1. Location was near 7/11 store, bus station, airport bus station, subway, restaurants, and tourist spots 2. Water, food, shampoo, body wash, slippers were available 3. Curtain for the bed was available for privacy 4. Hostel owner and his nephew were very nice, accommodating, and spoke good English 5. Our room had its own shared bath room

1. I was only bothered that the main door for the hostel downstairs was not locked during late at night even though there was a password 2. None negative for the hostel, besides my roommate who snored loud 3. Locker was available but with fee 4. Elevator was not available--this is for those with heavy luggage, but hostel is only at 2nd-3rd floor anyways

The ambiance and atmosphere are really nice, pleasant. Everything is neat. The staff is great and Tommy himself is just a marvelous host. You can do laundry (washer and dryer - 1000krw each), there's basic breakfast (coffe, cereal, toast) but you can also cook yourself anything you like as there's a 7eleven just next to the hostel, so you can always grab some groceries or a quick bite. Also, for the location, I can't stress enough how good it is. For example the entrance to the Changdeokgung palace is just down the street, the Insadong Street is really near, and you have a subway station where three lines cross (really important, makes traveling way easier) just 200-300m away. Overall, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend the place.

Hostel Tommy is very accessible and a few meters walk to Ikseondong. Dining is very easy at almost each side street, you can find food and restos to suit your taste. The train station is just around the corner so going around the city is so easy. There is a convenience store just right down the hostel so late night cravings is no problem if you wish to snack. It is also walking distance to the palaces around Jongno district. It is also near the airport bus station, if you have an early morning flight. The room is kept clean. Tommy is very warm to answer any queries for guests. I highly recommend this place to stay.

The room was clean and quiet. The staff were extremely accommodating and didn't hesitate to answer questions or provide assistance. The location was very convenient. A subway station was a 5-minute walk and tourist spots, such as the palaces and shrines, were all walking distance. There was laundry available at the property.

The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned and had visible dirt on the floor. The room cleaning service was an additional cost. However, I understand that I booked a hostel and not a hotel and am still very happy with my stay. In the future, I would appreciate the room to cleaned more thoroughly.

From the picture on the website I thought the room was going to be incredibly small. However the room exceeded my expectations by far. The location of this accommodation can’t be any better. It’s located right next to a 7/11 which means it’s excellent for those who don’t want to waste any time and get right into exploring Seoul! Not to mention it’s in the middle of a very nice district with a ton of nice coffee places and bars. The room has floor heating and a AC unit and the windows are sound proof so no sound coming from the street. The station is about a 5 minute walk, which makes hopping over to a different district a lot easier. No need to get a taxi. The host is incredibly nice and understanding, I accidentally overslept and slept through check out but it was absolutely no problem.

I was here for an extended stay from Nov - early Dec with Hostel Tommy. The staff are friendly and helpful who are able to assist you if you can't speak Korean. Tommy was also helpful to share some recommendations with me when he found out that I was heading to Busan after my stay here at the hostel. It is also in the middle of a bustling neighborhood in Ikseondong which has a good variety of bakeries, bars, restaurants, and local pochas if that's something you'd like to experience. I would overall recommend this place for travellers who are looking for an accomodation option that's good value for money.

The location is conveniently located just above a Seven Eleven, with only walking distance to various tourist hotspots (Changdeokgung Palace, Ikseon-dong, Insadong) & easy access to public transportation such as MRT (closest station is Jongno 3-ga) & bus. The staffs there are all super friendly, made it easy for us to feel like at home (even the owner, Tommy, was often there & up for a quick chat with the guests, to make sure everything's ok with their rooms). The self-service breakfast was also a great added value, we can meet & chat with other guests in the common/dining area so it was nice. The room itself was OK, a bit tight space for 4 adults but we managed as we fully aware of the layout & setup with bunkbed. They can clean the room for additional fee & you have to inform in advance (maybe D-1) to make sure they arrange something with the houskeeping team. Overall great experience!

We loved everything in our stay! Everything was as shown in the photos, including the staff. Room floor was heated, en suite bathroom, the pantry + breakfast with complete amenities. Really exceptional. Central location and friendly international staff. 7-eleven right next door. Abundant good food within walking vicinity. Highly recommended and we would stay here again! Really felt like home.

Nothing! But just to highlight, the bunk bed is slightly narrower than usual.

The location of the place is superb, close to the metro and many point of interests, including bars and eateries - I found also some delicious vegan places nearby. I enjoyed my stay at the hostel, the facility has everything you need, with shared spaces to use and meet people from everywhere. This place is really for everyone, from families to solo travellers, and during breakfast (which is basic but always nice to have a warm cup of coffee and some toast in the morning) you can have a quick chat with other travellers before being ready for the day. The temperature of the room was perfect and the shower had good water pressure, plus it was very quiet. Shout out to the staff which was there to help and suggest you places to visit. Thank you, hope to visit again in the future!

If you like big body towels bring yours since it seems very common (found also in other facilities) to use small towels.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, very quiet at night, it had complimentary simple breakfast, room was a decent size. Location was very good.

Could not get used to the open concept shower/bathroom situation. The shower head was right next to the sink, in between the toilet and the door(with no shower curtain). When you showered, your companion did not have access to the toilet, and the whole bathroom floor would get wet and take hours to dry. If you wanted to use the toilet after showering, since the floor was wet, you needed to wear flipflops and mind your pants/skirt so they wouldn't get wet on the floor. The AC was a little moldy.
