The room was very clean and comfortable if a little smaller than expected. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great especially at the end of a busy day. All the team there were really welcoming, friendly and helpful. Good air con was great as it was really hot during my visit. There were good choices for my vegetarian breakfast and a choice of nice inside or covered courtyard eating areas. The location is pretty central and it’s easy to get to the main areas (La Ramblas is less than a 10 min walk and Placa Catalunya - where a lot of the hop on hop off buses operate from, was about 15 mins), with some interesting buildings along the way. A kettle in the room would have been welcome but my room was very close to the eating area and I could make a drink whenever I wanted to. It was quiet inside and felt like a little sanctuary after a day of sightseeing.

When I first arrived there in the taxi (at about 11pm) I was glad I hadn’t taken the public transport then walking there option as the immediate area seemed a bit rough and I wasn’t sure how safe that would have been, but I walked from there, and back to there, every day and felt fine and I walked and took public transport back to the airport. Not sure if I’d have felt quite the same if it had been dark though. The roof garden is currently a work in progress but it’s still nice to have an outside space option.

The hotel was very nice, well renovated, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, ours was small but we booked at the last minute. The location may make some people a little nervous or uncomfortable but we did not have any issues. The property itself is well secured and they provide a roof top terrace that was very nice for a late night drink and smoke. We did not have the breakfast as we left early however they offer free coffee/tea to the guests throughout the day.

I had heard that the people of Spain are upset that many properties are being bought up and used for tourists causing a housing shortage and affordability issue so I was trying to book at what would not be deemed as that type of property. Having said that I can not confirm if this establishment is one of those properties but given the location after we arrived that was my first thought.

My stay at this hotel in Barcelona was exceptional from the very first day to the last. The hotel was incredibly well-organized and impeccably clean, which made a great impression right away. Each day, the staff ensured my room was cleaned to perfection, making it a pleasant space to return to after exploring the city. The location of the hotel was also excellent, providing easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The staff was not only friendly but also attentive, always ready to assist with any needs or questions I had. Their kindness and professionalism made me feel welcome and valued throughout my entire stay. The combination of a beautiful room, a clean environment, and an inviting atmosphere on the terrace created a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona and look forward to returning in the future!

The room was clean, beds comfy, air-con worked very well , fresh, nice breakfast, small swimming pool and a terrace are bonuses.

The size of the room, missing table and chair maybe and normal hotel amenities (safe, fridge)... The location is not the greatest, as the closest metro has been closed for summer maintenance (not the hotel's fault, but still inconvenient). Not enough staff serving breakfast, felt they are being a bit exploited and couldn't keep up with the amount of people , what probably affected customer experience during busy times (10 ish). Overall not a bad hotel, however a bit pricey for what it has to offer. You have to be prepared to climb the stairs 😊

The location of the hotel is really good, near to the city center. There is no need to use public transport. Breakfast as in the boutique hotel, basic products, but every day fresh. The waiter was very polite and helpful. All the time, asking if we need something else.

The hotel is in the process of renovation, so from 8 am 7 days per week, there is noise of the renovation team. You can not sleep. The walls in the room are from plasterboard, so you can hear everything. Rooms are new and cleaned every day, but also very small. There is not even space to place a suitcase and unpack it.

I like location as a tourist attraction are nearby

It’s not safe to walk alone in mid night and early morning.Today I leave hotel in 5:30 Am to go airport but when I came outside of hotel gate then one thief came and try to rob me thanx to god some locial people come there and help me . I feel so bad 😔😔

The Location was very close to city center, but in the meantime in a multicultural neighborhood. At first gave us the impression of not a safe place, but it was very quiet. The staff were very polite, the receptionist willing to help and assist at any time. Also, the staff at breakfast, they offered orange juice for our kid, and we felt very welcomed.

The room was nice equipped but a little small.

- staff were very friendly and helpful. They even offered to assist with organising pick up with a tour provider and speak for us. - room was clean, bed and pillows comfy and shower worked great. - i didn't realise i had booked the smallest room. If you are booking pay attention to the room size you are booking.

- the location of the hotel in terms of the area. It can be quite scary walking around in the area.

Everything was great, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Cool location within walking distance to the Gothic Quarter and 10 minutes from Plaza Catalunya. Clean apartments and comfortable beds. Special thanks to the hotel staff, always polite and ready to help

Receptionist was helpful and friendly when we arrived and checked out. We arrived early and they stored our bags until check in. Approx 10minutes walk to Plaça de Catalunya. The room was small but it was ideal for us as we only stayed 1 night. We had room only but we were told we could avail of tea or coffee at any time.

Personally, I didn't feel comfortable on the streets around the hotel.
