Room was clean and of a good size with good facilities in the room. All views from the hotel were great especially ours as it was overlooking the river. There was a great choice of food at breakfast. Also the location was perfect for exploring Bilbao and felt like a very safe envronment especially with my young family. The gym and the views from the swimming pool are a great selling point.

The only slight issues I had was that at breakfast it could get quite busy and in some areas it was quite narrow - it could be a bit more spaced out so people don't get on top of others. i was especially worried with a few young children. The other was the lack of parking at the hotel and this could be made a bit more clearer to be able to book parking before for example rather than turn up and hope for the best. Although there is good parking in the area.

Great room - lovely outlook over the park. Walking distance to the Guggenheim. Euros were on in the bar which was great but slightly awkward to also have a large group doing a wine tasting in there at the same time.

The mini bar wasn't stocked with water or champagne which was a bit of a shame. Also not the nicest welcome as we were a little early and no effort was made to get us into a room - at check in time our room still wasn't ready so we had to upgrade at a cost to get into a room in time for a work call. Feel perhaps the room could have been offered at no charge given our room wasn't ready but.

Lovely location, rooms very nice and comfortable. Pool very nice and sauna/gym also very good. Staff were very good, front of house staff and concierge excellent.

Housekeeping could be better. Rooms needed hoovering. The breakfast was a big dissapointment. First the room is a big basement room with no natural light and a carpet stained and grubby. The food is average and not worth the price.

WE'VE BOOKED A PREMIUM ROOM, RIVER/STREET VIEW, VERY COMFORTABLE, INCL. A LARGE BATHROOM. THE VIEW WAS SUPERB. BED SIZE AND QUALITY EXCELLENT. BREAKFAST BUFFET GREAT BOTH IN TERMS OF QUALITY AND VARIETY! VERY FRIENDLY STAFF IN THE FRONT DESK! LOCATION WAS ALSO GREAT, FEW MINUTES WALKING DISTANCE FROM A TRAM STATION AND ONE TRAM STATION AWAY FROM THE GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM.

THE STAFF IN THE BREAKFAST AREA DIDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH (WITH FEW EXCEPTIONS) AND WE HAD A COMMUNICATION ISSUE FOR ANY REQUEST OUT OF THE SELF-SERVICE BUFFET. F.I. ORDERING EGGS WAS DIFFICULT AND TIME CONSUMING. THE ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE BUT THE AGEING OF THE BUILDING WAS EVIDENT.

Dani on Reception was most helpful when we checked in and nothing was too much. He gave us some great tips and places to go the beach and the old town to name a few! The man in the bar we didn't catch his name but he made a fabulous cocktail every night for me when I stayed it was delishious and served in a dinosaur egg shaped glass his attention to detail was brilliant and would always come find us to see of we wanted another before he closed the bar he was lovely very friendly.

Gorgeous hotel which has just been renovated. Lovely, big, luxurious room . Great bed, large and comfortable. Great food in the restaurant with lovely staff. Subterranean parking was available at the time of our stay. Superb location for the old town, the Guggenheim and boat trips etc.

The swimming pool was not available at the time of our stay.

Our 2nd floor rooms overlooked a park which was hosting a rock concert on the first evening. We requested a room change, as we had not ordered a rock concert blasting at us. The staff were hostile and said they had only twin rooms, or we could pay for an upgrade. I immediately reacted against this, and eventually one of us was offered another room which we accepted - but this also overlooked the rock concert. Also, my friend was given the key to a room on arrival which actually contained other guests - very embarrassing. The receptionist had made a very unfortunate error.

Fine sized room,great location,very courteous check in/out service staff/spectacular looking hotel itself both inside & outside/view was magnificent from our room and worth the extra supplement/very large bed/lounge space in the room were much appreciated. Breakfast staff very courteous/cleanliness excellent. Bilbao is a beautiful City!🖐😃

Lack of English by bar & restaurant staff a drawback for us/poor quality meal served to us on our 1st night in the bar so sadly decision made no more dining in the hotel after that/late dining hours for main restaurant...2030/2230 is too late to eat dinner. Breakfast "hot food" was not good quality but made up for with great cold food selection & pastries!🙁

Liked the breakfast but would have liked more veggies. Food and service were excellent. Room was large with great views and location was perfect.

The lighting in the room was horrible. To dark to put makeup on in one of the bathrooms in our suite and too dark to sit at the table to read. One reading lamp by the bed, and one tall lamp in the living room. I would not stay here again until I knew I had access to more light. The lamps on the walls and in ceiling were too dim.

Cool modern building with a stunning, full height atrium that feels inspired by the same artistic spirit as the Guggenheim down the road. Standard room was more like a suite, and by far the most luxurious for the money we stayed in during 10 days in Spain. Super friendly snd helpful staff. Great location 10 mins walk to main attractions, with views over river and parkland.

Pool was a bit small and not open until 10am so couldn’t have a morning dip
