Perfect location at the heart of Myeongdong, simple & clean rooms and friendly staff! Special mention to Alvin who's been very helpful to us during our stay. Thanks Alvin! 3 Thumbs up to you! :-) Though we missed the little token & didn't get to read the thank you message (didn't reached any of us during the last day). Even if we didn't see the message & what's inside the brown bag -- appreciate the gesture and for making our family's stay comfortable :-)

there's no restroom in the lobby - had to go to another branch to freshen up -- it's a hassle. Also, the check-in is 3pm (no consideration for early check-in)/check out is also early at 11am not the usual 12N standard check-out.

The staff were all friendly and willing to help. The room was clean and warm. I had no problem sleeping and the bed was comfortable. The room had enough pillows and bedding. The bathroom had towels, body wash, and shampoo. The breakfast is self-serve and you can make toast, eat cereal, and have coffee or tea. OYO Hostel also helped me book a taxi to the airport for the next day and helped me move my bags to where the taxi would pick me up.

I took a taxi from Seoul station to where OYO Hostel is, but the taxi could not drop me off near the hostel. The taxi driver was kind enough to help me phone OYO Hostel and showed me where I had to go. I had 3 bags and it was a little difficult to get to where OYO Hostel is. You have to go upstairs before you get to the elevator.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was right in the middle of Myeongdong, and safe to get to at night. Rooms were on the smaller side but there was enough space for 2 big luggages. Breakfast in the morning is a plus. The open space outside the rooms made the stay more comfortable to hang out and eat as there is a microwave and plates/cutlery.

Location! If you want to explore The Myeong-dong area, this is a great location. Food and shopping is available outside the hotel. Walking distance from Myeong-dong statin. Hailey was marvelous. Our taxi driver got lost, but Hailey went out of her way to meet us a nearby drop off location.She even carried some of our luggage. Great value for money.

There was a strong sewer smell on our first night. The cleaning staff was able to fix this the next day. Don't expect too much for the included breakfast, just cereals, toast, juice, instant coffee. Given the location, you have a great selection of cafes and Korean breakfast joints. Be aware, taxis can't drop you off at the hotel's doorstep. The taxi has to drop you off at the nearby Royal Hotel.

The staff were friendly. They gave a small welcoming and goodbye treats and the breakfast was ok. They allow to leave your luggage before you check in and after you check out. The place is clean. The location is great since it’s within the shopping/restaurant vicinity.

Personally because of my knee issue, one flight up before the elevator was a little difficult especially when carrying a luggage too. I knew when I booked that the shower, toilet and sink were all in one area, but I would avoid that if I could. I may have missed it, but I didn’t know that 10k Won cash was required to borrow/get an outlet adapter and a big towel, so make sure to have cash on hand.

The reason why this hostel is number #1 in Myeongdong is related with not only the perfect service but also the personality of staffs. They are very kind, helpful, beautiful people and I am very happy to meet with them in this journey. The location was perfect. Right in the centre of Myeongdong. Great area for tourists to stay. Everything I needed was supplied. The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was compact, but perfect. I love the wet room bathroom too. The bathroom was within the room itself, no need to share. I felt very safe. As the hostel is in the centre of Myeongdong, if I couldn't sleep, I just had to go downstairs and walk around the shops (open til 1am).
