It is a lovely establishment for a getaway for couples. Everything was very comtortable. Loved the views from the balcony and the garden. Appreciated that we could use the communal kitchen, lounge and braai area for the whole weekend. Loved our hosts for trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible and for accepting us, almost like family. I'll definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful weekend away.

It is in a residential area which means we had to limit our activities that could cause some form of noise. As a group, it was kind we felt a bit restricted in terms of chatting and laughing. But otherwise, everything was great and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Location was lovely - very quick to town and restaurants as well as the beach and park / hiking trails. The WiFi was very good - I could make work video calls with ease, and there was no loadshedding (property is on solar power). The hosts were quite welcoming and the room was very clean and well stocked. They also had someone come in and tidy my room daily, which was a really nice touch.

From the photos, it seemed like there would be a view of the water from the rooms themselves, but the view shown is from the shared living area. Not a complaint, just something that surprised me. In addition, there are rooms upstairs and downstairs in the property, so if you don’t want to or can’t carry luggage up and down stairs, you might want to request a lower room.

Green Pastures is a home away from home. Actually better :-) My stay was tranquil, which fitted in perfectly with the surroundings. Nature, sea and close to a lovely gem, selena's beach restaurant, overlooking the serene Wilderness beach. We were greeted personally by our Hosts, who immediately made us feel at home. Our room lacked nothing. We were gifted with sweet treats and found the room to offer more than we expected. Everything we needed was in our room. My eldest son did not want to leave the room as he felt the peace was what he needed while I took my younger son to explore the surrounding beach. My stay was way too short, I would recommend at least 3 nights. I will definitely be back.

Room was a bit below expectation (given the area and the location). Not the cleanest (but by no means dirty), older finishes and 3x cheap and crumpled niknaks chip packets (with no chocolates as advertised in the welcome book) was a bit out of place and surprising - but it may just have been a one-time thing?

Gideon and his wife were amazing. They were friendly and accommodating with our check-in time. The sharing of places to visit and eat, really helped. I especially loved my early morning walk through the fisherman's trail close by, which led to a beautiful secluded stretch of beach.The welcome treats were also a pleasant surprise. We will definitely go backwards

Great location and great hosts. Great recommendation about food options in the area and most importantly tips on how to be safe when visiting our destinations. Very comfortable set up ( one had own/ separate entry to the unit), very comfortable beds, great facility. Also a common space / terrace with amazing ocean view and most importantly very nice and knowledgeable hosts.

Had a perfect stay here! Great location close to the beach and beautiful cliffs. Lovely hosts! The room was beautiful and sparkling clean. Kitchen very well equipped so we could easily make breakfast there with everything one might need (Fridge, plates, cutting board, cutlery, much more .. ). Would definitely recommend and stay there again if we were to come back to wilderness. Thanks for the great stay!

Beautifully presented, immaculately clean accommodation. The hosts are friendly and gracious. We really appreciated the many considerate extras such as tea/coffee/sugar/milk supplies; chilled bottled water; chocolate bars; Nik Naks crisps; hand wash; shampoo & shower gel. The kitchenette is fully equipped with an induction cooker plate, microwave, fridge, cutlery, crockery, pots & pans, plastic containers, dishwashing supplies & tea towels. Lots of towels provided. The beds are very comfortable and the room size is good. The hosts offered us use of the large balcony overlooking the sea which was beautiful and peaceful. They also offered us use of the large TV lounge, kitchen and braai/patii area, but we didn't make use of these as we were only staying one night. The wifi is good and TV/Netflix is available in the room. Water pressure in the shower is good and the water is hot. We loved our stay and would love to return for a longer visit.

We would have liked a flat sheet on the beds, as it was too hot to sleep under the duvets provided.

The B&B has a wonderful home-like atmosphere. I particularly liked the unique decor and jelly sweets (and chocolates) they put on the bed The hosts were incredibly friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable.

As a business traveller it would be useful to have hairdryer and iron to prepare for the day ahead.

Our family of 5 had such a lovely stay at Tranquil Shores. Jorina and Gideon were the perfect hosts and accommodated us in every way from having a generator during load shedding, allowing us to braai, having our rooms cleaned daily and overall being very helpful and friendly. Needless to say that Wilderness is a worthwhile destination.

The house is a little far from the beach and quite tricky to get to but there are other public beaches a short drive away.
