The location is perfect and the lounge with outside terrance is nice and tidy. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful, really appreciated their help and also they met my request for a room in the highest floors.

Unfortunately the room was really aged, it needs to be fully repainted, not to talk about the water infiltration visible under the ceiling. They need to invest some money renovating. The lift once stopped a step below the level floor. The sofa pillows on the terrace definitely needs to be washed.

Well located hotel, a few steps from the Rambla, other important streets and historic sights. Many shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The neighborhood is lively and safe. Our room was facing the courtyard and was very nice, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is not staffed after 17:00 until 10:00am but check-in is possible outside these hours. In the common area that opens up to the patio has a microwave and you can use the plates and cutlery to warm up your food and take it to eat in the patio or in your room. Free coffee and tea and water is available. In general, this is a great hotel for a young couple that want to be in the centre of this exciting city.

The bathroom could do with some small smartening-up and re-decorating.

The location is perfect and for a "basic" hotel cleanliness and facilities were amazing. The room, bathroom and shower were spatious and the location is great (in the newer part of Barcelona, close to shops and restaurants).

I had the room next to the elevator shaft, onto which the window opened. Unforunately this made it difficult to get fresh air into the room (which was OK because there was airco) but the elevator ofcourse also made noises throughout the day and night. I'm sure no other room had this so just bad luck. It was not extremely loud but a little annoying here and there..

Great location - close to public transportation and larger squares. The rooms and common areas are renovated and new. Beds are comfy and large pillows. Room is equipped with a small desk, clothes cabinet with hangers and a safe. There is air conditioning and also a cieling fan. Also, they have water bottles available, which you can refresh in the reception.

Bathrooms are not updated, which mostly was a problem for the bath/shower. Although clean, the shower head had very low pressure due to the mechanism of changing between shower head and faucet for the bathtub.

Awesome location, great staff, super friendly and very helpful. Very nice lounge area with free coffee tea, biscuits and water. Excellent wifi with a an area where you can work and a quit terrace. We even were able to store our luggages for free for the day. Only thing to note that the economic room comes with a window that looks into a technical area, which makes it very very dark, with no natural light at all. We were very unhappy about it znd the staff suggested either refund in us or upgrading for a room with a mini balcony, which we did. It was 30 euro more but totally worth it. If i ever will be back to Barcelone will definitely come back here and recommend it to friends & family !

Top location beside the metro and the center, harry from the reception of the chic and basic reding is awesome, we had a problem with our room in chic and basic lemon, he offered us another room in reding which was so good with the same price so my recommendation is to book reding not lemon which is 100 meters away

All the window shutters aren’t working good and getting a lot of noise like wind whistles and street sound

Great location in the centre of town. Large and comfortable room. Good shower. Good bed. Friendly reception. Comfortable lounge area.

Door closer did not close door to room. Reception not 24/7. This was a problem when fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. No one came for a while, while we all stood out on the street, and when they finally came, no one came out to tell us that they had checked the hotel and all was clear

The location was about a minute's walk from the airport bus stop so really easy to arrive and leave luggage before exploring the city. Easy to walk to different areas, but also convenient for the metro. For a budget hotel, the bed was enormous and the planning and decor of the room was simple but thought through. The free water and coffee was much appreciated.

We would have liked more hangers in the rooms and English breakfast tea in the hot drinks area. The reception desk is only manned certain hours, not really a problem except for having to find someone to see our passports.

I like how central the hotel is. It’s accessible to everywhere especially the metro. It is near the Bouqueria and near Las ramblas. I also love how cool the hotel is, especially their outdoor terrace and their coffee corner (Free coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, candies and WATER). It had loads of dining space as well if you wanted to eat your takeaways at the comfort of your hotel. Room was spacious with nice little touches of wine and crisps. Will definitely be booking again.

Everything is 10/10. I just wished the beds and pillows were a bit soft but that’s okay. Everything is spot on.

Clean, cool, chic! Lovely patio! Cold water, still and sparkling on tap. Coffee and tea and biscuits in the breakfast area. Air conditioning, small balcony outside the room, great staff (be aware that the front desk is not 24/7,but their sister hotel around the corner is. Fantastic location in the Gothic Quarter, 2 blocks for Plaza Catalunya.

We were in a handicap accessible room and the shower would overflow the bathroom if you did not put down a rolled up bath towel on the floor on one side to keep the water from flowing out. There is really no way to fix this problem as it is open for wheelchair access. The bathroom and towels were cleaned each day by the staff.
