Great, cheap price for the quality of the room. Location is simply ideal as it's near the train station while also being in the central hub of Myeondong. And the reception reps go above and beyond being both helpful and accommodating. They had provided me with a free umbrella for use during my stay in Seoul, and they didn't charge me anything extra for having lost it. They had also offered to pack my clothes after the dryer was done, so that I wouldn't need to watch over my laundry for hours at the hostel myself.

This accommodation's bedding is solidly firm. So this can be a huge con for anyone who doesn't like / aren't used to these type of hard mattresses.

Just a short walk or two stops on Subway Line 4 from Seoul City railway station, the location is exceptional. Myeongdong station is 2 minutes walk; the airport bus is 2 minutes walk. The night market is even closer with amazing views of N Tower illuminated at night. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and well appointed with air conditioning, bathroom facilities, TV., and under-bed storage. Hanging space is limited, but this isn't supposed to be the Ritz. It's the perfect base to rest your head after a long day in Seoul. Stay here for high-end to everyday shopping, Myeongdong night market with delicious street food, Namdaemun market, the sights of old Seoul, access to N Tower, and easy transportation to the rest of the city.

If you intend to do a lot of sightseeing and like the convenience of having a lot of shops right around the corner then I’ll definitely recommend this place. The rooms are excellent for hostel type of accommodation and clean. One of the perks is the rooms being really quiet Staff are helpful and friendly. I traveled with my brother and we were out and about most of our time in Seoul. This was a great fit for the purpose of our trip.

The building is a little older but standard is decent for the price and in Seoul. However if you seek a full hotel experience with breakfast I’d suggest you stay elsewhere.

This is my third time back at the accomodation and we wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else when travelling to Myeondong. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We have two separate stays booked here as part of our 21 days travelling in South Korea. The reception staff who met us on both checked in dates took care of us and our luggages in between our stays. The location is prime - in the mecca of the shopping and restaurants, close to the train station and airport bus limousine stop. Our last stay here was in 2018 and surprisingly the owner/manager remembered us and spoilt us with baked goods. It may not be a 5 star luxury hotel but it’s a great accommodation with lovely staff to take care of you.

Small spaced rooms with a lot of luggages but we made it work.

The location is near the Myeongdong Station which makes it easy for me to access the subway. The pantry also clean and complete. I can preheat and enjoy my meal. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I arrived late from Busan and I inform the owner for late check in. The owner is really easy to communicate, good in English and help me to late check in. Thank you. The place is quiet and I can have a good rest even though it is in the middle of Myeongdong Street. Overall, I am satisfied.

The room is kinda small but I believe that other hotel/guesthouse also provide small room at the Myeongdong area since I already check the room size before make any booking. I guess it is hard to find a cheap and large room in Korea due to high living costs.

The location was close to the metro station, the night market, lots of places to eat and really close to the shopping area. Wangbijib and Myeongdong Gyoza were nearby. It's also just a few metro stops away from the palaces and other sites. Staff was more than helpful and explained everything to us as soon as we arrived. Rooms were clean and had the basic - hot & cold water, mini fridge, cool aircon, comfy bed - something to look forward to after a long day of going around Seoul Def staying here again when I'm back in Seoul

Rooms were small but it didnt really bother us since we were out for most of the day.

Location was smack bang in the middle of Myeongdong night markets, so you don't have to walk far to get street food and/or do your shopping in the area. Staff was very friendly and happy to assist, really lovely staff when I was there, and you can leave your luggage till your check-in time.

Check-in time was a tad late, 3pm - 10pm. Rooms are a bit small, I hit my knees a few times on the bed frame, shower is good, but the pressure was a little weak (keep that in mind), can't flush toilet tissues down the toilet. If you plan to stay in your room all day, maybe find a more comfortable one. Laundry was a bit expensive ₩8000 (washing and drying), but convenient. I have found laundromats for as cheap ₩500, if you're willing to explore, but I leave that up to you. This accomm is more of a play all day and come home and sleep, rinse and repeat.

Very accommodating receptionist. She was kind and attentive to our needs. We just didn’t get her first name. 😩 But if she gets to read this, we want to let her know that “We truly appreciate your effort in making sure we got our keys and made sure we have the information that we need for our stay. We were initially anxious when we checked in as we arrived late in the evening. You did a great job making sure we have a contact to call in case we have any questions.”

Just a bit cramped in my daughters’ room; but they do have large luggages with them that made the room a little tight. Stay was good anyway which was most important.

I recently stayed at this hotel during my trip to Korea, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. The hotel is incredibly clean and well-organized, making it a comfortable place to stay. The staff at the counter were very friendly and provided excellent service, ensuring that all my needs were met promptly. The location of the hotel is highly strategic, with plenty of food options just a few steps away. Additionally, it’s extremely convenient to get to the subway station, which is only a 5-10 minute walk away. This made traveling around the city very easy and hassle-free. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit. Highly recommended!

Fantastic little hostel! Super friendly staff. Very clean rooms. Filtered water available. Room is small yes, but cozy and the location of this property is excellent.

This is a 9 and not a 10 because the shower situation is weird. The bathroom/shower are the same little room and once you use the shower, the bathroom will be wet for many hours.
