Very friendly professional staff. Very helpful and welcoming. Room was very well equipped and comfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I chose the location due to proximity to Sants station. It was 6 minutes walk away. The rook was comfortable and the costs were good for Barcelona. The hotel was secure and there was 24 hour reception. The breakfast was good quality. Sadly I was unable to eat much as I had to leave 15 minutes after breakfast was available (opens at 7am). The hotel is also close to Parc de l'Espanya Industrial which is a pleasant stroll. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. If you want to go into the centre then you can walk in half an hour or get metro line 1 to get to La Rambla or Plaza de Catalunya.

This hotel thinks it's OK to take one night's charge a few days before my arrival eventhough it was a PAY AT THE HOTEL offer on booking.com, which was the reason I booked this hotel. Thiss was very upsetting as I was only informed when my holiday at started. I was getting emails from the hotel and booking.com that my card was declined and threatening that my accommodation could be cancelled. Eventually after many emails the hotel agreed that I could pay at the hotel. This hotel thinks that is OK. Difficult to enjoy my stay as a result despite efforts of hotel staff I met to apologise for my experience. A PAY AT THE HOTEL offer should mean just that.

Location was amazing. It's close to a station with direct access to the BCN airport (about 1 hour). It's also close to various other bus stops, restos, and convenience stores/supermarkets. Even if you don't like the facilities, the entire location makes it worth at least one night if you want to get somewhere fast the next day. The bathtub was so nice and the water had good warmth and pressure. I just wanted to sleep there after a long day of walking and touring. The mini fridge was also really spacious and let me keep my souvenir cheeses, meats, and chocolates. And while I didn't get to use the pool (because it wasn't heated and it was like 20 Celsius at noon), it's nice knowing I can just take a dip anytime and use separate towels + have a great view of the surroundings! If it also matters, they offer free mineral water in the room and in their gym, so you can just take a bottle with you each time you head out. Shoutout to the maintenance staff! The sink had a clog when I got there and they fixed it immediately.

I only tried breakfast once and I think it's a bit overpriced for the variety. Maybe if it was cheaper by 3 or 4 Euro. I also wasn't sure how their heater/thermostat worked since I couldn't feel the warmth even at 30 celsius setting. Then, maybe it's automatic or running at minimal settings, but I couldn't feel the exhaust fan in the bathroom. The gym was too small and limited to what you can do, but this is more of a nitpick for travelers like me who like to get some workouts. For those expecting coffee or tea, they have a kettle so just bring your own. I didn't mind since I knew they didn't have them, but this is for those who expect coffee and tea services.

Very nice hotel, with a spacious room. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The first day we had a lot of rain and they gave us umbrellas to use which was nice. They also helped us print some stuff for our cruise and arranged a taxi to our cruiseport. The room was spacious, comfortable bed, nice tv with chromecast. And a minibar which you can fill up yourself . Which for us is a big plus. We also really liked the big rainshower, and the bathroom overall was nice. There also was a swimming pool at the rooftop with a nice view of Barcelona. Although we didn't use it that much because of the rain. Very close to it, there is a nice cocktailbar called Tirsa, where they also had great vermouth. It was close to the metro and easy to get around in Barcelona. I would definitely stay here again if I go to Barcelona again.

The check-in was at 15.00. Which was quite late for us, since we arrived at 09.30 in the morning, usually we then go and hang out at the pool, but since it was really raining we went into the city immediately. And it was a bit of a tired day for us.

Great hotel with amazing breakfast and very, very kind personnel. Room was clean with everyday cleaning service. Hotel has a pool on the roof which is nice benefit during summer season. Breakfast was really amazing with a lot of choises what you can eat and always refilled if needed. We have two children and I think that hotel is really family friendly, kids got lollipops almost everyday from someone :) And what is important - beds are comfortable.

Great location when traveling by train. Across the street from a bus stop which we used to get to Parc Guell. (Unfortunately the bus was behind schedule, so allow extra time for that if you plan to go to Parc Guell). Nice staff, nice lobby and breakfast room. Lots of good options for breakfast, including self-service cappuccino machine. Front desk staff and breakfast room staff were all friendly and attentive. Room was clean, bright, and large. It was nice to come back to after a long day of travel or sightseeing.

While close to the train station, the hotel is a bit of a walk to some of the main tourist areas. We don't mind lots of walking, and prefer to be close to train stations when traveling by train, but some might prefer to be right in the historic center or closer to shopping and restaurants.

This was the second one night stay we were due to have in the Catalonia Roma. We were emailed the day before our stay to advise that we had been moved to a sister hotel ( Catalonia Barcelona) as the hotel was undergoing refurbishment. We were given a bigger room than the one we had booked and the hotel had all of the facilities as the Catalonia. Unfortunately for us we had booked the original hotel due to its proximity to the station as we had heavy bags and the restaurant we had booked was close to the original hotel which meant getting taxis rather than walking. otherwise a very pleasant stay.

We relied on public transit for our entire stay, and this was perfectly fine for us. The hotel was about a 5-7 minute walk from a metro stop and from the Renfe train station. There were also bus stops nearby, but we only used the night bus one time while we stayed here (was very easy and nice though). The metro line connects to most major sites in the city with no or only one transfer. We stayed in their suite, which was very nicely renovated. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom/shower were incredible, which was great because we ended up needing two showers a day during the summer in Barcelona. There was a separate living room area, which could be closed off by a sliding door. It was nice to have the extra space for nearly a week in town. The staff of the hotel were very helpful. They gave us recommendations of places to eat as well as where to go in the city. There was also one woman who made sure to check to see if she could offer us a free breakfast when we experienced a minor issue in our room (which was resolved very quickly, so barely an inconvenience). The breakfasts were very nice. We had not gotten it included because we didn't want to fill up on breakfast as we were hoping to enjoy Spanish food while we were there, but I think it would have been a very nice breakfast to have (all you can eat buffet style with vegan and vegetarian options as well as things that Americans and British guests would normally have, in addition to Spanish options).

The location was a little out of the way so that we did need to allocate about 30 minutes to get anywhere, but we didn't mind this. We also found that noise could be heard from breakfast if we did not shut the door between the living room and the bedroom at night, which was a little inconvenient because it did make the A/C less efficient to close the door (i.e. the living room was ice cold and the bedroom was only moderately cool when this was done), but ultimately, we were very comfortable and didn't mind this aspect.
