The location, staff, and facility were wonderful! Everything was very clean and It was a comfortable stay! It was also so convenient to get around everywhere! I would come again and highly recommend staying here to others!

Small room but clean and nice. This is the first hotel that actually had shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion! None of the other hotels had these. Friendly and very helpful staff, so to say I do not remember their names now. But would like to thank the morning staff at the reception for their help in getting us checked in earlier than the check in time of 3. Also there is a metro station right across the street from this hotel, with was a boon for us to travel to Sagrada Familia and Park Gruell and some other places in Barcelona.

The bathroom door would make a loud creaking sound each time we opened and closed the door. There was also a lot of road work happening right outside the hotel and there was this horrible sewerage stink as soon as you stepped out of the hotel door. But thats something the hotel is not responsible for. Why was there such a nasty smell anyway?

I loved where the hotel was located. So close to everything, the staff were wonderful and so helpful and made our stay welcoming. The room was lovely, the beds were very comfy. Would definitely recommened here. And also cannot wait to go back.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The location is brilliant, right next to the gorgeous winding streets of the Born district. It’s a brilliant location by which you can explore much of the city on foot. The roof terrace is fun, and we had a nice drink up there one night after our evening meal. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and a generous size considering I booked the most basic double room. The staff on reception were very nice and we stored our luggage for a few hours easily on check-out day.

I stayed at the H10 hotel in Cordoba last year which was really ‘wow’! This one is a little rough and worn around the edges in comparison. However, in fairness, the Cordoba hotel was very new. I’d say that for a centrally located hotel, the Montcada is still very good.

I had a fantastic stay at H10 Montcada Hotel! The responsive and friendly staff made all the difference. They truly paid attention to my requests, providing a spacious room with a stunning city view. A special thanks to Alvaro and Samanta at the front desk for their friendliness and attentiveness. The birthday surprise of cava and cake was such a thoughtful gesture that made my day even more special!! The hotel’s perfect location in the Gothic Quarter and El Born district was perfect, with a metro station right across the street. Very central—in the heart of Barcelona’s most wonderful neighborhoods. Walking distance from all main places. I loved the delightful breakfast buffet and the cozy lobby area. The rooftop bar, with its breathtaking views of the city and Barcelona Cathedral, was the icing on the cake. I couldn't be happier with my choice!!

We loved this hotel and would come back if returning to Barcelona. Based on this experience, we also want to try H10 hotels in other locations. The staff was really service-minded helping us with everything from booking shuttle from airport to restaurants. The location is perfect. Close to the sea, very central but off the most busy streets. The rooms are small, but look exactly like the official photos. Very nice. The rooftop bar is a must for the panoramic view of Barcelona. Breakfast was varied and nice. It is a smaller hotel so it is more personal than larger hotels with more rooms. Metro station literally a few steps from the hotel with access to all must-see sites scattered around Barcelona. You can also walk everywhere.

Amazing place to stay in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona. Breathtaking view from the roof-top terrace where you can have a drink in a bar. Jacuzzi on the roof can be used also, hotel provides bathrobe and slippers. A room was average sized, but bathroom with a shower is quite spacious. The hotel provides a few complimentary services that makes stay even better. Metro station is directly in front of the hotel. Shopping street is around the corner, and the historical center in 3 minutes walking.

Till July 2025 a road construction in front of hotel makes reaching the hotel a bit difficult. However, even with window to the side where the work takes place, we didn't have any issues, as windows are well sound protected.

Location was very close to tasty food restaurants and cafes, lots of useful amenities came with the room (e.g. rituals shampoo, slippers, coffee), the bed was comfy, and the rooftop bar was a great spot with good views. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The room was a little bit noisy at night (e.g. the sound of the pipes from the room above), and too much light would get into the room at night (e.g. under the door to the room) but I slept well because I brought my sleep mask. I was a solo traveller so the room size was fine, but if more than one person stayed I think it would be a little small.

I stayed here for one night and moved to another hotel. Here was much much better. First of all, a coffee machine is a huge plus for me, and free cookies and sweets, lovely. At the reception area also seasonal fruits and drinks are provided. The breakfast place was cozy and there was a good selection of food. Staffs were very friendly. I loved a jug of fresh orange juice provided on the table. Location wise, it was not around the most busy street in Barcelona, so it was a bit relaxed.

The room was small and difficult to open the suitcase. If I stay with another person, it must be too small and uncomfortable.

The location was perfect, right in the old gothic quarter with the metro just across the road. Hotel staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful. The choice at breakfast was good. Rooms were very clean, towels changed every day and bed super comfy. The views from the rooftop sun terrace are great too.

A plug point by the large mirror in the bedroom would have been a bonus, making it easier to dry hair whilst using a mirror. Only one narrow drawer in the bedroom - must have been designed by a man. Where was I going to put my underwear etc? Also limited shelving in the wardrobe. There was a coffee machine but being English I prefer tea and there was no kettle!
