Revisited as property was undergoing refurbishment- soft opening with not all rooms and full facilities open. Sympathetic refurb with lots of original fixtures/fixtures intact. Pleased to see floors, staircase, room furniture, friezes and atrium kept which worked very well with the new modern upgrades. Location brilliant, rooms lovely , pool area upgrade fabulous and will be even better when bar/snack area opens. Staff very helpful with early taxi and take out breakfast. Good luck with your new venture- we’ll definitely revisit.

Not to be too negative as work is ongoing and when fully complete the hotel will be amazing all round I’m sure. Did feel a little rushed to order hot breakfast however. Also, I feel that the history of this iconic Los Cris hotel (first in town) is a key point to highlight in the reception area (old photos, information books etc.) as a lot of visitors love to read about the history and culture of the area. I’m sure many returners have happy memories of the place as do we (Xmas, NYE drinks by the pool). Maybe reading material in rooms too. When we’ve visited before there was a book swap area which also worked well. Extra touches like these and attention to detail mean a lot. By all means embrace the future of an amazing building but also it’s past and you can’t fail to succeed.

Location excellent, beach, restaurants, cafes and pubs all nearby. Room, very recently refurbished was modern, clean, tidy and spacious. Staff were very friendly and obliging. Rooftop swimming pool and relaxation area was wonderful.

this is not a complaint, however the Hotel is currently undergoing major refurbishment, and work, understandably, commenced early each morning, however the there was very little disruption, and it looks like the hotel will be completed very soon. The only downside to the holiday was we had to cut it short due to one us becoming ill, so we will look forward to returning to complete our holiday as soon as possible.

Fantastic location, just a minute from the main promenade and central for great local authentic restaurants. Recently refurbished so lovely and clean.

The only negative was only having one server on at breakfast- just one struggled to cope with keeping everything topped up ( bread and juices etc ) and guests having to wait up to 40 minutes before being able to order something cooked. Once breakfast arrived it was lovely though.

I love this hotel - The location is perfect and very central for all of Los Cristianos Restaurants, shops, bars and sea front. The staff are all friendly,helpful and hardworking and always with a smile. Breakfasts are as always well presented and a good range for everyone's personal tastes. Having a balcony is so good especially as I am a lone traveller.

The Hotel is closing shortly for refurbishment - hopefully bathrooms and electrics are being updated along with general redecoration. Whilst this is being done hopefully the designers don't remove some of the characteristics that make it particularly attractive - The tiling in public areas and the large stained glass window in stair well give a wonderful 'Art Deco' feel that gives this Hotel it's own special character (Not the bland feel of many hotels) Change for change sake will spoil it's special atmosphere

We've been here several times before and we still love it. It has been upgraded cosmetically which was excellent. Great room, great staff, great breakfast. Brilliant location for our purposes.

The two ladies serving breakfast were amazing but for several days, there was only one of them working. This led to some delays which didn't bother us but some guests were tetchy. Another minor issue. There didn't seem any point having coffee, tea etc without any access to milk?

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions over the years and have never been disappointed. Located right next to the town’s lively church square it could not be more central and is an easy walk to the seafront, beach, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. It has an old-world feel not the featureless, ‘could be anywhere’ demeanour of many modern hotels. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a friendliness that continues to be evident across all the staff, as well as an appealing glass of Cava. The rooms are a reasonable size, have good storage space, an easy to use safety deposit box, a wall-mounted hairdyer in the bathroom (my wife insists I tell you this), a kettle and a small fridge. Breakfast is served in an airy room on the 4th floor with views over the sea and resort. There’s everything you need on the cold counters and you can order a full cooked breakfast or eggs prepared to your taste. On the rooftop is a swimming pool and plenty of loungers as well as a sun terrace with shady areas. Snacks and drinks can be delivered to your lounger by calling on the rooftop phone. All in all, a lovely hotel run by lovely people.

It's a truly excellent hotel so I mention a few things for consideration only to help improve an otherwise outstanding performance. (A) In the bathroom the use of a shower curtain seems a little dated in this day and age and a glass screen would probably be better. (B) Maybe as well as having access to a phone to place orders a member of staff should visit the rooftop area a few times in peak times to see if anybody wants anything, which I'm pretty sure they will. (C) The reception bar area seems very under-used. Given the ambience of the hotel and friendliness of the staff perhaps a bit more should be done to encourage its use, e.g. a 'happy cocktail hour' to encourage guests to have an aperitif or two before they go out for their evening meals.

Loved this hotel! Second time to stay here and will return in the future! Located right in the heart of Los Cristianos, yet nice & quiet at night. Very comfortable, spacious room with balcony. Restaurants & bars are within 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Great roof top pool with sun loungers & umbrellas. Never packed and always guaranteed a spot! All the staff were super friendly & helpful. Roodolfo was very welcoming upon our arrival and was very helpful and friendly.

There was very little not to like about this hotel! The small spa area/jacuzzi didn't appear to be open.

Everything, staff, facilities and location. What a find, we'd definitely come back. The chambermaid staff need a special mention as delightful, friendly and helpful. The reception staff are amazing and the dining room staff really pleasant too. We loved it :)

Maybe a little noisy at night but it was carnival week so to be expected. The hotel is closing in May for a refurbishment so we can't come back in November which is a shame. Thank you everyone.

All was very good, I would have given it exceptional but there was some renovation work going on which I was not expecting. The manager and staff were excellent they dealt with bathroom issue as best possible but I did have to move rooms as blockage could not be resolved for some time. This was all dealt with in a very good way.

The building work was unexpected.

I had amazing vacation in Los Cristianos thanks to the hospitality I experienced in this hotel. The staff was simply amazing - very kind and approachable at all times. The room was large with a nice balcony and sparkling clean; it even had a small space with a fridge and a kettle where I could make a small snack or a cup of coffee. The rooftop pool was absolutely amazing, surprisingly warm for March and not too crowded. The breakfast was great, too - there was a cold buffet available in combination with the a la carte menu on top; on the days I wanted to travel, the hotel staff packed a small picnic as a takeaway, which was lovely. The location could not have been better - close to the beaches and the promenade with a huge variety of the dining options available literally behind the corner; supermarkets, an excellent local bakery, and a fruit shop not more than 5 minutes away from the hotel.

The fridge could have been more powerful, as well as the wifi. The wifi was good enough for checking e-mails or watching videos, but not strong enough to handle an uninterrupted call via FaceTime for instance. Otherwise absolutely nothing to complain about.
