Location was perfect direct on Ramblas. Stayed for two nights pre-cruise. Walking distance to almost everything and close to metro. Spotlessly clean and modern private bathroom. Room was exactly as described and accurate photos. Comfortable beds. Jose B. provided excellent assistance with dining and entertainment options. Our room was across from the reception desk but was absolutely quiet. Don't understand complaints about facilities. ByPillow Ramblas is an outstanding option for a short Barcelona trip for those on a budget. Great value and would stay again.

Lack of hooks to hang jackets. Otherwise, no complaints. Note: If looking for luxury accommodations look elsewhere and pay more. Not for you if you have mobility issues and/or can't carry your luggage up two flights of stairs. Clearly stated in the description that this is an historical building and there is no elevator. This wasn't a problem for us and Jose B even graciously helped carry up a suitcase.

Not sure it was mentioned that there were 2 long flights of stairs and no elevator. Would have been helpful. And the toilet smelled very quickly- was definitely part of the pipes.

I have stayed here before. It is quiet and the location is ideal for access to the Rambla and the historic area. It is also great if you want to run along the harbour or sea front. The reception staff are very welcoming and remembered me from my previous visit. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable.

No problem with the hotel but the way that Booking.com passes clients to the hotel to complete the payment does not work. I frequently have issues with paying for hotels in Barcelona prior to arrival. The hotel says that there is a problem with Booking.com passing customer emails. I receive repeated emails about making payment but cannot action them.

The position was excellent for exploring Barcelona. The room was clean and bright with tea and coffee facility in the room and a mini fridge. Staff friendly. Basic but great location. Had good secure lockers for storing luggage. Great for weekend break.

The stairs!! 4 flights of stairs are difficult with luggage. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone who struggles with stairs. Not for longer visits. Communication not great we arrived to leave luggage as arranged and no one came for 30 mins as not staffed all day. Phone numbers have recorded message only.

Excellent helpful staff (Hosea, desk clerk in particular). Very clean, excellent location and amenities were above and beyond expectations.

This couldn’t be helped and it didn’t affect the wonderful time we had but, my husband is walking impaired and a handicap entrance would help. Only mention this because you wanted a negative. It didn’t affect our wonderful opinion.

The location was excellent with a metro station on front of the hotel. The rooms were spotless. This hotel had the nicest, most helpful staff I have met for a long time. My mom had her birthday during our visit. The staff (Ambar) remembered her by a little gift. That felt very special. Hotel did not offer breakfast but it did not matter since breakfast places can be found a few metro rides away. Lastly, we highly appreciated the hotel organized tax to the airport. That worked out very well. We had the same wonderful driver both ways. Price was same as normal taxis.

The only minor improvement I can think off was the shower. Being a short person, it was hard to take a shower with one shower head high on the ceiling. But in all honesty, since everything else was so good, my shower experience was quickly forgotten.

The staff was Amazing! The room was exceptionally clean. They let us store our luggage until our room was ready. The view was spectacular but the LOCATION was EXCELLENT!!! You are right smack in the middle of everything. Plenty of food, vendors, cabs, bus n metro. I rate this a 5

The steps...omg horrible!! I'm not exactly sure but maybe 20 then a landing then 15 n a landing then same thing again. If you're young n strong great. We had 7 bags, 2pp over 75 yrs old it's was...but the staff helped. Like I said, they were Awesome!

The staff were really helpful and accommodating, the facilities were comfortble and clean and it was good value for money considering it was in a peak tourist area.

No shade on the the facilities but the room was a little small for us considering we were there for a holiday and not work.

First: you have to pay the tax. It’s walking distance to a lot places. We had A room with three beds and private bathroom. It’s very good if you are frugal, and on a budget. When we first got there we saw all the stairs and was Kinda of bummed because we had to go up with our suitcase but the girl that was working was super Duper sweet and helped us. Being that we was traveling all of Europe for a month we had a lot of bags and we did a lot of shopping. It has its pros and it’s cons, but it’s manageable. Location: easy, walking, train , electric bikes, buses. In the center, restaurant , Glovo eats, shopping. Bedroom had a balcony and yes you can hear the noise, but not so bad, when people are sitting in desk area you can hear also. I would recommend soundproof doors. Beds were super comfortable, ac, bathroom had hot and cold water. Spacious for all of our luggage. Nightlife!! Right at in the center. Will stay again!!
