Generator is a big and reliable franchise and that applies here as well. The place is sleek and modern, with a lot of useful spaces, including a working area, coffee/breakfast area, club section and plenty of space to sit and hang out. 24/7 reception works great, so my check-in was a breeze even though my flight was late and I arrived well after midnight. Staff is professional and pleasant. There's a ton of activities organised for guests and the buffet breakfast is pretty satisfactory. Entrance to the room is via a key card, and wi-fi, while nothing special, will get the job done just fine. The 8 bunk-bed room was adequate and my bed had its own light, a tiny shelf and a wall socket for charging the phone over night.

I found the ensuite toilet and shower (separate) to be pretty uncomfortable. They are so tiny that one could barely move, and considering there's 8 people using them, they were constantly filled to the brim with other people's stuff, so there's nowhere to leave anything of your own. Wash basins are even completely unusable as the faucets are so low you can't get your hands under them, making simple hand washing impossible. So, there are some obvious flaws in the design. However, there are some additional shared bathrooms on each floor, which helped a lot, even though you may need to change floors to get to them.

Everything was very clean and the beds where comfortable. I loved that there was an affordable luggage storage service. The facility was easy to navigate.

When we arrived, our beds were being used by someone else. We saw that a notice that was left to that other visitor, but that added some confusion to the whole process. There should be a better record of who leaves and who stays. There should be a separation between the bed's area and the shower/toilet/dressing area. When someone staying at the same dorm arrives very late at night, there is no way to don't wake up everyone else with the light and noise. That separation would at least keep some light away from sleeping visitors. The toilet and shower rooms in the dorm were way too tight... They need some more surfaces or hooks to hang on things.

Everything was so good, the staff , the location is in the center of Barcelone, , close to everything. I love generator hotels.

The rooms were so small , you canr even move comfortable, even to put stuff in ur locker its hard.

It was very good location and clean. Easy check in and check out . We so many things inside the building with good price if we need it.

The hostel had a lovely vibe. Private room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a room with terrace which was nice. Metro station was around 7 mins walk.

Bathroom was a bit small and needed some maintenance but was clean.

The location is fantastic, the industrial design and architecture of the property as well as rooms are excellent for young people or family as well. Fantastic rooftop to chill and enjoy. having bathroom and shower in each dormitory rooms as well as common bathroom and shower in each floor is really convenient. The staffs from reception, housekeeping and everybody else are so accommodating, friendly and helpful. During my stay, Kenya , subir simo, samu and vittoria were really amazing and kind to my every request. I highly recommend this place for your stay while in Barcelona.

I loved the location. But mostly I loved the tacos across the road. Maybe some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. You guys have amazing food ! And the bar was good. Amazing rooftop. A little bit of everything that you want and need while on holiday in Barcelona. I will be staying there every time from now on.

I paid for a delux room with double bed and I was given two singles put together so me and my boyfriend kept sliding apart and had to keep putting the beds back together. The duvet covers were strange as they weren’t fully attached to the cover and no way to button up. But not like the ones in hotels. Was impossible to keep the duvet cover on.

We loved it so much. I'm always anxious about finding a comfortable yet affordable place to stay at when travelling. Generator is a 10/10 for young people looking to explore the city and have a good time. Events, bar, kitchen, chill area, games, private room+bathroom+terrace options, daily cleaning service, good location, a lot of nearby shops, restaurants, bars and 24/7 supermarkets, late check out options, baggage lockers and so much more! I'm so happy to find out that they have rooms in many other countries. Definitely will consider staying at their properties in other cities as well as in Barcelona again. The staff were kind and helpful. Awesome experience for a great price.

Nothing bad or worth saying here. You won't like it only if you're super fancy and prefer exclusive and expensive hotels.

Location. It is top handy location to explore Barcelona. You can walk within 20 minutes to the most tourist attractions. Public transports are easy to reach( by bus or metro). Lots of nice good value but delicious restaurants and cafes. The bed is comfortable. The top roof is amazing and relaxing. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean. If you have a window view, it is amazing view. I was staying in the room with terrace. The room is light due that the sun com through the window. I had a wonderful stay. The staff's are very friendly and helpful.

I like the location. It is handy to travel with public transport. You can access the public transport quickly by metro or bus. You can actually walk to the famous tourist attractions withing 30 minutes. Surrounded by lots of good value restaurants. The roof top has a nice view and so relaxing. The staff's are really kind and helpful. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean.

No water cooker and refrigerator in the room but it is not a big point because you can use the water cooker and refrigerator of the hostel in the kitchen. There is no television if you need it but we dont miss it.
