The aparthotel is an oasis of calm in a busy Barcelona city. It is located close to shops, cafes and restaurants and all the transport links. The accommodation is spacious and well furnished with air conditioning and kitchen facilities for self catering if you wish. A continental breakfast can be preordered and delivered to your apartment - drinks are available too. The apartments are kept spotlessly clean and have good showering facilities. There is a small rooftop pool and a terrace with loungers and a few tables and chairs. Staff are friendly and helpful and seem happy to assist with anything you need during your stay. The hotel is located in a quiet district of Barcelona, 10-15 mins walk to Vallcarca metro station. No traffic or tourist noise around, very pleasant place for a relaxed stay. There is the pool and the sunbeds on the rooftop to chill. The room was huge. I had a sleeping zone, kitchenette with a dining table, and a zone with a sofa and armchair. If you order breakfast, you can choose ham&cheese or cereal with yogurt. It'll come with 4 different kinds of bakery, butter, and jam, which is more than enough for one person. Good and stable wifi in the room.

The AC in the room worked automatically. I couldn't turn it it off or regulate the temperature. Hence, it got too cold during the night, and I had to take out a warm blanket. When i opened the window to make it warmer, it didn't help either, cause the AC outside units (I had them 2 on my balcony) worked so intensively noisy, that I had to close windows back.

The hotel was chosen for its general location, in walking distance to CosmoCaixa. It is also very well reachable by public transport. The room to the back that I had was quiet and very spacious with a big bed, seating corner, and the kitchen table. The bathroom had been evidently renovated not too long ago and nice and modern. There is lots of storage space for your belongings even for a longer stay, something I often miss in modern hotels. Having a small kitchen is very convenient and there are various shopping options nearby. The breakfast served to the room is really generous. Staff was very friendly and helpful on all occasions.

The direct environment around the hotel is a bit drab. The flipside of a large room to the back in November was that it was quite dark without the lights put on. Wifi was a bit shaky and moderately fast. The seating area was nice to have, but the armchairs and sofa already well used. For modern needs there could be more free power outlets, providing one multiple socket extension would help a lot.

The staff at the front desk, Gabriel, Hugo, Nabil, and Zaid were wonderful and very helpful. They made it a pleasant stay for us, as did the cleaning staff. Very friendly and polite. Small kitchen but this is a city apartment. We used it for breakfast every morning. The bathroom was very modern. We liked the location away from the tourist hustle and bustle and in a real neighborhood, but close to two metro stops that took us downtown.

I can’t think of anything that would have made our stay better.

Greeted warmly by Zed...he explained everything we asked or needed to know. They went out of their way to accommodate us, even gave us a free upgrade to somewhat bigger apartment. Friendly location. We even got a nice wedding anniversary surprise. The rooftop pool was interesting and there was a nice view...small pool but did the trick. Classy place.

Really my wife and I cannot recollect any negative aspects, it was just right. I take care to book good places and it works for us almost every time.

A really good find. Large apartment for two which was well-priced and easily accessible by train (Av.Tibidabo), metro (Valcarca) and bus. Fully equipped kitchenette with enough dishes and cutlery for three (two-person apartment). Well maintained and clean. Well-stocked small supermarket almost next door (open early until late) where we purchased everything we needed for breakfast. We found the apartment to be quiet and there was very little noise from other residents (occasional dragged chairs). My wife thought the mattress was bit hard – to me it made a pleasant change from our own! Have recommended the establishment to our daughter who lives in the city and sometimes needs somewhere for her visitors to stay.

Zed at reception welcomed us and gave us information on the hotel and local area. It set the tone for our stay and all staff we met were very friendly and accommodating. Small swimming pool and sun deck on the roof was great during the very hot weather. The hotel is well located with easy access to Barcelona, within walking distance of Park Guell and Tibidabo. Comfortable beds, sitting/dining area and balcony. Excellent shower and bathroom with lots of towels. Some lovely places to eat nearby (L’Obrador coffee shop and bakery was excellent and we ate at Ben Tips at the Metro stop a few times)and lots of mini markets. Reception was manned 24 hours. We will definitely be back.

The décor was a bit dated but was clean and well kept. This is not a criticism, just an observation.

If you want a 'modern' hotel that looks like it's all come out of a flat pack..It's not for you. We really loved the 70's Scandinavian ( for want 0f a better term) feel of the furnishings and fittings. Everything worked for us. It's in a great location for getting into the center but the area has a great vibe of its own. The staff was all terrific in our view. Great cleaning and easy 24hour access and the icing....the excellent roof terrace with pool

The reception was the kindest in the world! The apartment was very clean (and cleaned everyday), spacious, with nice bathroom, quiet AC, and a kitchen corner. The breakfast served to the room every morning was very tasty, with good coffee and fresh bread. I did not use a pool, but I know it was available. The property is close to metro, in a safe area. All excellent.

Everything was great, maybe it would be nice to have some salt and pepper in the kitchen.

Staff were very friendly, polite and ready to help at all times. Location is great, next to 2 metro stations. Lots of cafes and supermarkets around. The swimming pool area is spacious and the pool is very clean and fresh. The apartments are very spacious, very good value for money.
