The quality of hosting and friendliness surpasses every other venue we've stayed in. The food is brilliant - a different gourmet experience at each breakfast, afternoon tea and canapes. The location on the edge of Riebeek Kasteel makes for a safe & pleasant stroll into town. The vineyard views with mountainous backdrop are a pleasure to behold. The garden & pool & outside seating areas are perfect.

The views were a thrilling surprise. Sunset over the mountains in the distance was spectacular. The attention to small details from our host was wonderful. Amazing setting, rooms lovely and well thought out. Host Gareth was charming and such an amazing chef. He couldn’t do enough for us. Afternoon tea with homemade cakes and drinks and canapés laid on. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was top class too. Gareth and his staff were kind and we will definitely be back

Everything was beyond Exceptional!! We left Vineyard Views guesthouse with the mindset of having enjoyed a Six Star establishment. Gareth went above & beyond with everything that he did for us during our stay. Besides the breathtakingly beautiful setting and gardens, the breakfasts, afternoon tea & cake and canapes at dusk were simply outstanding... We truly felt like we were in a Masterchef kitchen based on the standard of each and every meal placed in front of us. This in one gem that has to be experienced to be appreciated. Everywhere else we stayed paled in comparison.
Nothing at all.. Everything was just perfect, from the luxury of the guest suite to the communal areas and gardens/pool setting. There is simply nothing to criticise at all.

It cannot get any better than this, we absolutely LOVED everything! From the moment you arrive, you are spoiled. The guest house is stunning with interesting art and decor. The garden and the views are out of this world. There is so much attention to detail and it is clear that everything offered is done with passion. The quality of the coffee and the home-baked cake was some of the best we ever had. We were also most surprised by the delicious canapes served at 17h00, which we enjoyed with a gin & tonic. Life cannot get any better than this :) The bedroom was dreamy and super comfortable. Once again everything supplied was of the best quality and one could not help but feel spoiled. We also enjoyed the homemade fudge surprise waiting in the fridge :) We will definitely return every time we come back to South Africa!
NOTHING! Our stay was too short.

Gareth was a consummate host. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Canapés prepared in the kitchen served at 6 pm daily with wine from an excellent selection. Gareth and Grant took the trouble to chat to us while we ate the delicious snacks. We felt like special guests welcomed into their beautiful home. The breakfasts were a highlight with different fare every day. Omelettes, mini-quiches and other hot egg-baked dishes. All mouth-watering . For my birthday my daughter and son-in-law joined us for a specially catered lunch. Slow roasted Osso Buco was perfect. A lot of time and effort went into making the lunch memorable Every room is furnished with treasures which must have been chosen with care over a long period. My wife, who gardens, marvelled at the garden the variety of plants and the beauty with which it was layed out. A slice of heaven on earth. We hope to return soon

We were totally spoiled, from the moment we arrived we were served delicious delicacies in the most beautiful ways. Breakfast was an absolute treat always something different not just your regular bacon and eggs.
The accommodation was comfy and clean, beautifully decorated, such attention to detail.. even little homemade sweets in the fridge, which were replenished daily. There really was nothing we didn't like!

The food was amazing. Better than the local restaurants we did visit. Super attentive hosts that we had some good chats with...highly recommended if you want something that's a level up from any other B&B.

We very much enjoyed our stay including an excellent three course dinner one evening, as well as delicious breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapes each day. Gareth and Grant are welcoming and caring hosts whose local knowledge of wineries, restaurants and places to visit ensured we enjoyed our first visit to Riebeek Kasteel and persuaded us that we should plan a return.

it was impeccable in terms of furnishing and attention to detail. Gareth and Grant have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into providing an exceptional experience for their guests. In our opinion there is no room for improvement, as the ultimate has been achieved.
This just does not apply.
