Location and staff are wonderful!

The main issue was the women’s showers. There are no locks on the showers or the door leading to the showers, and the door leading to the showers swings open, so you basically had to quickly be naked while you grabbed your towel and hope nobody walked by at that time. Another option would be to bring the towel into the shower with you but you’d risk getting it wet because it is a very small space. The water also sprayed outside the shower quite a bit and then guests are asked to mop up the water that gets out. And then the ceiling of the shower was pretty gross.

Very very good place! I was in few Hostels in Barcelona but since i visited Hostel BARCELO i am their guest last 4 years. Always i was spenindg great time there, rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, Lobby bar with sofás and kitchen is big, there is a fridge so everybody can leave food and prepare. Staff is amazing, only nice words i have for people who are Working in Hostel Barcelo, always open to talk and very welcome. For location no doubt i recommend this Hostel because its also close to the every important and famous place in Barselona that turists visiting.

The beds have curtains, which means a lot for privacy. The location is great, not too far and transportation is available. Really a nice place and I'm looking forward to coming there again because it was really a nice experience. Accommodation is important, but even more so are the people who make the place special and make you feel welcome!✨

The staff is amazing. It was really a great experience. They did a great job also with the cleaning. Showers are always working fine, and the restrooms are always so clean. It doesn't even look like other people are using it at all, that's crazy. I had such a great time just talking to the staff whenever I could and learning more about Barcelona. The beds are really comfortable, it felt like home. Another thing that is worth to mention, they have curtains in each bed, so it makes it very private to sleep, also each bed has an individual power station and lamp, so if you want to read at night that cool book or charge your phone privately (maybe overnight), this was so helpful since I need my phone to do pretty much everything here in Europe. The common area is very comfy too, with great sofas and an external area to hangout with a lot of chairs.

Well it's hard to say but I guess was that mostly of the crowd here (people staying) did not look like the party type, very quiet (which is good for mostly of the time). Even thou they are all international, mostly are not really interested in exchanging experiences or getting to know you. So it is nothing actually to do with the hostel just the type of people that was here when I was.

Location excellent for the city centre Easy to get to via Metro and walking. Easy to walk to most places of interest. The hostel was very clean overall. All the shared facilities were maintained and cleaned very well and frequently. Room was clean given that is was shared with others. Was very secure

Staff are exceptionally helpful and go out of there way to find an answer or a solution. Great facilities for early arrival before check in and after checking out with secure luggage storage. As this was the first time I have used a hostel I could not have had a better experience

Fantastic location, easy reachable. Many supermarkets, cafes, bakeries in walking distance. Also several metro stations. As for the hostel, it is very clean and cute place. There are several rooms, kitchen area, common area and two terraces. Also, several bathrooms, also cleaned regularly. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. They are at your service for everything you need.

In my case it was the price, but it is entirely my fault. It was during Primavera Sound festival and I booked it the night before. But I am sure if you book your accommodation on time, you will get more than a fair bargain.

The staff is exceptional,very respectful and kind. Such a calm environment and everyone respects each other's space and stuff. Always clean and tidy, lovely breakfast too. The bus stops in front of the hostel or a minute or two away which is so handy and the underground is 7min away. Not fat from the main attractions in my opinion, lots is shops, cafes around.

If we had one more toilet would be top but nothing that is logistically possible but overall no issues at all.

Very pleasant and clean hostel with agreeable and generous staff. Nice amenities, paper towels, everything you'll need at a hostel, plus two nice terraces. Mattress and pillows are comfy, clean and nice to touch bedsheets, warm and comfy blanket. Light + socket + tiny shelf near the pillow. Lockers under the bed, they give you a padlock for a returnable deposit which you have to pay anyway for the key to the place. Oatmilk and soy milk at breakfast, fridge, rice cooker, kettle and microwaves in the kitchen, no stove. Typical hostel best practices on the bilingual posters everywhere: like "clean after yourself" rules and free-to-use food & toiletries sharing shelves. Common area has lots of seating space, TV plays pleasant background music.

The beds (although with curtains, which is a great plus!) are metal, so they squeak and make noize every time someone moves (the reception has earplugs to combat it🙃) . The ladder to the top bunk is very hard to climb on and descend. Breakfast had everything sugary, no savory options (apart from the fruits) — would be nice to have boiled eggs and bread/butter/cheese/ham to make sandwiches. Luggage storage and drying racks are outside, so might get wet if there's rain. Shower rooms and showers themselves are a bit cramped, so might not be comfortable for plus-sized guests both height- and width-wise.

I am glad that I found this Hostel. It's a very nice place to be. It's very central. This was my first experience with a Hostel 'cause in the past I only booked some Hotels. This time I want to give it a try because of the Experience.. and it was the best Decision I've made. The place and the people are very nice and helpful. If you are not a big speaker its ok too. I met a lot of nice and interesting people. It's clean and beautiful. It feels more like 'home' and thats cool. And especially as a woman who loves to travel alone, this place is safe. I will come back. 😊

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff is, it was a wonderful stay for me and the location is amazing. The attention to the details are nice, there are curtains near the bunk for the sense of privacy, free earbuds and cleaning items. The breakfast was nice and the living room is pretty cosy so you can meet with other travelers. Because it is in an apartment, you feel like a local when you go to the balcony. Great stay!

The manuel keys for the lockers might be noisy because of late check ins, also they are right under the bunker bed so it is a bit uncomfortable to put stuff when someone is sleeping.
