We liked everything during our stay. We received a warm welcome from Adrian at the reception and his colleague who helped us with our bags. The staff at breakfast were outstanding. Special thanks to Alicia who went out of her way to assist us, and nothing was too much trouble. She gave us a lot of tips for what to see and do in Barcelona. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was excellent as it was very close to all of the top attractions. The breakfast was superb.

The coffee could have been better as it was very weak and no taste. There were only two English speaking channels (news) on the TV. We could not find any option to add subtitles to any other mainly Spanish channels.

The room was more spacious than expected and felt more like a suite. Nice to have a small balcony looking onto the street. The bed was large and comfortable with nice bed linen and pillows. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of foods and the breakfast area was very relaxing. Staff were all lovely and very attentive. The hotel was located within a few minutes walk of several metro stations and within short walking distance to many of the sights and main shopping areas so ideally located. There are also several cafes, bars and restaurants very close by. Although outwith the busiest areas there was, as anticipated, some traffic noise overnight.

Traffic noise disturbed us a bit overnight but only because we're not used to it. It was something we had expected due to the location. Obviously it's outwith the hotels control when within a busy city.

The hotel is in a great location, it's really easy to get around from there. It's comfortable, clean and staff were friendly/helpful, particularly at breakfast. There was a problem with the hot water on our first day. The issued was resolved by the following morning and Icon gave us a part-refund without being asked which was a nice surprise. They also left some sweets and drinks in the room with a note of apology. This was also a nice touch. We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults, 15 years and 12 years) in a quadruple room which was big and spacious enough. I would definitely stay at Icon again if we return to Barcelona.

I wanted to change room type because 2 of us were not travelling but the hotel never replied although they were very responsive with the rest of my query. I asked again on arrival and was kindly told that my booking was non refundable, a bit of flexibility would have been appreciated Aside from the property is great.

Hotel is located on a quite street but at the same time is very central. Breakfast is one of the best I had in a hotel (and we’ve been to Barcelona many time mes before). The hotel staff is on another level! Guys from the front desk are genuinely attentive and friendly, and the hotel manager Alicia is a gem. She made our stay in the hotel really special by her constant attention to our family (and other guests equally) needs. I have stayed in this hotel for 6 nights with my family. Its an excellent hotel , very nice interior, classy and new. All in this hotel was perfect. The Hotel is very clean, with nice breakfast and perfect atmosphere. we were supposed to stay for two nights then we extended our stay. Location is 5mn walk from hotel. The rooms are very clean, spacious and well decorated. The staff were very helpful and hyper nice ( Harish, Louis, Belem, Marti and others and even the guy on the pool and the manager "Alicia" is wonderful she helped us in many ways and was supportive and very nice. She offered too a nice gift for my kids birthday. Harish went under the rain to stop a taxi for us. For anyone who is going to Barcelona you have to visit this hotel and disregard any negative comment that was mentioned in the poor reviews. Believe me I was there and there is nothing bad to mention about this hotel. Thank you again for every single worker in this hotel for your nice hospitality.

Nothing all is perfect.

The location was great close to all the shopping and restaurants plus other attractions. Still it was not on a very busy street. Loved the breakfast. The selection was excellent. Our waitress Chaima served us very well. She is extremely friendly and efficient. The front seat staff was very friendly also. The waitress in the restaurant was very efficient and friendly. Over all I had a very wonderful stay.

The here’s not centrally air conditioned so outside the rooms was pretty warm.

Central location with taxi’s nearby so everyrhing is within 15 min. Great rooms and friendly staff. We had a room nearby the rooftop pool and bar. Great breakfast in the morning!! Great place to stay

The resro downstairs needs some upgrading in terms of quality and creativity of the food. Too simple for a olace like that.

Incredible. Book it! The breakfast is an unbelievable selection. Better than some 5 star resorts we've been to. The rooms are luxe and capacious. Location is within walking distance to many arractions if you can handle the heat. We're a family with 2 kids & managed easily. It's great to have a cool off pool in the city, that was a must have. To be clear, it is just big enough to dip in but no less pleasant. Thank you, Icon!

The service was fantastic from the guys on reception who provided us with helpful information and were extremely helpful with our luggage, to Anna at the bar/poolside bar who chatted with us and our children, encouraged them to go in the pool and brought my daughter a teddy to cheer her up when she had hurt her lip and couldn't go swimming. Thank you!! The terraced area is beautiful and we had it to ourselves for a few hours one morning, so relaxing and pretty.
