This was my first time in a hostel and it definitely set the bar very high. The guy at reception when I arrived was very friendly, the room was clean and bed was comfortable enough. Toilet and shower were in the room which was nice. Nearby to a metro station and plenty of shops and cafes nearby too. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe here

Only complaints I have are that the shower door did not have a lock on it (I was the only one in the room during my stay so it wasn't an issue for me but I can imagine it could be uncomfortable when there are other people in the room) and there was no soap so I had to go buy some in order to safely take my contact lenses out

Shower was decent, Bed was comfortable enough. Very close to bus routes and has a nice Cafe (Origo) around the corner. Highly recommend a Hola Barcelona card the public transport is Very good!

Staff appeared disinterested, Often had to try multiple times to swipe card but might just be an isolated issue. Did not try the gym or swimming pool though I understand it is actually separate. Locker boxes some of them appeared damaged in my room but still relatively safe.

I was in a 6-bed dorm female only. Really modern, great shower and separate toilet for just the 6 of us. Great water pressure in shower. Comfy bed (top bunk for me). Walking tour sets off from BCN every day at 10.15am. The tour guide from Hungary was brilliant (unfortunately I can't remember her name). Remember although to tip the guide at least 10 euros - not bad for a 2-3 hour guided walking tour. There's a night time pub crawl every night at 10pm for 20 Euros, but I'm too old for that game :-) Different zones split by naming them a sports name. I was in water sports. Great interesting decor. Non-sports fans will also like it here. Fantastic location.

The metal bunk beds were a bit squeaky even when I moved a little bit. Could do with a slightly bigger shared kitchen, but it was ok really

We came on late saturday, the men is helping us check in to our room effectively & he is very helpful with our questions as non spanish speaker. We slept in a mixed bedroom (mostly filled with men, but we’re 2 girls) and nothing happened (but please still be careful & mindful with your belongings)! I think the room situation depends on your roommates, we are lucky to stay with people who respect everyone’s boundaries!!

The bed sanitation & toilet can be improved:) I think it will be your competitive advantage

Originally I was concerned when I read all the reviews however the bed mattress was fine and the hostel was clean and well looked after! Toilet and shower in the same room as beds so easy access! Theme was nice even tho I'm not a football fan - it has motorsports and other sports which was cool! Aircon in the rooms was a god send 🙏🔥 Location was good too!

The shower on the first day did have that "wet shower smell" others have mentioned in the reviews, however after the first day I didn't notice anything.

After 18 months of travelling i can say, there is a lot of space and rooms. It was clean, met some people ln the room.👍🏻

I would recommend to install a door lock for the shower (its cheap and easy). And a better extractor hood in the bathroom to avoid possible mould. And make the wifi acceptable to iphones. Thats the reason why i changed after 1 night. Thats it. Apart from that all good👍🏻

The location of this hostel is perfect, because it's a walking distance to shop and nightlife. We like the people (staffs & tourists) we met at this hostel. It was a busy hostel with lot of mix bunch of tourists and some can be loud, especially teenagers.

The long term tenants who took over the storage space reserve for the new comer. And, the cash payment required for almost everything at the front desk and laundy facility (credit card is useless in the facility).

The hostel is clean and neatly decorated. In addition, it is in a good location. The service is friendly and helpful. Another advantage is low-price access to the spa or gym nearby.

The downside is the doors to the showers in dormitories, which are glass and do not lock. The room and the toilet are really tight. For sleeping, you only receive bedding without a duvet, so it is worth considering taking a sleeping bag.

The location was great and I really liked the decor of the hostel. There was a place to prepare and eat your own meal. Free WIFI worked well all the time.

The disadvantage is the inability to rent an iron. It was very stuffy in my room and it was forbidden to open the windows. The air conditioning did not provide much cooling.

Everything was really good. Stuff friendly and Helpfull, rooms, beds were nice and clean.

I do not understand negative reviews on this hostel. Yes, check in is strictly from 15:00, but it is mentioned before you book. Yes you do have to bring your own towels or rent/buy then there. but its also mentioned. But you also paying descent price for good accommodation in the centre of Barcelona. So 0 problems from my point of view.
