The accomodation is just about perfect, comfortable beds and everything we needed. It was very clean. The pool is also clean and big enough and deep enough for a good swim. It is close to the beach and there is an even nicer beach within 10 minutes walk. The bus station and a supermarket are also just a short walk away. The accomodation has a little library where you can borrow or swap books and there is also a token operated self service laundry which can be useful for longer stays. We are planning to stay here again next year and would certainly recommend to anyone wanting a nice relaxing holiday.

Well the only thing in my opinion that could be improved is the sunloungers. They are just hard white plastic without mattresses. However this did not in anyway spoil our holiday but for someone who likes to spend more time sunbathing I imagine it would.

Location, staff, security, cleanliness and ambience was excellent. Poolside bar with good food and drinks.3 English speaking channels on tv.Free wine and water on arrival lovely gesture.

Bed base a bit drooping although memory foam mattresses were brand new condition. Tele a bit small in room.Could do with a bigger one on the wall Road next to apartments a little noisy.

Great location . Very quiet and great individual space on your own patio. Staff are brilliant . Been coming here for years and never disappoints 😀 even has English tv now

The location is perfect just next to the town centre shops, restaurants and bars. Castillo Playa is clean. The swimming pool is superb. Value for money is the best. The bungalow has everything that you need including a pack containing cloths, bin bags and washing up liquid etc. Also on arrival a bottle of red wine. The whole experience was fantastic. Would not hesitate to recommend the Castillo Playa. We would rather stay here instead of the nearby 4 star hotels where we have previously stayed. Looking forward to going back.

The furniture is slightly out of date but incredibly clean and perfectly acceptable. I only mention this for the extremely fussy. We found the Castillo Playa fantastic and I couldn't find any other fault whatsoever. I would rate the premises 3 star not 2 star as listed.

It was very close to the beach and the center. The bungalow had everything you might need (except basic food items like spices and dish soap) and there is a nice terrace to sit. Some bungalows had morning sun and some had sun in the afternoon. Most guests were British and 50+. The atmosphere was very nice, i felt very safe.

The bungalows are a little old and smell like people smoked inside.

Although a bit old fashioned/dated furniture in the bungalows, the facilities were ideal for what we wanted. The beds were really comfortable and were made up for us most days, even Christmas Day itself. The pool area is beautiful and with a lovely cafe/bar there. We had a breakfast and a main meal there. Both were really good. All staff were helpful and friendly. Such a great location. 3 mins walk to main bars and restaurants and the same in the other direction to the beach. Fantastic. Great apartments. I wouldn't hesitate in staying again.

We like the bungalows so much so we have been here virtually every year for the past 12 years.

On this occasion the swimming pool was very cold & there was also some building work going on down our row eg floor tiles and bungalow veranda walls.

I loved the location 5 mins to the shops and restaurants and a couple of minutes to the beach The bungalows were cosy with a couple of english channels on the TV. Everyone was very friendly even down to the gardener. Particularly in the little cafe bar. Can definitely recommend the local area the beaches are lovely, everything is clean and welcoming some excellent restaurants all within walking distance. There is also a bus station nearby where you can get cheap tickets to various towns in either direction.

The pool was very cold but it was only the end of February Perhaps a little more Spanish canarian food on the menu in the cafe/bar The bungalow ÷ we found our fitted sheets kept popping off. the shower head needed changing although the water was lovely and hot. I would of loved a small oven or grill and more cutlery, small things really.

Good atmosphere, quiet oasis close to the beach. Seawater pool +25 in January appreciated. There is a small set for washing dishes. Сomfortable mattresses and pillows. Main contingent is elderly couples.

The cooker is not suitable for intensive cooking, the burners are switched off. The furniture is from the 80s, the rooms are tired. So the renovations could use some work, including the terrace. There are no umbrellas on the terrace, no beach towels and no sun lounger cover.
