Cleanness, kindness and informative staffing, good portion and nutritious breakfast and the most important was a convenient location.

2nd floor bathroom sink need to check, water flowing didn’t working properly. Should have rules not taking showers after 10 or 11 pm for people who is already sleeping. Also there were people who talked very loudly in the lobby or during a breakfast time I had to move away from.

The location was most convenient; relatively near to a bus stop, convenience stores and restaurants (please do try eating at 전주식당, it’s a restaurant ran by a sweet 이모, just a few meters down the block, her dishes are so delicious). The rooms were so quiet and the common bathroom was clean. The breakfast buffets were delightful and the hotel lobby smelled nice. I also liked the view of Namsan Tower from the rooftop. The staff were also very helpful (thanks Mr. Jay for helping my friend order in Chinese food).

As someone who has a stubby build, climbing on to the bed was physically taxing lol

I stayed here before and after a tour. It is a nice place designed in a traditional style but with modern amenities. It felt comfortable staying here as a solo female traveller. I met kind people and made new friends here. It is very close to Changgyeonggung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, Insadong Culture Street and Ikseondong Hanok Village. Many other attractions are also nearby or can be reached by the subway/bus. Buffet breakfast was very nice. And there are plenty of food options around too. Check-in/check-out was simple. They stored my luggage as well so I could do extra exploring. You can also see Namsan Tower if you go up to the roof terrace!

The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable. The location felt very safe and it was close to the traditional side of Seoul. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. They offered baggage storage which is always a plus.

It would have been nice if breakfast was served slightly earlier. I had to leave before 7AM so I never got to make use of the breakfast they served. The showers cubicles felt extremely tight and there wasn't a hook to hang bags on. These are very minor things though - the property was definitely still worth staying at.

Everything about this place is very nice and loved staying here. I would come back and stay here again. Modern facilities but with a look of Hanok traditional style Korean vibe to it. Very well maintained. The staff was very helpful and accommodating of guest requests. Breakfast served was also very good. They even have washing machine to do free laundry which was very handy. You could also try Hanbok outfits at the hotel which was free as part of promotion. Definitely recommend this hotel

If you are staying in one of the shared rooms, it can be a bit noisy due to the guests as the shared room walls are thin. But thats expected when opting for shared rooms.

The most notable aspect that I recall about the stay was the impeccable service. Every single member of the staff was friendly and cheerful, and also all could speak English on a high level. The breakfasts prepared by the cooks always brightened my day with fresh nutrition and tasty garnishes. The cleanliness of the place astonished me, since every day my room received a change of sheets and towels, along with new supplies, such as mouth hygiene kit and a bathrobe. The location of the place was also rather convenient, with two metro stations being within walking distance and a bus stop literally right next to the hotel. Overall the stay was pleasant and very satisfying!

One thing I found tiresome was the abundance of cicadas

The walking distance to two palaces and the popular areas of Iksandong and Insadong makes the location perfect. The staff and service were superb. I was able to get recommendations and was even helped with my broken suitcase. The breakfast buffet was demure, but tasty! The amenities were also modern and clean. It really felt like luxury and I enjoyed the theme, while keeping my western comfort. I usually avoid hostels and shared spaces, but wanted to try it and it was a lovely experience in itself. I loved it so much that I will come here again.

I never got a chance to wash my own clothes as the washing machine was permanently in use by other guests, at no fault to the hotel.

Beautifully designed hostel in a fantastic location! The hostel is within walking distance from the Hanok Village, many historical sights, a metro station and the trendy Insadong area. Breakfast buffet was excellent, facilities were clean and comfortable, but the staff were really what made my stay special. This was my first time in Seoul and I was a little nervous as a solo traveler but the staff were so friendly and helpful, I can’t praise them enough. I wish I could’ve stayed here longer!

Capsule does very little to block out sound and I unfortunately ended up with some noisy neighbors - not the hostel’s fault but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

The location is excellent in central of the city. Shops and palaces are nearby in walking distance.

I didn’t realise this hotel rooms have female and male. It booked the room for female only. My wife and I can’t stay together. I booked 5 days stay. I can’t cancel it. I will need to book another 5 days. The hotel charged me an arm and leg. I had no choice and they knew that. I paid extra 750,000 Krw on top of 589,680Krw.
