The guesthouse itself was stunning with beautiful views over Plettenberg Bay. All the shared areas, including the pool, were clean and extremely well equipped with coffee facilities, fresh water, BBQ facilities and anything you would need for this, games and books, beach towels and chairs and even port on every floor to enjoy as an evening tipple. The room itself was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. This was equipped with all the amenities you need for your stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a good choice of hot and cold options. We would recommend to anyone visiting Plett!

Nothing not to like, just a note that upon check in, no one was there to greet us until we phoned and all the doors including reception were locked. This was made slightly more complicated by painting being completed on the outdoor walls and also meant we had ladders and decorators outside our window from early till late both days.

A stunning house in a great location! The most amazing views! Room was very comfortable and clean. The communal areas were lovely and comfortable with a supply of coffee pods and milk! You were welcome to use the main kitchen too if you felt the need! Breakfast was gorgeous & the service was always friendly and efficient. You could take beach towels, seats & umbrellas!! A very generous host! Highly recommend.

Lack of aircon.

This was the BEST place we have ever stayed. Absolute luxury and perfection. Lady that owns it is LOVELY, very friendly and helpful. The house and our room was just decadent. Super clean, lovely little luxury bathroom amenities and biscuits. The view of the sea and the whale watching was amazing. The bed was large clean and super comfortable. TV with channels and netflix! Safe secure parking, fast wifi. Lovely large shower with hot water. We were gutted to leave and when we return we will be coming back for multiple stays. Thank you so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ocean Watch is simply beautiful from the internal calm interiors to the wow factor views from the large terrace. Our room was very comfortable, and the extra thoughtful touches (beach towels and umbrellas) throughout were super. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was lovely taken in a bright beautiful room overlooking the garden and pool. I would recommend that you stay here!

The property was beautifully furnished, very spacious and had lovely views over the bay. Vanessa was very helpful and attentive. The rooms were extremely comfortable and well equipped. The terrace was a great place to relax especially in the evening with the outside fire lit. Good off road parking, some secure behind the entrance gates. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All staff were very friendly.

Lack of clothes storage space in our room.

Beautifully furnished Guest House, garden, pool and big terrace with fantastic sea view, in a quiet area. Warm welcome and lots of tips about the area, restaurants, and everything we wanted to know. Very nice breakfast with fruits, eggs, chees and everything. Free towels, chairs and parasols for the beach, Vanessa and her staff were super friendly. We were completely happy with this choice, thank you. Will definitely return when in SA.

The location and staff are outstanding Lianne her sister couldn’t have been more helpful. We started our stay in a non sea facing rose room Was very inexpensive but no view and very small we upgraded to a sea view room view which was stunning well worth the extra. Breakfast was great. Place was spotless. We wished we’d been there longer.

Internal room wasn’t for us.

Very nice house with lots of common areas and a beautiful terrace with amazing view. BBQ available for use. The room was small but with a nice interior. Location is okay, but you'll need a car to get around after dark since there are no restaurants right next to the house. But there is a kitchen that you can use to its quite nice to just hang around at the terrace in the evening. Breakfast was good but service was a little slow, we sat down at 8 when the breakfast opened but it took more than 30 minutes to get our food which was a bit of a problem having tour booked in the morning...

Faster breakfast service. Better ventilation in the room, it was a little rainy when we were there and the room got very damp and it was difficult to dry towels and so forth.

A beautiful property, with wonderful common areas (large terrace, pool area, multiple indoor areas to relax) and as the name would suggest, amazing views of the ocean and bay. It was extremely clean and tastefully decorated The property was a 5 minute walk to the main road of shops and restaurants and about a 10-15 minute walk down to the beach. The property provided a very comprehensive guide of the area, things to do and restaurants which we used to guide our stay.

The breakfast, whilst tasty, felt a little disorganized and inconsistent. With some tweaks (maybe a menu to select from) it could easily be improved. Due to load shedding at the time, it was warm in the room at night as the fan couldn’t be on and I struggled to sleep. However, I know the property is installing solar panels and to help combat load shedding! This will make it a lovely comfortable sleep.

Great location overlooking the beach at Plettenberg Bay. Our room was excellent along with the general facilities available to all guests. It was a short walk to a number of good restaurants and shops, however it was a quiet neighbourhood.

While the room had a circulating fan it didn’t have air conditioning.
