Everything about this place is fantastic. The service, the food, the rooms, the pool and especially the sunset bar on the top floor. The breakfast is copious and fresh with everything you could desire. We rented bikes to go into town one day and that was very convenient. The beach is steps away and there is a nice boardwalk along the sea. The hotel is quite small so very relaxing. We also had massages which were wonderful. We will absolutely return.

The only issue we had was the construction in the area which at times was loud and dusty. They are building up that coastline now and there are a few buildings under construction near the hotel.

This was our second stay at Villa Chiquita and we love the hotel. Our room large, comfortable, spacious and very clean. Great shower and bathroom facility. The WiFi seemed to work fine but we did not try to stream video or watch on-line content. The team at the hotel are excellent, nothing is too much trouble and they are focussed on giving great customer service. Breakfast is a real treat with a wide selection of pretty much anything you could want and there is a hot food option that is freshly prepared by the chef. The location is great, just a few minutes walk from the sea if you like a morning dip.

There is very little to not like about Villa Chiquita and we will return in the spring. There was some building work going on next to the hotel which did not really impact us because it is in the day time and we tended to be out and about. However, this is not the hotel's fault and I am sure is only temporary.

The staff at the reception was very good, very welcoming and friendly. The same for the housekeeping staff and dining. Amazing rooftop terrace with outdoor pool and just gorgeous sunsets. kettle in the room plus free mineral water. The room was very well equipped, with everything you need. Beautiful restaurant with seaview and nice space- tables not to close to each other, so you have your space. They invite great musicians so the dining experience was amazing. I feel they really look after you and want you to make feel comfortable. It's very clean and aesthetic. You can take nice beach, seafront walks from the hotel in both left and right directions, and the bus stop is very close to the hotel too. There was also very nice church in the town and enough restaurants and places to eat to make your stay nice. The area is rather quiet, and still developing, but it wasn't a bad thing for me. I had a nice stay and was able to recharge my batteries. Didn't need much more. So overall very great experience and would recommend the place. Beautiful smell everywhere 😍

There was no "do not disturb" sign to hang on the door when you don't want the cleaning personel to come into your room, and when you don't respond to their knocking quickly enough they just enter your room.

The whole staff was very friendly. Our Junior Suite with the view to the sea was spacious and clean, looking down the hotel pool. We loved the atmosphere and the food of the rooftop bar so much that we dined there 3 times during our stay. Breakfast buffet has everything you wish with many extra dishes you can order for free. Nice short walk along the wood deck to the nearest beach with a beach restaurant and sun beds to rent.

Our toilet had a sliding door which didn't close completely and occasionally smelled of sewage. We had to regularly fight off some flies in the room. But no mosquitos, fortunately.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Villa Chiquita in September 2023. We were greeted with an extremely warm welcome by Matteo at the desk. The reception staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially if you need recommendations for excursions etc. The lobby area is modern, with an authentic Spanish feel. Our room was spacious and very clean. Others have said the beds are uncomfortable, but I'd disagree! One small problem was that the shower was not much more than a trickle - we left it a couple of days but it didn't improve, so we spoke to Mateu at reception - he immediately got the maintenance guy to have a look, and he found it to have a blockage! We were really impressed with how quickly they dealt with the problem. Air conditioning in the room isn't great, it doesn't feel really feel like air conditioning as the temperature stays the same, so perhaps some electric fans might be a good idea! Breakfast is very nice, the same each day but there are quite a few options. Plenty of fruit, pancakes, eggs, pastries etc. Also milk alternatives and a few options for vegans. The spa, pool and outside areas are very clean - unfortunately the main pool is in shade for much of the day, and so is too cold to swim, but the dipping pool on the roof is nice. The roof top area is perfect for sunbathing ,and the live sax & sunset are a really good weekend combination! Plus the food and drinks are reasonably priced. Parking is a little expensive at €20 a day so we just parked out on the road for free, no problem. Overall a lovely hotel, which we would highly recommend.

Air con not the best!

We liked everything 😊 Great location, clean, quiet and comfortable room. Wifi worked fine and the restaurants were excellent. The Sunset bar on the roof is simply stunning. The team could not have been more helpful, really cheerful, friendly and customer experience focused. The sea swimming by the hotel was really good and we had some really nice runs on the coastal path. There is also a bike mechanic based on site if you need some bike adjustments or tuning. We had several great rides around the area and the climb up to the top at Randa was a great experience. We will be back in the spring. Thank you for an amazing stay 😊

Really struggling to find anything we did not like!

Well- organized breakfast, good, typical and healthy products. Satisfying view of the bay. We relaxed in the SPA pool and enjoyed the view from the suggestive Sunset Club pool.

I would prefer more choice on the dinner menu

The property was very clean. The junior suite and balcony were great and the views from the roof top were incredible.

The rooftop area and pool were fantastic with great views. The pool did look a little weathered, cracked glass panel, tiles missing from the pool and a discolouration on tiles. Overall it was great. We found staff to be hit or miss. The reception staff were always brilliant but some of the serving staff came across as rude and unhelpful. The majority were excellent however.

Breakfast was superb, options for every dietary need. Views from balcony rooms and rooftop Sunset Sea Club were outstanding. Peaceful and serene hotel.

The area in this hotel zone wasn't what we expected. Although the sea promenade was right off property, many abandoned buildings, not sure if due to COVID or other reasons. Bring mosquito spray! Due to a lot of standing water in area mosquitoes were everywhere. Stores had no spray, they couldn't keep the spray on shelves long enough. We visited in early to mid October so it may have just been the season. Restaurants were a good walk away but still manageable but we had to abandon our walks due to the pests and thus couldn't explore the area in more detail.

I travelled in a quiet season, so was offered an upgrade to a stunning room, very spacious. Bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the entire hotel quiet. Small pool and spa, but very nice spaces. Good breakfast and excellent dinner. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
