The location was excellent for our plans and interests for our stay. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Good advice/guidance given on various questions and always very accurate.

Two little negatives. The first relates to the ‘green’ policy of reusing towels - for a five night stay we consider two sets of towels sufficient. For the first three nights towels left hanging were not changed but the next night once used bath towels were changed despite being left hanging. Follow your published policy! Second, although we ate breakfast only once in the hotel, orange juice seemed to be rationed. Other juices were available in self-service but not orange. Why?

I recently stayed in Barcelona for a few days, and I must say that this property is in an exceptional location—central, yet quiet, and well-served. The hotel is just an 8-minute walk from "La Pedrera," and it is conveniently close to metro stations and a taxi stand, only a few meters from the hotel entrance. Each floor of the hotel is dedicated to a different artist, and we stayed on the fifth floor, dedicated to Roy Lichtenstein. Our room overlooked an inner courtyard and was very comfortable, both in terms of the beds and pillows, as well as the soundproofing. The cleanliness of the room upon arrival and the daily housekeeping were also commendable. Although we had initially booked the room on a room-only basis, after sampling the hotel's breakfast offering, we decided to enjoy breakfast there again the following day. With a combination of buffet and à la carte hot dishes made to order, the selection was diverse and would satisfy even vegetarians and vegans—easily one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. The staff were incredibly kind and professional, and I would particularly like to thank Gloria and Oriol for their exceptional service. Their professionalism made a real difference during our stay.

What a lovely hotel! The staff were so lovely from the reception to the bar staff. Always service with a smile and a lovely welcoming drink too.The pool area was a welcome treat on a very hot day, and the outside bar area was a really pretty spot to enjoy an evening drink. Our room was cleaned every day wand stocked with fresh coffee and complimentary water, which was very much appreciated.

The pool became quite murky on some days and there were parts of the pool which could do with a little tlc and repairing. The hotel is quite a walk from the beach too but the area was still lovely and close enough to some of the main tourist points.

Great location, nice area, attractive, art work, nice rooms, nice pool area, lovely restaurant terrace. We loved being able to fill up our water bottle. We loved being welcomed with cold water & glass of cava after over 24 hours travelling on a very hot day. Our balcony & view was lovely. The bed was comfy.

The pool is very very very very very small. The air conditioning reverted back to central control sometimes & we could not turn it on. It was very hot. The food was average.

The hotel is lovely, with the genuine artwork throughout. In our case, traveling with friends, having the nice bar and patio in the restaurant made it easy and comfortable to spend time together without needing to stay out late just to chat. It is also conveniently located close to transportation and nice bars and restaurants, and also 2 or Gaudi's famous houses.

I like to travel cheap and would have stayed in a simpler place if I'd been alone, but I did appreciate the value of having all of the extra services when traveling with friends.

From the very moment our taxi drew up and the staff came across to take our bags and check us in (we were early, but the room was ready) we felt we were honoured guests. The reception was super-friendly, the formalities were dealt with professionally and expeditiously. In short, this was the hotel experience one often wishes for but seldom encounters. We were delighted to discover that this hotel was part of a chain, and we will definitely keep an eye out for them on our future travels.

Loved the design of the hotel and all the art, there was even an art exhibition in the basement with pieces from a famous artist for sale. I liked the outdoor terrace and the rooftop pool that was a real bonus! Beautiful view, and no kids were there, except one day some annoying party people, otherwise it was kind of quiet (though it was September). The room was a decent size, I liked the view from the street, looked out on some trees too, and I could look out on all the action below (I like that). I liked the bathroom too, the fridge worked well. Staff was really friendly and even were up for chatting. The location was absolutely perfect. I was sad to leave and regretted not staying longer.

Kinda expensive but this is Barcelona. It was pretty noisy facing the street, although I knew it would be like that so I brought earplugs and I had my white noise app and I slept fine. But you could hear every word of the party people below who hang out in the streets till 2am. Alternatively there is a nice courtyard view. Some maintenance was lacking, the carpets in the hallway were lumpy, there were loose cords in places, wobbly doorknobs, lots of places that needed painting, and the pool had a wobbly ladder & missing a piece of wood in one place. None of these things really bothered me that much though.

The feel of the size of the room was surprisingly good compared to other hotels due to a nice room layout. The liquid soap, shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion had one of the nicest smell. My wife loved it too. The room was also very clean. Top-notch. And the lobby was like an art museum - which it is actually. My wife and I spent time just admiring the artworks and taking photos of them. Lastly, the location is close to so many nice restaurant and bakeshop choices. We even found a bakeshop 2 blocks away which sold everything gluten-free.

Nothing I can think of.

We were welcomed with a bottle of Cava, chocolate covered strawberries, and two small boxes of artesanal chocolate. Loved having our own robes and slippers. I accidentally left my wedding band and engagement ring in the room and I wasn't sure it they would be there when I came back into to the room given Barcelona reputation of pickpockets and things missing in hotels but needless to say they were both there. 100% will come back to this hotel. Best hotel so far during my 2 week trip in Europe.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and appreciated. A glass of cava with some gorgeous Italian men and the lobby filled with the most incredible art! Our room was on the Andy Warhol floor so the carpet was coke bottles and Marilyn Monroe graced the glass between our bathroom and our bedroom. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff and quiet and perfect location, just a few blocks from Gaudi houses and great restaurants.
