Excellent location next to the Plaza Santa Ana with lots of restaurants and bars next to the hotel. Only a 15 minute walk West to the Cathedral and Royal Palace and 15min East to the Museo del Prado. Room modern and clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is 2 doors down from the Hotel entrance so it meant going outside but the continental breakfast selection was good with quality coffee and orange juice.

The rooms have thin walls and you can hear everything your neighbours are saying. There is a noise from the outside bars but this wasn't a major problem for us in February. I was very surprised to find ourselves locked in the Hotel on two occasions when nobody was on reception. We had to wait for the receptionist to come back to unlock the doors to let us out. There needs to be an access button or card reader for guests and I am sure this must break fire regulations.

The staff are extremely kind and the location is central. breakfast is very good. .

The hotel is small!! there are stairs to get to the elevator which makes it difficult with a suitcase. The bathroom and the shower are small. .

The location was very central, near most of the areas in Madrid that are top “ must see” attractions. Breakfast was good, though quite “basic”! The 2 rooms I stayed in were both very clean, with a lovely view of Plaza Santa Ana, and had everything necessary (safety deposit box, mini fridge, comfortable bed, etc.). The main problem with the rooms is that they are extremely small and quite cramped. The shower was so tiny that it was actually difficult to take a shower in! Yet, I was glad that water didn’t leak out onto the floor. Perhaps the rooms should have smaller beds so the rooms themselves would feel larger? The hotel staff was exceptional: everybody was extremely friendly, helpful and kind.

My biggest complaint was the tiny size of the rooms.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is small and cozy. Breakfasts are good, quite varied. The hotel does not have a restaurant; breakfasts are served in a nearby building, very close by. Besides, food is not an issue, as the hotel has a fantastic location. In Santa Ana Square, there are the best tapas bars and restaurants at affordable prices and in great abundance.

Some bathrooms have a shower without a handheld showerhead, only with a rain shower overhead. This is very inconvenient when showering daily over several days.

This was our second time staying in this hotel. The reason we chosen it was because we stayed here previous year and we loved everything about it! Super-friendly stuff, willing to help with everything they can even "out of hotel's scope"! Good breakfast! Location is fantastic, underground parking is just 2-3 mins way (Plaza de Santa Ana), where hotel's guests get discount. Garage parking clearance is big enough to allow family mini-vans! Overall another yet great experience with Miau hotel!

A bit of disappointment came from the fact that this time we got some smaller room comparing to the previous year. A room for two adults and two kids had only one extra bed (previous year, we had two small beds for kids).

It is lovely nice hotel, room was big enough for 1-2 persons. Bus and metro stops in 5-10 min walk distance (connection to airport, main train station), walking distance to museums, different sightseeing areas and parks. All the staff I met was really nice and helpful, secured luggage storage available. Bars and restaurants just around the corner, small shops also. Busy area but not noisy (bars just under the windows). Very comfy bed. Good value for the money.

I bigger shower space would be fine :)

Reception staff in the hotel were excellent. Very friendly and helpful with all requests. The hotel was kept immaculately clean and daily room clean was great. Location was great. We walked everywhere and enjoyed its location to top sites and bars, restaurants and shops. View of Plaza Santa Ana from our bedroom windows!

Breakfast didn’t start till 8am which would probably be ok for many but we had a couple of mornings where we would have appreciated option of an early start. Selection at breakfast was good but maybe could have been better accompanied with ‘service with a smile’.

The hotel does not aspire to luxury but ensures that the basics are in good order. This is highly appreciated. The team of staff is capable, they are very helpful, the rooms are tidy, breakfast is fine and the Wi-Fi worked well. You get two bottles of water and a boiler upon request. The atmosphere among the guests was also polite and peaceful when I was there. Many professionals and solo travelers (maybe due to the time of year), but the hotel staff were equally helpful to a family with children. One of the strengths is also the location, right in the center of Madrid.

The hotel is not super well-insulated, although I found it to be better than what I read in the reviews. The room was rather small, as was the shower, where it was sometimes difficult to maintain a constant water temperature.

The room was very good, clean, light and specious, bad was soft also I very liked that I arrived to hotel before check-in time and rest my luggage then when I come back to the hotel and did a check-in my luggage have been already in the room, for example in 5 stars hotel in Tbilisi I needed to call 2 times on the reception to get back my luggage and the last point that I have just one night in this hotel with included breakfast but on the day when I must have breakfast I had early fly, I asked to change my breakfast to the day when I arrived and hotel manager did it

Just breakfast, it was to very bad, but not good also, small choice of food and not very tasty food
