw melon and cold meats, Lovely sized pool, loads of parking and a Casino and shopping Mall across the road. really enjoyed our stay on the way to Kruger park Perfect place to start your safari holiday

Easily accessible, clean and spacious room, nice breakfast and the outside environment is clean and beautiful. Check in was efficient and swiftly done. I'd really love to lodge in this hotel again in case I'm around again. 🙏🙏🙏

I was so disappointed and angry after my card was debited 3 times on the 27th Sept., reversed one payment and the other two went through instead of one. Spoke to the hotel after sending an email on Friday, 29th Sept. Despite my email and call on Friday, the hotel failed to refund my money, today on Monday, 02nd October I emailed again and even call but not yet refunded even now at 14h50. I'm so disappointed and angry because this exercise had inconvenienced me. I didn't expect this from such a big hotel. Not even a formal apology to date 😔

I was there for the Kaapsehoop marathon and the hotel was well prepared for the runners. Breakfast packs and coffee that early in the morning was such a great gesture.The staff I interacted with was always helpful from the guy at the gate to the reception area. Well done - would definitely stay again

The breakfast spread on the Sunday was not the greatest (lacked variety).

We stayed at the hotel for the long weekend while we toured the panorama route. Well situated and maintained. Staff was just exceptional and friendly from the moment we entered. Extra attention was paid to the little people. Lovely gift packs for them on arrival combined with daily slushies, popcorn and a jumping castle. Breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious and great value for money. Will definitely be back. Thanks for making our family break so special.

The sheets were very clean,towels also fresh.They were not used up,I appreciated that. The hotel is very clean though.Food was okay.

It’s definitely not a four star as stated when booking.It’s a nice hotel but,definitely not a four star.And some of the staff at the restaurant were very in welcoming. And the hotel needs an up grade.Yes,the rooms are neat and all,but an upgrade is definitely needed.Especially the bathrooms,shower.

Staff is exceptional. The Hotel is undergoing renovations so there were limited family rooms. But staff ensured we got rooms that were comfortable and close to each other. Breakfast was also quite nice. The kids had a ball with the complimentary popcorn and slushies. I loved this heartwarming touch. Oh! The kids also got welcome goodie bags with chocolate and gummies. It was really pleasant.

Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Best breakfast ever-wide variety of choices and very fresh. Dinner buffet also good. We stayed over Christmas-and Christmas dinner was nice and plentiful with free service alcoholic and non-alcoholic bubbly. Staff excellent-from desk, to cleaners, waiters. Boxing Day had free service slush and popcorn machine at the lobby. Rained entire time so didnt use pool or terrace.

Rooms could use a refurbishment.
