I travel to attend a conference in Barcelona at the end of October 2024. The caring staff was wonderful towards all of us, including our dog. There was no hiding extra fee to take our pet with us, what's more, they were super lovely. The parking facilities are great and, as we were almost in Halloween, the deco in the hotel was awesome.

Although the hotel is not central, it's really well connected and it offers calmness to the guest instead of being surrounded by noise and people. It also has a great garden near by and anything you can think of surrounding so... no need to stay in the main streets!

The hotel was clean, and the service was very nice, with staff always ready to assist. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city center, with just a 4-minute walk to metro line 4, which takes you to the main shopping street and cathedral area. It was good value for the price, especially considering that Barcelona is a very touristic city where hotel prices are pretty high during peak season. I would consider staying here again.

There was one downside to our stay. We were placed on the first floor, and unfortunately, our window faced a higher ground level. Because of this, we couldn’t open the window, which resulted in the air in the room feeling a bit stale and musty, with a slight smell of mold. While this was a minor inconvenience, it’s something to be aware of if you’re considering staying on the lower floors.

The room was very comfortable and everything was kept very clean which is most important. There wasn’t much space for luggage for anymore than 2 people. The breakfast was good and had quite a few different things but €12 still seems much, it should honestly be included in the price of the room.. The cleaning staff were very nice and always greeted us kindly! (They also do a great job)

The kitchen staff wasn’t the nicest. The location says it’s close to many things but it was quite a walk from most tourist sites than I anticipated. Still a good and safe area.

Breakfast was not anything special, like non of the Ibis breakfast is. Difference is that this Ibis is more expensive than Abu Dhabi Ibis, and food is worse, as is the Hotel. Food is like any other European Ibis you have been to. Room is nice, bar is nice.

First nights we got third bed that was miniature, like it is for kid. But there were 3 adults in the room so we had to switch rooms next day. If you have 3 people staying in room, make sure you tell you need full size beds or you will end up sleeping on kids bed.

We liked the common area, nicely decorated for Christmas and cozy. Breakfast buffet seemed liked a very good deal for 10€ (but we didn't have a chance to try it). The room was clean and fit our needs for a few days, nothing too special though. The area is very centric and close to buses, metro and shopping center, also not many cars passing as it is semi pedestrian so quiet and nice for kids with some parks close.

The room was quite basic and a bit small for three, not enough space to hang coats, clothes or place your things, the extra bed was a folded type and a bit uncomfortable (the main double bed was pretty good though!). The area although very centric lucks "life", it feels very empty as it is mostly a business area with big skyscrapers (fortunately quite close you can find Rambla Poblenou). It was not exactly value for money, although for Barcelona prizes.... Another detail, the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner due to Christmas for 4 days, I think they should have warned this in advance cause it is the time of year when you struggle the most to find open restaurants around and you count on the hotel for that.

Breakfast was amazing! Lots of variety of food including hot dishes, ham, cheese, vegetables, fruits, pastry, bread, sweets. They even had a great deal of tea choices and to go cups for your favorite coffee! The room was comfortable even with the extra bed. We loved that they offered a two + extra bed room instead of the double bed room as soon as they found out we where 3 women checking in. The stuff was super polite and helpful with good English.

The extra bed's night light was unfunctional. The room was quite noisy with open windows, but as soon as we closed them it got nice and quiet.

The staff were very professional, polite and super helpful. The day we checked our we were taking the night ferry to Mallorca. They allowed us to keep our car in the hotel car park until late afternoon. This saved us the inconvenience of relocating it whilst we went to the beach. We have already recommended the hotel to a friend who is in Barcelona in October. We will definitely stay here again.

It was a shame that there are no tea/coffee making facilties in the bedroom.

Breakfast was good but we don’t eat bread so we ate out a lot. The rooms are cleaned everyday and fresh towels every day. Beds were made every day with fresh linnens. Airconditioning worked very good. Personell was friendly. Not too friendly but very helpful. Rooms are small but neat. Bathroom small but with a good shower. Also there was a roofed terrace where i could smoke.

There was no airconditioning in the lobby recreation area so we didn’t play ping pong very much. It was too hot. For us is the location a little bit too far from the centre. But with a car it’s perfect.

Clean, with a place for smoking, parking available, pet friendly, good breakfast, some people from staff were kind and polite.

One person from staff was rude. They did not provide any instruction for wifi and when I requested those, they asked me to give my phone to them in order to configure the user/password for wifi, which is not acceptable. The phone is a private thing and it should not be shared with the hotel staff. When I refused to give the phone they threaten me that they won’t help me!!! In the end they provided me the instructions for accessing the wifi. Again, only one person from staff was rude, the others were very kind. Another thing, there was no glass or tea in the room, but given the price they should provide these as most hotels do.

The hotel is really good. We've been here for 6 nights and we have no complaints about it. We had the breakfast included option and it's definitely worth it. You have really all types of breakfast - from sandwiches to oatmeal, from eggs to fruits. Stuff is really helpful, on spot 24/7, and at 3 o'clock they even asked should we order you a taxi. Cleaning of the room is on top level, everything new each day. Real complement to cleaning ladies The price is really good for the city like Barcelona. Beaches is in 20-min walk. If you are looking for the good hotel for a reasonable price - that one is for you

From downgrades I would add here is a lot of birds on the terrace, which are completely messing up the tables. Then you have no place to dry your clothes out, especially with the air cooler working non-stop in the room. As well there's no terrace, which could've been used for drying clothes
