Beautiful Cape Dutch house with spacious rooms which are tastefully decorated, clean and neat. I loved the old-style shutters on the inside of the rooms which blocks out all outside lighting, making it ideal for a good night's rest away from the city. The hostess made me feel very welcome and was immediately available for any request. Centrally located making it a stone throw away from the surrounding wine farms.
I have no complaints!

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, including Bruce the dog. Suited our needs as a stop-over spot on route to Cape Town. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchenette well kitted out but we did not need it.
Suggest a hairdryer be placed in the room for travellers. It is an item I would normally expect to find in a room. Being a studio apartment one has a fridge running all night... we probably should have booked a room in the main house as the kitchenette was not really needed by us.

A perfect place to stopover. I was working but would be very happy to stay over a weekend as a couple. Lisa was most welcoming and happy to help make my stay as comfortable as possible. I understand these are new owners and are trying to make Rawsonville House an even greater option.

Alice was very friendly and professional. The room had everything we needed. We were able to have a great braai thanks to the host who provided the facilities. The pool was sparkling clean. Lovely views of the mountains from the cottage. The garden is beautiful.
It would be nice if the internet (WIFI) could stay on during loadshedding, like the two lights in the room did. Also, a loadshedding schedule could be provided, as we were unable to tell exactly when loadshedding was going to occur.

Lovely rooms and bathrooms. The studio is perfect for couples. The pool was clean and nice to cool off in. We will definitely be back.
Not that I didn't like anything however the beds felt abit uncomfortable like it's been in use for a long time.

The suite that we stayed in was separate from the house with the pool right outside the door, it was amazing. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and Lisa is just super sweet.

We arranged a family reunion camping weekend, but as my mom doesn’t like camping, and since I was her ‘designated driver’ 🤦♀️ For the weekend, I ended up booking us a room at Rawsonville House. The room we booked was large and very comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was huge, with a shower and large bathtub. Very clean, a Queen sized bed and a single one, with comfortable bedding, and cable TV. The staff (Alice) and proprietor were very friendly, helpful, and did their best to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The property is located in central Rawsonville, and very conveniently situated. There is safe off-street parking. There is also a pool, but we didn’t use it as the weather didn’t allow. There is a communal area consisting of a kitchenette, dining area and lounge, which is pretty convenient. We booked room only so I can’t comment on the breakfast.

Beds were so comfy, host was so helpful and the place its self was lovely
Perhaps a little more in terms of what they offer for Coffee and tea in the morning. Maybe a cookie jar of rusks and some better coffee options.
